7/11/05   POV contest was Saturday, POV Ceremony was Sunday, the results....

To catch any of you stragglers up on the "important" goings on in the house.  Saturday Rachel won the POV in a contest that seemed to involved ropes and a lot of crawling.  The contest itself took place Saturday and will most likely be shown on TV this Tuesday.

The participants in the POV contest were the 2 nominees, the HoH and 3 more (each person picked an additional one to hopefully work to help them).   Rachel picked Maggie, Ashlea picked Howie and Kaysar picked Eric (from various sources - the POV competition is 'blacked out' to net viewers).

From what I have gathered Ashlea was never really in it - it sounds like the pairs really needed to help each other out and Howie had some difficulties and Ashlea was no help.  Another report has it that Kaysar had some serious breathing issues but did compete very well.  In the end Rachel won the POV.
 

It seems that the POV ceremony itself was Sunday and it was very low key - lasting just a few minutes.  So much of a non-issue that the houseguest's barely discussed it afterwards. This will most likely also be shown this coming Tuesday with the eviction of either Kaysar or Ashlea coming Thursday and a new HoH contest.
