Saturday – Day 22 – Power of Veto Today.
July 23rd, 2011Currently: Rachel HoH. Dominic and Adam Nominated. Brendon won POV. No Have Nots this week. Daniele, Porsche and Shelly have gold keys. Rachel on slop for a week but can have food & drink from her basket. Jordan won luxury competition.
10pm Alcohol arrived at 9pm – those that can are drinking. Earlier they got the pool basketball hoop so they are using it to play horse.
Game wise… Daniele is getting a bit nervous, I think she knows the other four vets are on to her a bit and you can see she is sensing things. She may try to get back in their good graces or may try to solidify her alliances with Non-vets if she thinks its too late. Kalia is also getting a bit worried since no one has talked much game with her this week – she proceeded to go after Lawon a bit in talks with Shelly and Rachel.
6:30pm Dominic and Daniele have been talking in the candy bedroom – and have been joined by Kalia. Outside Shelly, Lawon, Porsche, Adam and Brendon are talking – no real game talk to be heard at the moment.
5:15pm Brendon won the Power of Veto this afternoon. This should ensure Jeff and Jordan’s safety – right now I would say Adam will be evicted on Thursday but the POV ceremony may not be until Monday like last week and things could change in the meantime. Daniele may still push to have Brendon use the POV and put up Jeff and Jordan but I really can’t see that happening.
11:30am Now Daniele has come up to the HoH room and is talking to Brendon and Rachel – Daniele is seeming to push a bit to go after Jeff and Jordan this week – saying that they will be two votes against them if they both get into the Jury House. But we know that Brendon trusts Jeff and Jordan more than Daniele so the odds are slim they will really consider this.
11am Brendon just told Dominic they want him to throw the POV competition – that the target is Adam. Dominic claims to be all for it. He also seems to be sharing some of his conversation that he had with Shelly earlier this morning.
10:32 Dominic now up on the HoH talking game with Rachel.
10:30am Players selected for POV – once again it will be Jeff and Jordan – so its exactly the same six as last Saturday. Porsche will be hosting. Jeff, Jordan, Brendon and Rachel talked a little bit ago about Daniele and how she is playing all sides.
9am The house guests are ‘up’ – but waiting for the Power of Veto name selection to take place. Jeff and Jordan are a bit worried since there is the tiniest of chances they could go up if things went weird today.
8am With the exception of Shelly, the house is asleep. Looks like an inside lockdown – most likely the backyard is being prepared for the POV competition.
6:40am The house is sleeping away. Even though they don’t have to, Shelly and Dominic are sleeping in the have not room – but they do have nice pillows and blankets. The Power of Veto competition will be today – worst case situation for the Veterans would be for Kalia and Lawon to win it. If they did – and they used it – then Rachel would have to put up Jeff and Jordan. But I think if they did by chance win it they wouldn’t use it as Kalia would like to see Adam voted out.
Late Night: Biggest game talk was between Dominic and Shelly in the Have Not room from around 2:19am to just after 3am. While they didn’t set some kind of handshake alliance – they talked a lot about the game and where everyone was at. I don’t think either will run back to the other people they are working with and tell them much about the conversation. They both agree, as do most, that Jeff and Brendon would be the ones to get out of the remaining couples. Dominic implied Daniele might be willing to come work with them when the couples situation is over. Dom bad-mouthed Porsche a bit so you knew there was some things being kept back, like Dominic’s talk of an alliance with Porsche Friday afternoon.
