9/8/05 10:30pm  Late night snack for the friendship 3 - and they are bickering about something to do with the bathroom.  Maggie is laughing at Ivette and April going back and forth...  it seems light  - but another part of it seems like April and Ivette are getting on each other's nerves.  Janelle is no where to be seen but earlier was listening to a CD in her room.

8:55pm  Janelle has been let into the HoH room - and she has invited the others to sleep in there - and they accepted.  The three remaining "friendship" members then go back outside and agree that she (Janelle) is only doing it to get on their good side and because it is the only way she thinks she will have a chance to win.  They also agree it means nothing - but they will take her up on her offer of course :)

8:30pm  MEOW!!!  Cattyness as expected.  April and Maggie were just talking outside (Janelle is in the Diary Room - I think she will get in the HoH room soon).  April says something to the effect that Ivette told her that she (April) should have cheated in the HoH competition (perhaps she could see Janelle in the mirros - I am not sure) - April said she didn't, she looked down - Maggie says something about how they know Janelle has cheated in  the past and nothing happenned to her but they won't play that way (Janelle cheated??  Huh?).  Shortly after Ivette joined them and they talked about the possibility of a shopping spree on Sunday (just a guess by them). 7:30pm The remaining HGs ate dinner and there is very little game talk all things considered. The three remaining 'friendship' alliance members are of course worried about who might be nominated but two of them will be going up.  I would say at this point that April and Maggie have a stronger bond that Ivette has with either (since last week Ivette still had Beau).  Right now Ivette is no where to be seen - Janelle is off by herself and April and Maggie are watching the fish.  Kinda funny when you think about how much WE hate seeing them.

6:30pm  I'll post an update on the live feeds shortly - currently there is a lot of Janelle butt-kissing going on.

3:30pm  Now all the ladies seem to be getting ready for tonight's show.  Next time I post will probably be during the live show with updates on who goes and who wins HoH.

3pm  I am really getting the feeling that Howie is heading out tonight - the mood just seems too resolved to be anything but that.  No arguing - everyone getting along.  If Ivette was going to betray April I would expect her to be upset about the possibility and she seems very calm.

The remaining HGs in the house talking about relationships - no 'gameplay' talk at all.

12:30pm  Hgs are all up and about now and the cleaning ritual has begun - sweep the house, clean the windows, etc.  Still not even the slightest hint if Janelle or Howie has said anything to Ivette.  Ivette should be moving out of the HoH very soon.

Maggie and April pack up in the HoH bathroom - Ivette does the same in the HoH Bedroom.

10:40am  HoH Competition revealed - looks like the one where a circle is divided in three and we see the HGs from overhead.  If it is the same as previous years it will be another Quiz type HoH comp.

9:40am  Howie got up - took some medicine - and.....  went back to bed.

7:30am  Still a house full of sleeping HGs.  I am trying my second attempt to guess the remaining schedule - there are only five shows left including tonights.  I am thinking the big endurance HoH competition will be next Tuesday - details here.

6:30am...  There will be an America's Choice announced tonight and the winner gets to visit the set and watch a taping of "Two and a Half men."

Last year Marvin won a tiny spot on Young and the Restless Guiding Light (oops thanks Diane!!) - CBS has said they will show the winner on Saturday - I am trying to figgure out the logistics of announcing it tonight - getting the winner to the show and back and getting it all edited by Saturday - I would have expected it to be Tuesday - but - then again I guess the show is probably taping tommorow night so the voting period may be very short.  My money is on Janelle to win - and the rest of the house to be really mad about it - lol.

6:15am  With a house full of sleeping HGs today will be the most exciting day since Saturday on the feeds.  I don't think the HoH will be an endurance competition but there is a slight chance we might have yet another double eviction announced.  There is not a show next Thursday - it is instead on Friday and no show on Saturday.  Then as far as I can tell there is only one more show.  Last year there was an eviction on the last Thursday and Saturday and the winner was announced on the following Tuesday.  BB needs to eliminate two more people after tonight with only three shows apparently left (including the final one).  So unless they double up next Friday we may see an eviction every show from here on out.

6:00am Howie and Janelle fell asleep around 3am - and they fell asleep with Howie quizzing Janelle on BB stuff.

6pm  What have you missed?  Nada - unless you want to listen to Maggie, Ivette and April talk about lots of boring topics (shopping, what the people outside the house think of them, how proud their families must be of them, etc etc etc) - mixed in with the occasional bash/name calling of Janelle.  Don't think I am giving Janelle a free pass here - she does toss out the occasional name at the ladies - but with only Howie to listen it means things are a little more quiet from that alliance.

11:40am  The cluelessness of the Hgs never ceases to amaze me.  If you ever try to apply for Big Brother DON'T tell them you have been a fan forever - or at least don't tell them you have ever watched the live feeds.  I am currently listening to April and Maggie talk about how they can't believe how much stuff Ivette talks about in the house - that they both have things they don't want to get out publicly.  Maggie is the smarter of the two when it comes to this - April proceeds to drop hints about her sister - obviusly April and her sister have some issues - April also goes on to talk about Ivette and Ivette's mom whom apparently Ivette has said has issues with gambling.  Earth to April - assume EVERYTHING you say in the Big Brother house will be made public - not just what CBS decides to air.  Ya goofballs!!!  (Howie just joined them - conversation changes of course)

11:15am  Everyone is up - well awake anyways.  Janelle and Howie were just told to get up - but they aren't moving too fast.  The Friendship alliance has been out on the patio chatting away - mostly about non BB stuff.  April is currently trying to work out how the final schedule is going to go.  I am trying to do the same thing myself since there is no show a week from Thursday (It is instead on Friday) - so the schedule this time can't follow the one they used last year.

Once again Ivette and April are talking about the previous seasons of BB and trying to remember what happened. April has also again talked about winning the money - that if they win they will have done it the 'right' way as opposed to others in the house I gues (Jannelle?) - Hypocrisy seems to be her middle name some times.  I have said it before and I will say it again - I don't 'dislike' April or Ivette or Maggie - but there are times when they drive me nuts when they rationalize why they are 'right' and others are wrong.  As Janelle said last night on the tv show - they need to remember they are playing a game.

7am  A house full of sleeping hamsters....

The rest of the night last night was un-eventful when it comes to gameplay.  I did find the conversation interesting on the show last night where Ivette seemed to be proposing geting rid of April - I never remember seeing that on the feeds - chances are it might have NOT been shown.  Either way that was the closest I have seen Ivette go to commiting to vote out April and things sure don't look that way now.  The other night Howie and Janelle had a one-on-one about the same topic and Ivette didn't seem receptive at all - and chances are the conversation that was shown on TV last night happened before the one I reported.  But thats why I watch the show  - to see how CBS weaves a story or tries to create drama.

2pm  A slow day in the BB house.  I think the HGs may have recorded their 'farewell' messages to Howie and April today but I am not positive.  Everyone is just having a regular old day.  Outside Janelle and Howie discuss the possibilities - Howie knows his chances are slim but he says he stands a better chance being up against April than he would have against Maggie. Howie and Janelle talk about how Howie might save himself yet this week.

8am Hgs all soundly sleeping  - Howie was up very early working out - the nominated HGs always seem to have problems sleeping.

Late last night Maggie, Ivette and April had a discussion where Ivette told the other two she would be ok with just winning the second place money of $50,000 - so for now it sounds like Howie's chances are very very slim.

So the only major happening today was the POV ceremony when Janelle saved herself and Ivette put up April.

Unless Big Brother treats the HG's to a shopping spree (they are hoping for one) or some other luxury challenge - it may be a slow week.

7:15pm I guess the HGs didn't get their dinner until just now - McDonalds all around - Howie says it is better than sex.  And for the record he has his Big Macs PLAIN (huh? why have a Big Mac then?).

6:45pm Ivette, Maggie and April are sitting around chatting about Howie and Janelle - each saying why they might be more of a target - ughh - this is getting a bit old - I want to see Howie and Janelle corner Ivette...  hopefully it will happen tonight (although I think it would be better to wait).  These guys are obsessed with quizzing each other on things in the house in preparation for future competitions.

6pm  Not a lot went on this afternoon - Howie and Janelle will in theory approach Ivette later on tonight about trying to get her to vote out April - who knows if it will work - they have until Thursday - if you ask me they shouldn't give her too much time to think about it - it would seem to be smarter to hit her with it on the day of the show and just work this week to increase mis-trust between Ivette and April.

Hgs got McDonalds for dinner - oh - thats right - still no food competition since the first time Howie was HoH (ya know 3 or 4 weeks ago).

12:32pm  April is now nominated with Howie.
 

12:30pm  POV ceremony is over...  not sure who is up now yet... 11am Ivette, April and Maggie are up - but they just took up where they left off last night - talking about Janelle and how they need to win the Next HoH so they can eliminate her.  Howie and Janelle are sleeping. The POV ceremony should be sometime today - I won't be posting much today as it is one of my boy's birthdays - but it is pretty safe to assume that Janelle will be using the POV and my guess is Ivette will put up April - but she might put up Maggie - they seem pretty confident that it doesn't matter because the one not nominated will vote for Howie and Ivette will breaka tie and vote Howie out on Thursday.

Looking ahead - Big Brother will NOT be on the night of Sept 15th - thats the season premiere of Survivor.  It will be on the next night (Friday).  So my guess at a schedule of the rest of Big Brother will need to be re-worked.... 

11:15pm  Ivette did get a hot oil treatment and is happy about that.  No POV still as far as I can tell - Currently Howie, April and Janelle are talking in the bathroom - April says she knows Howie is going - she says she feels bad - Howie says no hard feelings.

7:15pm  Correction - its some burn cream on here forhead I think.  More details here.

6:50pm  Ivette is back out from the diary room.  She has a bandage on her forehead but otherwise seems fine.  Here is a picture of the grill blowing up posted by Pokey_ally at tvclubhouse.

 

6:20pm  Apparently the gas grill sorta blew up on Ivette - she is being tended to in the Diary Room.  Nothing super bad but they are checking her out.  I'll post any pics if I see them. 5:45pm  No PoV ceremony yet - maybe they won't have it until tommorow.  It has been a very lazy day in the BB house - the girls have discussed shopping and ebay and general chit chat.  They think they will have a luxury shopping spree sometime soon. 3:30pm  Biggest news to report this afternoon is that Maggie told April she would go on the block if April wanted (Maggie would) - April said she was ok with going up - and even possibly leaving.  I don't think that will happen though - the 'friendship' alliance seems commited to voting Howie out.  Time will tell.

1:30pm  April and Maggie are working out - Ivette and Howie talking out on the patio area - Janelle is sunning herself I think.  I don't think Howie will approach Ivette with the possibility of voting out April (assuming she is put up after the POV ceremony) until after it has happened.  They have until Thursday anyways - no hurry.

12:10pm  April, Maggie and Ivette are outside while Howie and Janelle are still sleeping.  Janelle, April and Maggie are almost convinced that Janelle has an inside edge on the game.  They think she is much more of a fan than she let on.  They feel she knows much too much about the Big Brother game.  Last night April implied several times that she things BB allowed Janelle to do the POV contest more than once or something - she pretty much implies that the producers are letting her win things.  While going over the eviction order they include Howie as being evicted - guess they pretty much assume he is gone now.

11:55am  HGs finally started getting up in the last 40 minutes or so - only thing that should happen today is the POV ceremony.  Thats just a guess - last time they had a double eviction the POV ceremony was on Monday - but perhaps with Labor Day weekend they are trying to get eveyrthing done faster.  Janelle obviously will use the POV and my guess for now is that Ivette will put up April.

Wow - now 17 people have signed up for the live feeds since Wednesday!!  Thanks - that now makes $170 I'll be donating - I'll announce the final total tommorow.

11:30pm  I wonder if the Gold Room is sealed off now - haven't seen anyone in it lately (nevermind - I saw it later on)... Ivette says that the worst thing that could have happened was for Janelle to win the POV.  Ivette called Howie in the HoH room with April and Maggie to tell him they were sorry (Janelle is in the Diary Room).

11:00  pm  Feeds just came back - Janelle won POV (That was the reason the feeds didn't come back right away).  Howie and Janelle are nominated - Howie will most likely go home - but they are going to try to get whomever Ivette puts up in Janelle's place voted out (Ivette will most likely break a tie).

10:20pm  Still no live feeds - at this point I am guessing that somethign is going on in the house that CBS does not want us to see.  Perhaps Ivette had a meltdown, maybe Howie went berzerk...  Or maybe they are just getting to watch a movie.  Another guess is that perhaps the POV competition is going on (I expected it to be tommorow but maybe they are doing it at night for a change).

9:45pm  Still nothing - not only do they keep us in the dark - and do a lousy job by letting us see Holly before the blackout and see Beau missing this morning - but now they haven't turned the feeds back on yet as promised.  The Real Player announcement is that the feeds were to return at 9pm Pacific - it hasn't happened yet. 

9:12pm  Still fish on the feeds - (grumble) - on the positive side as of now I will be donating $120 to the Red Cross towards the Hurricane Relief.

9pm  Feeds should be back on any minute - then I will confirm if Janelle and Howie have been nominated as expected.  Of course it might take a while since nominations were probably hours ago and they might not even mention them for quite awhile.

8pm No the feeds are not back yet - but I just finished watching the show - Janelle screwed up bad on the quiz - but it was curious to see some questions - usually HGs competing have not been part of the questions - but they were this time - and since 3 of the 4 competing HGs have been camping out together every day it isn't much of a surprise that they won against Janelle.  I don't think Howie will win - BUT - I do think the remaining HGs may try to keep him in so they don't have to face one of their teamates in the final 2.

5:55pm  So Ivette won HoH - you can bet that she will nominate (or rather HAS nominated) Howie and Janelle and most likely Janelle will be leaving on Thursday. That pretty much wraps things up for the 'friendship' alliance - unless something really weird happens either Ivette, April or Maggie is going to win BB6.  Beau's eviction tonight also means no one will win the Million - only $500k again this year.

5pm  The TV show is now on the East coast - but the feeds will not return until after it airs on the West coast.  I will update who went (I think it is Beau) and who won HoH as soon as I know.

3:15pm  Looks like around 10am or so today CBS let the cat out of the bag a little - Beau might be evicted as feeds briefly appeared to show Ivette with the others on camera.  Can't say for sure - but my guess is Beau is gone.  No guess on the new HoH though.

3:20pm  Just wanted to share this e-mail I got yesterday - Here is one more reason I am mad that CBS is blocking the feeds again:

2:30pm  Nothing to report - feeds are blacked out until Saturday after the west coast show again it seems.  I'll keep my eye's peel for any news though!!!

10:20am - One last bit of info before I am gone for a bit.  Looks like Holly from BB5 will be the 'surprise guest' (oh lord) - she is out back playing with cards - perhaps a Texas Holdem tourney?  These two pics caught by Hamsterlady and Dan at TVClubhouse.

 

10:00am Hgs are still waiting to being the POV and then the feeds may be off until tommorow night (details here).  If so - chances are one of these two will be gone the next time the feeds are on.

9:30am  Hgs are waiting for the POV contest - the second that starts the feeds will probably be blocked again.  Howie and Janelle are quizzing each other about facts of the house thinking they will be asked things like that.

That light saber thing is COOL - I didn't know it had sound effects.

6:20am HGs are all soundly sleeping.  THe POV contest today is going to be low stress for some. Howie and Janelle don't particularly care who goes - Howie wants Beau out because he feels he is a better player (since Ivette hasn't won anything) - Janelle would like to see Ivette go but says she will do that if she gets HoH next.  I will be checking in with CBS this morning to verify that they have no plans to completely block the feeds today/tommorow like they did last time there was a 'double eviction.  The feeds will be blocked quite a bit today either way since they always block it for POV (contest and ceremony) and the 'live' show.  But hopefully they will let us peek in for a few seconds during to day to see what is up and after the taping of the live show they will turn them back on.

Overnight - Review review review - all the HGs were reviewing things in anticipation of a quiz - either for the POV or the next HoH competition that will happen later today after the eviction (the eviction and HoH will be taped today for airing tommorow).  As you would expect the house is divided up by pairs Ivette/Beau, Maggie/April and Howie/Janelle.

When Howie got into his HoH room he found light sabers (think Star Wars) and the HGs played with them for much of the evening.
