8/16/04 Now that the Four/Five
horses have been beaten to death and the "Girl Power" alliance is shattered
- here is my look at the way the alliances shape up at the moment...
There
are three "Main" alliances today.
Three's Company - ok - I came up
with this name myself since I have not heard them refer to themselves by
a name. Yes - I have dated myself with the term but it seems appropriate.
Problem is chances are that Will (aka Jack) is going to be out Thursday
unless something changes leaving just Jennifer (aka Janet) and Karen (aka
Chrissy).
Romance - Diane and Drew - Ya know
Jase was right - outside the house this relationship isn't going to last
- but it seems strong enough (for now). They have discussed breaking
away from Adria and Natalie from time to time and Diane is the weak link
there.
Sisters - what can I say - everyone
knows these two are an alliance. It almost seems to me they have
had a more dificult time relating to the others in the house now that they
don't need to since they have each other to make sports analogies with.
Then there is the "Twin Power" alliance
- which sounded very cool after Scott got the boot, but the cracks are
developing already - Natalie and Diane don't care as much for Diane as
they do Drew - and Diane says she won't vote for Will to leave.
Which
brings us to the other 'alliances' - alright these are more of 'relationships.'
"Diane loves Will"
- yeah, silly but true - she 'loves' him in a non-romanic way and does
not want to see him leave.
"Use Me" Alliance -
what else do you call Michael's relationship with the Twins? Since
Jase left he has seemed more like a watch dog than a competitor in the
game.
"Alliance of One"
- Marvin is still in the house and it looks like he will be for yet another
week. My guess is that he will last even longer than that depending
on who gets HoH - he is not seen as having any strong ties in the house
so he might continue to fly under the radar each week as the other HGs
try to pick off the Hgs they see as more of a threat......
