8/23/03 10:20 pm  no way any strategy talk will be going on now. There are two groups at the moment Jun/Jee/Erika inside and Rob/Jack/Ali  outside.  Jee, due to boredom is reading the Big Brother rules manual.

9:30 pm  Jee smokes his last cigarette.  This might get interesting over the next few days......

9:15 pm Jee has apparently decided not to stick to his promise to eat just PB&J (other than the Mcdonalds) - he has kept and snacked on his McDonalds and eaten other things as well because "its a shame to let this food go to waste."  Yeah - ok Jee - whatever.....

The rest of the afternoon the HGs went in and out of the diary room showin goff their new duds, there were several instances of strategy talk but nothing new (at least nothing I noticed).  And then the naps.

2:30 pm Jun and Erika discussed the ramifications of Robert getting HoH next, they think he might want Ali out and I guess they might be right since if Erika stays Jee/Robert will have realized Alison was playing them.

In the morning the HGs got up - same old same old.. Erika did have McDonalds breakfast with Jee.  Just after 12 pm they did the second part of the Luxury challenge - the shopping spree.  To me its as lame as the Laundy thing, but the Hgs seem to have enjoyed it more.  Just goes to show you that when you are deprived of a lot of stuff anything will spice things up for you.  Hey, Bring back the trampoline next week!! 

I have been away from my computer all day - how nice!!  I can't believe they didn't show anything besides the veto ceremony tonight on the show. Tuesday they will have to show the Nominations, the special food competition with Marcel. The Luxury competition AND all the plotting that has gone on since Thursday night. 

After that the guys went in the hot tub and the girls tried to evesdrop.  Erika said she was a bit upset because Jack seems ok with the idea of Erika getting evicted. What Erika doesn't know is Jack has been lobbying Jee to use the veto to save Erika and then put up Alison (thats is not working though).  The girls seem pretty determined to save Erika.  Then they hope to win HoH and put up Robert and Jee - they are divided on whom to evict at this point.

In the evening the Hgs begin a luxury competition - a shopping spree (reminds me of BB2) - they ceremonially burned certain articles of clothing of fellow Hgs while wearing body paint.  Tommorow they get a shopping spree (yawn!).

Jack and Jee got McDonalds for dinner - Jack only was allowed to eat for a set time and could not keep any food, where Jee was allowed to keep his extra food (since he wond the veto competition).  Jee later told RObert he decided not to let Jack win the competition earlier in the day because he did not want Jack to have any extra energy when the HoH competition comes Wednesday (assuming he is still in the house, which Rob 7 Jee do).

Jun spoke with Jee and in the afternoon confirmed that he was loyal to Robert before her.  So she would have to get rid of Robert without his help.

2:50 pm  Marcel (bb3) and a woman make an appearance on the FOTH cam - looks like BB cut to the FOTH to show them as it only lasted 10 seconds.  I don't know who the female was - a friend or Lisa would be my guess.

2:40 pm - Jee is pissed because everyone (almost) is mad at Jee for winning the food competition. He says he doesn't care - its a game.  he says he will try to win the luxury competition tommorow as well.  He really was not thinking.  He says he knows he is out before Robert now.

2:10 pm - Jee won - why he tried so hard I have not a clue - he was HoH and was allowed to eat anyways.  He beat out Jack.

this is the prize:  dinner tonight, breakfast tommorow - lunch on sun, mon, tues...... from mcdonalds.... they can have a guest with them each time - can be a different person. No sharing other than with the guest of course. 

1:00 pm They are waiting on the competition. PB&J diet has begun - well - its actually PB&J and condiments.  They have checked and butter is a condiment - so Robert is happy.  Honey is also a condiment.  In other words - its not as bad as it sounds.

12:45 pm - the backyard has been set up for what I assume is a luxury challange.  Much like BB3 there are Gnomes involved.  The backyard is covered in gnomes.  And there are face shields and hammers so I assume they will be smashing them.  Ali later said there was over 250 gnomes.

10:00 am Still no one up and about other than occasionaly someone using the bathroom.

6:10 am - all house guests soundly sleeping.  Jack is now sleeping in Justins old bed and Erika and Jun are sharing Jun's bed.  Robert and Ali are in the same beds they have been in and Jee is in the HoH room.

Late Night: Just when I thought things might be really boring they get interesting.  Ali and Jun continued to talk last night and really do seem to have agreed to get rid of Jack and team up with Erika.  Erika is now aware of this and you can tell she feels a bit uncomfortable - Jack suggested trying to get Jee to use the veto and try to save both of them and she was less than enthusiastic.  The big question is - can Ali/Jun keep quiet until the voting? And will anything happen that makes them change their mind?  Robert/Jee are still very confident Ali is with them.  I would not count on this alliance to last past this week - Jun has told Ali she agrees to go after Robert/Jee  next but this could be a lie - she may want to take Jee farther (A mistake inmo at this point).

8:30 pm Jack and Erika are nominated.  Robert has told Ali not to tell Jun how they are voting (Robert wants Erika to go - Ali says she is behind him 100%).

8 pm Nomination ceremony is underway.  So we currently have the  Front Of The House (Foth) view on the live feeds.  Unless Jee suddenly loses his mind he will be nominating Jack and Erika.  And there will be no veto.  I guess more clearly Jee has the veto and will not use it.

6:50 pm  It would appear that the "twist" went something as follows.  Julie Chen talked to each HG - actually each HG was in a seperate area and I think she spoke to them as a group (similar to the time in BB3 when they voted Amy back in).  Ok - basically they did the veto competition before nominations.  The person that took the deal  won the veto and does not have to eat PB & J while the rest of the house does.  They were given different times to do this - the person that took the longest time (if anyone) won the POV.  Turns our Jee was the only one to take it - and he took one week (other HGs eat PB & J for one week.  So no one can challenge his nominations - but the whole house is kind of ticked off at him.  Jee thought for sure Erica or Jack would take it so he decided to take it as well (there was some type of tie-breaker number but no one besides Jee agreed to the offer so it was not needed).  Nominatios are still to come.

2 pm - It has been a very slow day - after emptying the Desert room the hgs ate and most went back to bed.  The think they have the "Twist" and Nominations and the food competition to be completed.  They keep guessing at possible twists.  Robert and Jee are already analyzing next week and future HoH things.  Erika and Jack will be nominated and they want to vote out Erika, their only concern is if Erika gets the veto (tommorow).

Hgs got up around 9 am and Jack and Erika were told to get their bedroom cleared out by 10 am - the room will be closed and the Tortoises are being removed.

As far as i know the food competition and nominations are on for today - as well as the "Twist" - but no word on when or what it will be yet.  Jee & Robert did not feel it would affect nominations.

Jee: Well being the HoH he is in good shape.  It seems he will nominate Jack & Erika - and wants Erika out as he and Robert talked about earlier today.

Robert: is safe as can be - he and Jee spent the night discussing strategy - in a way.  They at 1st wanted to lie to Jack and tell him he was going and surprise him with the eviction of Erika.  But later they pretty much let him know Erika would most likely go.

Alison: Is feeling very safe, she conspired with Jee/Robert quite a bit.  It was pretty obvious she didn't want to win the HoH.  Robert and Jee are not completely dumb, they know she is just playing with the winners but it keeps her safe this week.

Jun: Seems to have solidified her ties with Jack/Erika, and when she talked with Jee about maybe putting up Alison he wouldn't go for it.  He also implied that if Jack/Erika are nominated and one of them gets the veto - she would go up in their place not Alison.

Jack: Feels really bad for blowing the HoH - he went to Jee and asked him to evict him and not Erika he felt so bad.  I don't think it is going to work though.

Erika: was upset as well - she also knows that she will most likely go up on the block.

6:55 pm Jee wins HoH.

6:40 pm Justin Evicted by a vote of 3-1 - Jee voted to evict Robert.

2:30 pm We are treated to the 1st "long" tortoise-cam I have seen - all 4 feeds on them and no one in the room, so its quiet.  I am guessing that they are outside rehearsing for the HoH competition.

2:15 pm  After eating many of the HGs took naps.  Most are back up now.  Erika is plucking Ali's eyebrows.  Erika and Jack  have continued to touch bases with Ali & jun - Jun "seems" closer to Erika/Jack while Ali seems to be playing both sides a bit harder.  Erika and jack have both touched bases with Ali letting her know "we have your back" - she said everything was fine.  Jun also talks to Ali and they both say they are going for the HoH (although once again I suspect Ali at least will throw it).

10:30 am Rob talks to Jee and they decide (for the moment) that if either of them get HoH they will nominate Jack/Erika - and they want Erika gone (previously they had wanted Jack gone first) - Robert says that Erika is stronger than Jack so she should go 1st.  they also feel if Alison gets it she will nominate Jack/Erika.  I get the feeling Ali is going to throw it because neither camp plans on nominating her.

10 am  The HGs find the official game outside - they can't practice yet although BB has told them they will get some time to practice. It is now a side/by/side game and there are bigger bumps.  I imagine it will be similar to other games from previous BB's - where 2 people compete side by side.

9:50 am Big Brother told the Hgs to get up - they had to be locked down outside for a few minutes.

Late night, they grilled hamburgers and went off to bed.  There was some strategy talk, but nothing new.

They were given a game to practice tonight - it is similar to games that have been played in previous editions of Big Brother.  And of course they will change it a little for the HoH competition tommorow.

Morning/Afternoon - Voting took place, it seems pretty clear that Justin is going. Jun colored Alison's hair - red highllights, I couldn't see much red in the results.

8 am - everyone is sleeping.  Erika is in the HoH room (and has been every night except the 1st night as HoH).

Late night: Big Brother announced that they would be voting tommorow - so no live vote this week.  Bummer, that almost secures Justin going - I thought if it was a live vote there was always the chance someone might get the jitters and switch and mess up the vote.  There has not been anything to indicate that happening now - especially with the vote being done today.

The Jee3 continued to strategize with Justin just giving advice since he assumes he is gone.  Robert and Jee are still mad at jun for switching sides (in their opinion).  It seems that their primary objective is jack if either of them gets HoH.  jack and Erika tried to evesdrop on the conversation which was held on the back porch.

Jun and Jee did a little boxing, for some reason Jun did it in a towel and, you guessed it, the towel came off.  Justin finally helped her cover up and everyone was laughing about it.

In the evening Big Brother played salsa music and Robert/Erica did some more dancing.

The Hgs had a pizza party to celebrate the "halfway point" in the house.

1:15 pm Since everyone including Justin assumes he is gone.. I have created a page for him.  I have a ton of screen caps and i will try to create a page for each HG over the next couple of weeks.  For now CLICK HERE to see Justin's page.

12:45  pm Justin assumes he is going - and I assume he is as well.

12:40 pm - Interesting conversation between Justin and Robert.  It seems Justins lease is up so he has been giving the producers messages to pass on to the friend that is taking care of his finances.  Just things like telling him that he will be moving out of PA in January so not to sign him to a long term lease.  Some folks on other sites have implied this is giving them news - and its not really correct, simply put, this is the only reality show where people are tied up for such a long period of time and some things HAVE to be taken care of.  Another long running joke is about all the HGs being on medication.  Some indeed do take some medicines (Rob for his alergy, Jack currently taking Advil for his back) but they all take Vitamis, so they all get called into the diary room every day for those.

12:30  pm - everyone is FINALLY up - Robert, Jee and Justin were the last to roll out of bed to french toast prepared by Jun.

6 am - Once again all the HGs are asleep.....  I will fill in the blanks from yesterday soon, promise!!  (Done!!)  Not that there is a whole lot to fill in.  Nothing on the HGs agenday today that I am aware of.  Except perhaps boredom ;)

Late Night: The Hgs (all but Robert) had a few drinks last night and stayed up until just after 3 am.  Alison confirmed with Jee that she is voting to evict Justin, Jee says he might vote for Robert just so it is not 4-0, but wanted to make sure he would not mess up the vote.

Evening: Ali and Jun continued to discuss their "Alliance" - dubbed the "Dark Angels" by Ali.  Face it - everyone in here is working on extra alliances to the point that they are virtually meaningless until the next HoH is named.  Then they will ditch the "alliances" that are bad and keep the ones that are to their advantage.  For example, Ali is discussing teaming up with Jee/Robert - we you can bet that isn't gonna happen if Jack wins the next HoH.  So best to just worry about the main alliances - Jee3, Jack/Erika, and the new 7 tentative Ali/Jun.

Afternoon: Jun/Jee did a lot of talking, Jun told Jee that he and the rest of the Jee3 were kind of jerks when Justin was HoH.  They also talked about their relationship and were ply/fighting to keep people from getting suspicious, but it ended up being a real fight and took Jee a while to calm down.

Good Morning/Afternoon!!  The Veto Ceremony was held around 1pm and I am 99.9% Jun did not use it.  No one reacted once it was over.  Other than that it has really been a slow day - with nothing exciting on the horizon.  So get out and enjoy today!!!  :)
