Archive of Week Two July 13-19

7/19/03 11:30pm - The bikini show lasted about 2 minutes - then Dave came out and pulled on Michelles string or something - Jun was there with a towel and had her covered up fast.

Click to see full size pics.

10:30pm Jun has been making vegetable bikinis for Alison and Michelle  - so be prepared for some bikini show - a la the PB bikini's last year.  According to Alison Michelle is all fired up - Alison is much more aprehensive.

Salad Bar Bikini in the making

Everything seems calm today - with one exception of Michelle thinking the guys may want to get rid of all the women.  I still expect the Veto to not be used tommorow and Michelle to be evicted Wednesday much to the surprise of Justin, Jee, Robert and Dana (oh - and Michelle).

1:30pm - The Veto ceremony is scheduled for Sunday at 12pm (Pacific time). Currently Dave does not plan to use it.

Not a whole lot goin on....  Last night there was more talk, but nothing changed.  Nathan, Alison and Jun talked about the plan, tried to figgure out another way, and in the end decided to stick with the plan to vote out Michelle.

Jee gave Jun the HoH room for the night as a birthday present (today is her birthday).  She is napping there right now and spent the night there last night - by herself.

The tortise's names..  I know one is Link - not sure about the other - something like "cuff" perhaps (Cuff - Link - get it??).

7/18/03 Remember - things seem to change every hour in the house recently, so this is where things stand NOW - don't hold me to it 2 hours from now :)

11:40 pm - Jun and Alison appear to be in on the plan to vote out Michelle.  Alison made an effort to get Dana up but Jee gave her the same story.  So they dont' really want to vote Michelle out - but they would rather see her gone than Erika.  Rob, Justin, Jee and Dana are feeling rather confident now.  Robert was slamming Jack while talking with Dana - saying he is not very smart for the line of work he was in.  Little does he know that come Wednesday he is in for a big Shock.

Jack and the others also know they must win HoH Wednesday and then put up (most likely) Robert and Justin - to assure one of them goes.  They hope that Justin and Robert will be so shocked at the eviction of Michlle that they won't be able to do well on the HoH which occurs right after the eviction.

Nathan and Michelle sat for a while on the hammock after the discussion listed below, you can tell he is feeling bad.  Dave is worried that Jun and Ali won't be able to keep up the act.  Michelle is completely un-aware that she may be going.

9:00 pm MY GOD!!!!  HoH room has been a freaking Marathon session - in the end Jee says if you use the Veto I will NOT nominate Dana (he won't tell Dave & company who he will put up - but his aliance agrees Jack).  So...  Jack, David, Erika and Nathan decide to NOT use the veto and vote out Michelle.  Nathan tells Jun and she agrees - realizes the numbers are beter that way.  Ali supposedly will also vote with Nathan and Jun.  So don't hold me to it - but Michelle is in for a big surprise Wednesday (and so are Dana, Jee, Justin and Robert).

Of course this will test the super secret alliance theory - will Jun inform Jee of the plan?

3:15pm Robert petitions Jee to change plans and eliminate Dana.  Its still up in the air.  They have still Sunday to work it out.  Jee is not for it at all.  As I type this Justin is with them and they seem back on the track of evicting Erika.

Another clue that Jun and Jee may have an alliance.  They were speaking in Korean in the bathroom - then the storage room.  While in the storage room they were both called into the diary room (together).  When they came out, Jee told everyone they were told they could not sing some Korean song, he said he guesses you are not allowed to speak a foreign language in the house (nice cover Jee - I ain't buying it).

Dana - doesn't like the whispering.  Interupts Dave and jack discussing how to save Erika.  Dave makes up a story as to why they were talking.

1:45pm A new possibility... Robert may have agreed to let David save Michelle, and have Jee put up Dana - on the condition that Erika will not nominate Robert if she gets HoH.  Deal is far from done - Jee is not even clued in on it yet.  Stay tuned.

The hgs that lost the food competition (Robert, Nathan, Michelle, Dave and Dana) are going to be allowed to eat 2 of the caseroles from the game. Those that saw BB III will recall the HGs that lost a brownie eating contest were allowed to eat the remaining brownies the rest of the week.

Feeds are going bad again - its not you - its everyone.

The wacky afternoon feeds.

1pm Dave wins POV - what will he do is anyone's guess - he is discussing things with Michelle and Jee.  But nothing will be sure until the actual POV ceremony Sunday - things will be nuts until then.

11am  Hgs up and preparing for the POV competition.  Yup its duckball. They should begin in an hour - but it will be blocked on the feeds.  Looks like the blue bucket has been replaced by a POV symbol and water instead of the blue mat.

Sneak peek pics from the live feeds.  The person in the second picture must be on the production staff. Click each pic to see full size.

Jack and Dave agreed not to use the POV if they win it (promises to Jee) - so expect them to throw it.  they hope Erika, Michelle, Nathan, Alison or Jun win it, The thought being they will use it and hope Jee puts up Dana.

8am Hgs all asleep, last night the HGs made Tye Dye shirts and continued to 'stratigize' about the nominations.  Dana is now aware that she is not a favorite among the HGs but she is still unsure who her friends are - or aren't.   She seems to be sticking close to Robert, Jee and Justin.  Everything hangs on th POV - which last week was awarded on Friday - so it might be today - and it might be the duck game.

Jun and Jee - a super-dooper secret alliance?? If you watched last year you know Danielle and Jason had an aliance from the start - and that BB kept even the folks watching the live feeds out of the loop.  It now seems possible that Jun and Jee may have a similar agreement - they were spotted in the HoH room briefly last night acting completely different towards each other.  Jee told her something about keeping the girls in line.  its fun to think about anyways.

7/17/03 7pm After almost 2 hours of FOTH the feeds return and the nominations went as suspected - Erika and Michelle are up.  Jee had problems with the keys and the box so it took a long time before they could begin.

4pm Nominations will be tonight - Jee has been getting all his ducks in a row.

Real Player - Man -it has stunk today - crashes all over the feeds.  But only the BB feeds - other feeds through Real are fine.  I have spoken with Real twice and they told me to re-install - big mistake because it did not fix anything - and caused more problems.  So just be patient.  Currently I have had the feeds on for 15 minutes without a problem.

The plotting has been thick - very hard to keep up - but here is a summary. As of right now - Jee will nominate Erika and Michelle - if either get's veto'd Jee will put up Dana and everyone will vote Dana out.  Some people are trying to get Jee to put Dana up now but he said he promised her he wouldn't.

Jee's HoH room should have a revolving door for all the people that have come in and out today.

Alliances - Jee, Justin and Robert consider themselves to have a "Secret Alliance" - they also include Dana, Alison and Nathan some times.  But Nathan and Alison are working with Jack, Dave and Erika so it gets confusing :)

10:15am Alison, Jun, Jack, Erika and Justin won the food competition. So Nathan, Robert, Dave, Michelle, and Dana will be on PB & J for the week.  Jun as HoH will get regular food as well.  The competition was a relay of sorts, in that each HG had to identify two items in a caserole before the next HG on their team could guess for theirs.  Here is the winning tote-board.  No one got sick that I could see.  The producers blacked out a lot of it though.

Dana munches on an Oyster & Brussel Sprout Casserole
The quad cam shows the 2 tote boards and two teams.
Jun shortly before she got the final casserole guessed (Tongue & Bell Pepper).
Both Teams had the same casserole, these were all the items in each.

8am Nothing really to report from last night - more discussions but the theme is the same.  Jee plans to get Erika out.

Hgs are all snug in their beds - they will have a food competition today where half the house will win food, the other will be on PB 7 J for the week.  Updates as they are warrented. :)

7/16/03 9:30pm Jee is in the HoH room and now holding court with Dana and Robert.  He plans to nominate Erika (the target) and Michelle (the pawn).  If Erika gets veto'd he will replace her with Jack or (less likely) Dave.  Others that know the plan at this point are Nathan and Justin.  So unless there is some major blowup - or Erika wins POV - expect her to be gone next Wednesday.  Dana is to inform Michelle of the plan right before nominations.

6:58pm - Jee is the new HoH - more details once I get to see the show.  But apparently the Sexcapade last night was discussed.

6:45pm Amanda is the first houseguest voted out.

2pm - The Live Show will be at 6pm Big Brother time - during that time the feeds will be off.  Amanda and Jee are packing.

The Hgs all finally got up this morning and were locked inside.  Dave told Jack and possibly Erika that he got sick in the HoH room (and elsewhere) last night and thats why they were told to get out of the HoH room - Jack promised not to tell anyone else, the story will be that Big Brother told them to leave the HoH room so they could prepare it for the next HoH.

Most of the morning Big Brother had the Foth Music blaring - it seems to kepe the HGs from hearing the noise as they worked outside to prepare the yard for the live show.

Dave and Amanda seem fine this morning - Dave feels a bit sick, but the two snuggled most of the morning.  Dave is very concerned that he will get nominated now.  Both think that most of what happened last night did not get out on the internet.  Dave getting sick didn't, but that appears to have happened shortly after the Foth kicked in last night.

8am - Well - David was awarded the HoH room last night by Nathan so he and Amanda could have some "alone" time and boy did they ever.  There is little doubt that the pair had sex.  The 1st time in BB USA I am willing to say that despite rumors about Will and Shannon in BB2.  You can read all the details in the TVCH Live Feeds area   Start around 2am and go from there.  From a video that is already circling the BB community - the cameras kept rolling until the actual "act" seems to have begun and then they cut to the "Foth."  Seems dave may have also gotten sick (thrown up) later on.

Amanda and Dave in the HoH room.
Amanda and Dave back in Dave's bed this morning.

The two have been flirting and talking a lot the last couple days so it wasn't that surprising more happened, but the fact that it went so far was interesting.  Dave and Amanda were both very worried beforehand that Dave might be the next to go now.  Nathan promised him that he wouldn't, we'll see.  To be safe Robert was kind enough to provide David with a condom as well - what a swell guy.

There was no competition last night - seems BB was just setting up more stuff for the live show tonight.  The Hgs spent a lot of time cleaning the house.

7/15/03 7:15pm - The HG's have been on lockdown for quite a while, they have a lot of food and have been eating.  They think they have some type of competition tonight.

4:15pm - Voting is over - now the Hgs are just lounging around.  They will get a regular meal for tonight since they haven't had a food challenge in a week - they were told the next food competition is Thursday - there will be two teams - so some will win and some lose.

Jun told Jee she is sure he is staying.

Voting is underway.  It had been reported that voting would be "live" but it looks like just like previous years - it will be pre-recorded at least to start (once there are less houseguests they have changed to live voting in previous seasons).

The duck game.... the Hgs are practicing this game and here are the rules as I can figgure them out.

2 players - you play to 15 points.

Stand on the green mats and toss the ducks at the bucket.
1 point for landing your duck on the mat.
2 points if you hit the bucket, and you get an extra shot.
3 points in the bucket, and you get an extra shot.

1st player to 15 wins.

Alison and Dana toss the ducks.

They don't know when they will play this game, they only know they "may" be rewarded at a furture date.  The hula hoops from last night are not involved.  The pool floats at this point seem to just be gifts for the HGs.

New Items in the backyard....

Its currently 9am in big Brother land and the snoozing HGs were just told to get up, voting will begin in one hour.  Much grumbling...and many HGs are not moving yet.

The wee hours of the morning.  Nathan has said he promised Jee not to vote him out, so it looks like Amanda is still going.  There was some discussion of saving her by Jack & Erika & Dave yesterday.

Jun and Dana were complaining about Nathan being HoH - they think its gone to his head.  Dana feels very strongly she needs to win HoH, partially because nathan tried to convince her she might be nominated if she didn't.

7/14/03 Day 10 - They HGs have Hula Hoops that it seems they will use in a food competition tommorow.  They are unsure if it will be a group thing or a team thing (split the house).  This is their guess - it may be something completely different as well.

Did you read below where I said Dave, Erika and Jack needed to worry?  Scratch that, as a matter of fact, scratch all my predictions as this group cant keep track of its own alliances.  I won't have a good idea who will be nominated until after HoH.  The only thing I know for sure is Amanda is out Wednesday.

Alison and Nathan seem to be pretty solidly aligned, as do Dave, Erika and Jack.  The rest seem to have a bunch of different things working and my head starts to hurt when I think of all the angles.

The stuff going on this morning outside was apparently just the staff doing upkeep - and painting the grass green.  As far as the house guests know there is no competition today - its been since last Tuesday since they competed for anything besides the POV.

Erika approached Robert and had a talk with him - nothing was really worked out - they apparently had not spoken since the 1st day in the house.  Erika told Alison she might leave (famous last words).  Robert went inside and re-counted the whole incident to Dana.  It would seem that Erika, Dave and Jack are very much in the minority in the house today - expect 2 of them to be nominated if anyone else wins HoH Wednesday.

USA Today has an article on Scott being tossed out. Part of it reads, "It's unclear whether the tantrum will end up on the show, which airs Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Weintraub probably won't be replaced, because this season had 13 contestants instead of the usual 12."

My personal take is that its doubtful, if they were going to replace him they would have by now.  The only possibility is if they do it during the live eviction show Wednesday.

Big Brother is setting up something on the Basketball court/Chess Board - Jack thinks they have a Lux. Competition today.

Nathan and Alison are definitly and item - much kissing and snuggling in the HoH room last night.

Outside Dave and Amanda talked until the wee hours of the morning.

Jack and Dave seem to be working at squeezing Dana out of the "8" (now 7) because they know she is in cahoots with some of the "exs."  Jjack wants to get alone with Nathan in the HoH  room to discuss it after the competition.

Several Members of the Production Staff prepare the yard for a competition this morning.
Here one of the staff seems to be working on the backboard.

7/13/03 Day 9 - Mid-day update - Dana did not use the POV - expect Amanda to be kicked out Wednesday unless something dramatic happens of BB decides not to evict anyone this week since Scott was kicked out (doubtful).

Morning - HG's are just rising for the day but there has been much discussion of strategy by Erika, Jack and Dave.  They are at a bit of a loss at the moment having lost one of the 4 that were solidly aligned with them.

It looks like they may have missed a Lux. competition last night due to the whole goings on with Scott.

Today Dana should be asked to use (or not use) the POV.

And we shall see if they will replace Scott.  Then again they may wait to replace him on the Live Show - who knows.  Either way I think they need to replace him otherwise they will have a week without an eviction.  So if they do - will it be an Ex of Nathan's?   Dana's?  Dana mentioned that she saw one of her EX's before the show began.
