Warning - if you only watch the TV show and for some strange reason want to be surprised tommow - hit the "Back" button quickly - cause Iam going to spill the beans on the worst kept 'secret' on Big Brother this year.

Still with me?  Ok - don't say I didn't warn you........

The 'secret' pairs was a way to apparently spice things up this year.  There are fourteen houseguests but chances are only seven (at most) actually applied for the show.
 

The reason for the pairs is that if, and only if, the final two people in the house are one of the 'pairs' - the winner will get a Million dollars (up from the previous sum o 500k).  The odds of that happenng?  Slim to none. While CBS has not officially revealed the pairs, they say they will tommorow.  Problem is the HGs themselves - or many of them - have already figgured out the pairings.

Just this morning Rachel and Howie went over the pairs that most agree are accurate (Rachel and Howie being two of the pairs as has been confirmed in the press).

So here ya go folks - the 'pairs' and what info (sometimes very little) I know about each - I know there is more info floating around out there but frankly I have been too busy to dig it up and does it REALLY matter?
 
 

Howie	Rachel		Eric	Maggie
Howie applied for BB and listed Rachel as one of six possible teamates.  Obviously she accepted - they are friends.			Eric used to live in Las Vegas, where Maggie lists her home.  Speculation is that these two may in fact be brother and sister.

 

Michael	Kaysar		James	Sarah
Michael and Kaysar share an apartment or a house.  It is unclear to me which one of them originally applied for the show but my suspicion would be that it was Michael.			James and Sarah are at the very least boyfriend and girlfriend.  It might be more than that - they have been seen on camera exchanging kisses and touches when they thought no one was looking.

 

Janelle	Ashlea		Ivette	Beau
I am not personally sure of the exact connection here (yet) - but this one is also pretty much agreed upon.			Beau has been pretty open that he spends a lot of time in the diner that Ivette worked at.  This was the first pair that most of the HG's figgured out.

 

April	Jennifer
Like Janelle and Ashlea - the direct connection between these two isn't extemely clear to me - but there is very little doubt they are a pair based on their actions in the house.

The most interesting thing I have seen with the 'pairs' up until tonight is the way that Michael and Janelle seem to be sticking together.  Some have claimed romance but I see it as the two partners of the two nominated people sticking together to a certain extent. 

Since we have to assume the HGs know about the extra prize for making the final two as a pair, and most, if not all of the HGs now know that they are not the only pairs in the house, expect a divide and conquer attitude from some of the more devious HGs.

The initial teams (PB&J vs Non-PB&J) were this....

PB&J:          Ivette, Kaysar, Eric, Jennifer, Beau, Ashlea, and Michael
Non PB&J: James, Sarah, April, Howie, Janelle, Maggie and Rachel

Obviously Kaysar had no one in Rachel's camp to defend him from being nominated, what is surprising is that Janelle didn't push harder to keep Ashlea from being put up on the block.
