Today it appears one of the fish died or took seriously ill.

Some of the women noticed it on its side on the bottom of the tank and were quite upset (to the point of tears).  Eventually Big Brother put the Houseguests on an outside lockdown so the staff could attend to the dead/dying lil guy.

Upon the Houseguest's return there seemed to be very little discussion about their finned friend (apparently named 'Bently').

The fish have been used in the Big Brother House since Big Brother 4 and while there have been instances where viewers have spotted sick fish, this is the first year where it appears the Houseguest's themselves are responsible for the care and feeding of the fish. On a lighter note, Eric did ask that if the fish was indeed dead could they cook it and eat it?  Desperate times call for desperate measures for those on PB & J.
