7:30pm  Ok - trying to catch up.....  Howie and Janelle feel Beau is more of the threat than Ivette (Ivette has never won anything).  But they think that April and Maggie will vote to evict Ivette (only three votes this time).  They discussed getting the POV and taking off Ivette and putting up Maggie to assure Beau goes.

Maggie and Ivette moan and groan - the losing side always complains after the show.

Maggie and April bash the HoH competition - that if it had been a quiz they would have won (umm - Janelle has done very well on the quiz competitions).

5:58pm Ivette and Beau Nominated - the POV will probably be tommorow and the eviction and new HoH tommorow as well (just like when Janelle won).

5:50pm Howie won HoH

5:40pm James Evicted 4-0

1:30pm  Hmmm - it will not be a Q&A HoH competition - it is some kind of skill competition and it sounds like it.  Maggie and April plot behind the Nomination Chairs while James walks by...

 

1:15pm  HGs are on an inside lockdown while BB prepares the back yard for tonight's show.  Sounds like they will be having a rehearsal now.  Cams go to fish.

10:30am  James and Howie are up - but thats it - BB is letting the HGs sleep in it seems.

6:30am  Lots of talking last night but little substance.  Finally things will get busy soon - today will be cleaning and a rehearsal for the live show.  Tonight will be very busy with the new HoH probably having to make nominations - perhaps live - if not sometime after the live show airs.

On a side note - CNN is ticking me off - this morning they seem to be focusing on fear - Soledad O'brien said that the situation in New Orleans seemed worse than the aftermath of the tsunami from December (She implied that the relief efforts after the tsunami were better coordinated than the current efforts here). That's a load of crap if you ask me (and I know you didn't) - The concentration of the media in Louisiana/Mississippi compared to that in the Indian Ocean area after the tsunami is probably a hundred fold.  I am in NO WAY trying to minimize the devastation in Louisiana and Mississippi - but news organizations need to report the news and STOP editorializing and sensationalizing these events - stick to the facts and report the news.  I am tired of hearing CNN or other media outlets try to analyze 'what went wrong' or 'why weren't we better prepared' - at this point things just need to be DONE - stop trying to point fingers where people still need help!!!  Soledad O'brien s coming off as a little too 'self important' this morning to me.

The friendship alliance is very serious about this week's HoH competition - they are conspiring to keep Janelle and Howie apart so they can't review.

The HGs got more quarters and apparently won a few items...  Janlle got a "Jenga" game - Beau gor a Bedazzler, and Ivette won a caterred dinner - the HGs chose Japanese food - so thats what they had for dinner.  Oh - Maggie (I think) won a clay set of some type.

5:10pm  The biggest news in the house was the picture taking today - seriously - until tommorow all the HGs are doing is talking bad about whomever is out of earshot!! 

12:50pm  Nothing to big report - some of the HGs are trying to memorize all kinds of facts about the house in anticipation of another 'quiz' type of HoH competition. If BB doesn't give them a game to practice soon you can assume that it will be a quiz - I doubt it will be an endurance at this point - most likely there will be one more of those on the 15th when I have projected the final 3 HGs will be fighting it out for HoH.

Someone asked me if any of the Hgs have family in the area affected by the hurricane. They recalled that Monica was affected directly by 911 - losing a cousin.  Off the top of my head there are no current HGs that have ever mentioned family in Louisiana or Mississippi.

6am  James is up and about - I imagine he will go back to bed sometime soon - late last night Howie decided to take care of personal matters in privacy - so he climbed in a storage box out on the patio and... well...  that is all I will say about it...

5pm  Article - Will the live feeds be blocked this weekend?

3pm  How is this for a tease?  I spoke with Arnold Shapiro's office and CBS today (two different calls) - will they block the feeds again this weekend?  The answer later on tonight....   Mwhahahahaha  ;)

Its been another slow day in the house - TV show tonight!!

9:50am  YAWN.....  Sorry folks - I honestly have been checking up on the feeds but you haven't missed a darn thing.  James is so gone even he doesn't seem to be trying to get the others to consider Howie - he is actually more concerned about who goes out next - begging that it NOT be April because he doesn't want ot have to deal with her in seclusion.  Its Tuesday......  the live show is Thursday...  THATS when things are going to heat up - with 2 evictions before the weekend is out and chances are we will know if the 'friendship' alliance will win or not - if either Janelle or Howie leaves on Friday (after James) - or a Friendship alliance member wins either of the next two "HOH's" then chances are they are a lock to win the show (Beau, Maggie, Ivette or April).  Maybe CBS has one more secret up its sleeve.

1:30pm  James is now up for nomination - as expected April saved Janelle and nominated James.  James expects to go home Thursday. Ivette is not happy that James will probably be going.  Of course as April says - it was in Ivette's best interest for James to stay.

5:50am  Last night was pretty calm the biggest new to report would be that umm Howie took care of some personal issues - and thats all I will say about that - errrr - he released some built-up tension.......  POV ceremony should be later today and James should find himself on the block and Janelle will be 'safe' - if anyone can save themself before  Thursday it would be James.

April cannot believe that "America" would vote for Janelle to get the call - Maggie said that Janelles mom must feel terrible that Janelle didn't pick her, etc etc.....

12:15pm  Nope - not yet - HGs were just told about it - thats why they were all gathered - I think they got to see the announcement on the TV - so now they are all being called in one at a time to the Diary Room to record their thoughts on getting a call BEFORE they reveal who gets it - might be later today or tonight before they actually get it - BB might want to record some more of them gossiping about who they hope gets it before they reveal the winner.

12pm  It appears the HGs are getting ready to do the "America's Choice" phone call - not sure when BB told tham that someone was going to get a phone call - but they know now.  They don't know who is getting it yet.  It appears that they just showed the HGs the advertisement that was played for the HGs.

1:30pm  Apparently April won the POV and Janelle won some type of trip - As of this writing April is planning on using the POV and putting up James in Janelle's place (since Janelle has been up more than Howie).

11am  POV contest might be underway....  I will update this when I know something - here is a tiny view of part of it (it is blocked on the feeds of course).

6:45pm  Already things are 'twisting' a little - Ivette and Maggie are talking about possibly working to keep James in the house (this is her idea - Maggie seems willing to support the idea).  The HGs thought there might be a new secret when they got back in thehouse because they found the flashlight - but after looking for a bit it seems they gave up.

6pm  Howie and Janelle are up on the block apparently (so ignore my musings below)...  the plan appears to be to 'backdoor' James if possible.

12pm - Try this on for a scenerio - the house says it wants to 'back door' James - so April talked about nominating Howie and Janelle - then no one choosing James for the POV - then putting him up assuming it is won and Janelle or Howie comes down.  What if......  Janelle and Howie convince April to put up one of their own next to say Howie... lets say it is Ivette - whom has volunteered for the dangerous mission of "pawn" before.  Now.....  here comes the POV competition.....  Janelle competes for Howie and wins it...  Janelle saves Howie and April nominates James in her place...  So James vs Ivette on the block...  only three votes needed to evict...  think James, Janelle and Howie could convince Maggie to vote out 1/2 of the last pair?  Might make for an interesting week!!!

11:45 am - well it looks like another week without the PB&J diet - sheesh these guys have it easy. Did y anotice they get to use a washing machine this year too?  This is the first year that has been the case - they had a dryer in previous years but had to wash their clothes by hand.

10:40am  With Rachel gone it looks like the new early riser might be James.  he is up and working out - all the other HGs still appear to be sleeping - maybe we have seen the last of the food competitions - wow - Janelle has had once chance so far to use that "pass" - what a bonus!!

6am - Another note - after 2 weeks without a food competition - there will probably be one today - since there are less people in the BB house and it will make for something to watch.

5:52am  It does sound like the Friendship group wants to 'backdoor' James to get him out - funny thing is Howie and Janelle almost sound like they don't want to do it because they are just plain grumpy about being on the side that is in bad shape. I am sure though when push comes to shove they will do it.  It would be funny though to see Howie or Janelle pick James to participate just to be a pain in the rear - then again if he did - and won - April would have to put up someone (lemme guess - Ivette as a 'pawn') - then see Janelle, James (ohh - a test of friendship) and Howie beg to get her voted out (beg Maggie) - if they did it it would be a tie vote at the least and April would have to toss out someone.

Janelle is upset that she lost HoH - she had calculated the # of pucks at over 100 earlier in the week (I even remember reading that).  When I saw that question I remembered and thought maybe BB had designed it for her - but she screwed up and missed it.
