Saturday, Power of Veto Today
August 8th, 2009Today: POV was won by Kevin today. Currently he doesn’t plan on using it because he has been promised that Lydia will not go home. Others that played were Russel, Lydia, Chima, Natalie, and Jeff. Chima, Natalie and Jesse feel very confident that Jeff is the holder of the ‘magic power’ but they don’t know what it is – nor if he would use it for sure.
9:50pm Not sure what Jesse is trying to do – he just finished telling Jeff that he and Natalie have his and Jordan’s best interest at heart, that Russel had asked t be put up against Jeff, and that Russel is trying to play both jeff and himself. The speculating about the mystery power has been almost non-stop – too much for my likes.
7:55pm In the HoH room Jesse is still mad Russel didn’t pick him to play for the POV (he picked Jeff). Natalie and Chima are also there and they currently want to make Jeff think that Russel is safe and won’t use the ’secret power.’ Jesse actually has it laid out pretty well – that he will proably go home Russel will have some loyalty to Jeff and Chima won’t be able to compete in the HoH next week.
7:30pm Whats up in the house? Hmmmm… Jeff talked with Michele about her untrustworthyness and Michelle says she is still loyal to only Jeff and Jordan. Jesse and others all seem convinced Jeff may have the power and that he will use it – whatever IT is. all in all – no major changes in the house since my last update @ 2:45pm. The ‘plan’ as it stands by Chima and Kevin is still to not use the POV andtrust that the house will vote out Rusel.
2:45pm Kevin and Lydia meet with Chima. Kevin may not use the POV on Lydia as long as they are sure Lydia is safe. Chima is all for it ans days Lydia is safe. They also talk about the power and how that might mess it all up anyways.
2:30pm Kevin won the POV. Eggs were involved and HGs were in chicken suits I think. Kevin is not sure if he wants to use it to save Lydia because Chima said she didn’t want things changed. She does want Russel out – but Lydia is worried she might go.
2:15pm The POV competition is over. Not sure who won yet but I don’t think it was Jeff. Anything else would be speculation.
10:30am No clue when the POV competition will be. The HGs are all back in bed. Still haven’t determined for sure who the last person playing for the POV is – but it isn’t Jesse. Natalie and Jeff are the two extras we know about. May be a while before my next update – but we know the important stuff – Natalie MAY win it – Jesse can’t. One of the two people we think Jeff may go after will be available for nomination Thursday.
10:17am Natalie is also playing for the POV. 6th person still to be determined.
10:05am POV players picked. Still seeing who – Jeff is in.
9:30am Morning routine for those that are up. TONS of limes in the Storage room. Power of veto player selection and competitoin should be on the agenda for today.
8:30am Wake up call came about 10 minutes ago.
8am First time 4 HGs have had to sleep in the ‘cold’ bedroom.
12-5am Highlights from the late hours.
Jeff and Jordan snuggled in the splash room before Jeff had to head to the cold bedroom. KIssing was part of the snuggling.
Upstairs was mostly a girl power meeting + Kevin in the HoH room. Circular conversation was the rule – anti Russel, anti Lydia, and how Chima will be furious if the “Power” makes her HoH time pointless.
Russel is now just going to be mean to Michele I think – might make for another fight night or two. He called her nuts several times overnight.
