7/19/05   Big Brother 6 Episode #5 - PAGE 1 (Page-2, 3, 4)

Hello - welcome to my recap of Episode #5 of BB6.  I will be recapping the show as I watch it - my apologies for typos and grammer errors - its a one-man site - what can I say??

A recap of the last show - where Eric nominates Michael and Janelle.  Who will win the POV ans what will happen as tension builds inside the house (gee - a fight maybe - ya think??).

Opening credits and then we see Michael and Janelle nominated.  Again we hear Eric's public explination for the nominations.  Then we hear Eric say he can't trust Michael because of the company he is keeping (Kaysar??) - and that Janelle is a 'strong player' and he knows that he (Eric) would have been put up had Janelle won HoH. 

Maggies (Eric's partner) thinks he did a good job with nominations and she supports him 150%.  Eric says it was strategic and Maggie leaves the HoH room,  Ivette comes in and hugs him, then April.....  Janelle and Michael went off alone in the Gold Room (just as Eric says he expected).
 

Michael and Janelle rip on Eric for his 'leadership' - Michael calls everyone else "sheep" - and makes a 'baaaing' noise. Eric explains to Kaysar that Michael is out of control and that is why Eric wants him out.  Kaysar tells the camera that he is frustrated and that Eric is coming out the hero for nominating Michael. Michael tells the camera that he would take a bullet for Kaysar - Kaysar tells the camera that Michael is a liability.  Kaysar knows that if he tries to help Michael he will become a target.

Beau joins Michael and Janelle in the Gold Room and Michael spills the beans - that he had an agreement with Eric, Kaysar and James to go to the final four.  Beau goes and pulls Eric aside and tells Eric that Michael is lobbying against Eric - it is unclear if Beau tells Eric about the agreement Michael says he and Eric had.

On to less serious stuff.....  a bodybuilding contest between some of the guys.  Eric relates that he used to be a competative body builder.    We see James flex and Sarah drool.  Howie flex, commenting that he is 'not all that but pretty close."

Now we see April coaching Janelle not to save Michael if she gets POV - because she will go in his place. April asks Janelle why she hangs around with Michael - that he freaks her (April) out.  Janelle tells the camera that Eric has brainwashed everyone to dislike Michael and she wont let him do it to her.... Janelle says that April is a liar and she doesn't believe anything that comes out of her mouth.  April tells the camera that she can't believe Janelle has not noticed Michael's actions....

Commercial

Now we see the apparent beginnings of the confrontation that actually happened Saturday night.  Michael is in the kitchen area just staring at Eric - who tells him that he can stare all night and it won't bother him (Eric).  Michael tells the BB camera that no one can look him in the eye (because of how they are railroading him).  Michael tells Eric that he is not trying to intimidate him.  Eric replys that no one in this world intimidates him, not a soul.

The staring contest continues - Maggie tells them they are both guilty and both being stupid.  Michael tells the BB camera that he thinks Eric is indeed intimidate by him based on his reaction to just being stared at (stuttering a lil, etc).  Michael says if 'we' win the POV competition he (Eric) has a reason to be scared.
