Earlier - looks like the "Sov3" have almost given up on having a chance to win - they see the numbers and know their chances are slim - April at the least has shared with them the notion of backdooring James this coming week.

5:50am  Apparently Julie will announce a new "America's Choice" tonight - I doubt it will be a HG returning so maybe we will all get to decide who gets a Chia Pet.......

No big news to report....  I think it might actually still be up on the air on who is going tonight.  I'll try to see if anyone discusses it.  The original plan was for Howie to go but the house has been pretty calm this week and everyone knows Rachel would rather go than Howie.  Since the vote will be live it is just impossible to say who is going unless I see a discussion where 3 people say who they are voting off (5 votes tonight).  I have now slept - well - crashed hard might be a better description.

12:50pm  Nothing going on - the vote is going to be live this week I think so today is even slower than normal - some plotting may happen this evneing but for the day so far things have bene very calm.  I on the other habd have not slept since yesterday so I am a wee bit loopy.....  darn work.... haven't even watched last nights show yet.  grumble grumble...

3am  The HGs are all sound asleep - wish I could say the same...  All I see on my check of the feeds is that Maggie finally realized that James knows he can't win by sticking with them (the friendship) - others in the group told her they figgured that out a while ago.  So even though the SOV3 (or whatever you want to call Howie/Rachel/Janelle) are losing someone - chances are James will now be forced to buddy up with them - or keep trying to play the middle with Ivette - but I suspect Maggie won't put up with it much longer (assuming she has a say - Ivette might target her herself).

2:45pm  Sloow slowwww day....  hardly any strategy.....  just some sniping between hgs backs..  Rachel wants Janelle to vote for her to leave.

12pm  HGs are on an outsie lockdown - most actually just got up and moving so there really hasn't been anything to report.

7am  I forgot to mention - looks like the vote will be live on Thursday - which means the HGs have 2 1/2 days to do ummm nothing?  Rachel wants to go - Howie wants to stay - question is will the Friendship alliance grant them their respective wishes?  As of right now I would say no - even though Howie seems to be willing to do just about anything to stay in the house.

6:40am  HGs are all sleeping

As for last night - that was about it for the night - Howie left the HoH room - the 'nerd herd,' as the others have nicknamed them, over-analyzed things for a while - meanwhile Howie and Janelle quized each other on things in the house - those two are almost always going over things in the house for competitions.

11pm  What would YOU be willing to do to stay in the BB house?  Tonight Howie fed ice cream using his mouth not once - but twice - in exchange for staying in the house - the HoH crew watched it both times but requested the second shot because the camera in their room was too far a view (Click any picture below to enlarge). 10:30pm  Howie and Rachel are not sure which of them is going - Rachel says she will go crazy if she stays.  Meanwhile up in the HoH campsite - Maggie says that Janelle related a story where she supposebly gave some fake currency that she took from some kind of set to a bum.  This leads to a complete bash fest of Janelle by everyone in the room.  This house is really ugly some nights - and as I have said before - it goes both ways.  Ahhh - there is the comment by Maggie, "I just feel so bad for her family."  (psst - then stop bad mouthing her Maggie) - Now they discuss how THEIR families sent them things to remind them of home and all Janelle's mom sent her was Mary Kay stuff and a Sweatsuit

9:15pm  James - oh James....  listen to this folks - the man is a plotting - and even if he is just toying with Howie and Janelle - it sure sounds possible.  James is proposing getting rid of Maggie next week if possible - then James will work with them and Ivette to get out April next....  of course I still think Howie is gone this week - but Rachel could fit into this plan just as well.

6:45pm  The HGs are playing the compliment game....  you play that by complimenting everyone you talk to - tell them how great they are - especially in the game - that they are really playing it well and are sure to get far.  Then move on to the next person and say the same thing - continue until you end up in the Diary Room where you explain why YOU are playing a great game....  just general chit chat - I'm keeping my eyes out for more confirmation that Howie is leaving.

3:15pm Just a lil something for perspective.....  everyone seems to be getting along ok this afternoon - Rachel thinks she is going home - but last I heard it will be Howie.

2pm  James didn't use the POV.  Sounds like there was some ropework involved in the POV - maybe this was a combo of previous cmpetitions.  What the discrepancy is about is that according to some everyone but James was under the impression some knots had to be untied - and everyone but James did that.  Either way his POV win is apparently still valid so its yet another question never answered and the BB game rolls on.

10:30am  Still nothing to report....  the POV ceremony should be today and unless BB throws something 'fun' out there for them today it may be a very boring day.

9am  Rachel is up - alone - as usual.......  Can you picture this house in 10 days if some of the HGs get their way?  Howie gone this week and James the next?  5 women and Beau left in the house?  I thought Drew and Cowboy alone in the house was bad - or Allison and Jun....  At least Josh, Eddie and Curtis had some drunken fun.  This might well be "the most boring final month in Big Brother History" (afterall everything on reality shows is 'the most' or 'the biggest' or 'the most shocking.').

6:10am  All HGs sleeping - not a lot to report from my last note last night (sorry folks - we are back to a boring week it seems - probably will be this way until next Thursday). 

Ivette has told James he needs to talk to Maggie more - in an effort it  seems to keep his butt off the block (Maggie wants him out asap).

There may have been a controversy over the POV competition - It seems that at least Howie and Janelle think that James didn't follow some rule - and since he only won by 4 seconds (and beat Janelle) that BB might take his POV away.  I have to say I doubt that will happen - but until the POV ceremony is over ya never know.

The funniest thing I saw about last night is that April was talking about Janelles's hair extensions and musing over how much they cost - sounding suspiciously like she might get them for herself when the show is over.

8:20pm More times fromt he POV contest - Howie: 6:20 - Beau: 6:37.  James time was about half of April's.  Beau does not want James to use the POV. 

6:15pm  The POV competition was something that involved water - it was a timed event..  Rachel said she took 8 minutes - Janelle says she took 3....  dunno what Jame's time was.  The HGs were also on an outside lockdown and when they came in the table had been changed...

Rachel wants to be voted out before Howie and she is worried that Howie will be voted out.

4:20pm James apparently did compete and won the POV.  Even if he used it Beau would most likely just put up Janelle so looks like Rachel or Howie (or maybe Janelle) are going on sequester Thursday - won't Jennifer be excited to see them - lol.

3:15pm  We still have fish - this must have been a long POV competition OR something else is up - perhaps the POV winner had to use it right away so they can get the tape ready for Tuesdays show.

1pm  It appears that the POV competition has been going on for at least 90 minutes - all we have at the moment is the fishcam.

11am Nope - nothing yet....  HGs are just sitting around waiting - no sign of the friendship so they must be all huddled up in the HoH room as usual the week one of them has HoH...

10am  Hgs have been told the POV competition will be in an hour.  Did ya notice this is week 2 without a food competition?  They sure made a big deal about that when the show started but now... well....   lets pretend we don't notice ;)  That PB&J pass that Janelle won has been REALLY useful - lol.

7:45am   Nothing much to note last night - the stuff below summed up the basics.  Howie & Rachel up - POV sometime this morning - Howie will choose Janelle and Rachel will choose April.  Not sure who Beau will choose yet to compete but James has been pushing for the opportunity.

If anyone but Janelle wins the POV then the odds are extremely high that Rachel or Howie is going home on Thursday.  They are pretty content with the situation.  Ivette really grilled April last night to make sure she wasn't considering voting James out if he ended up on the block - at this point I can't say which way she would vote - but James has to be on the block first and he isn't right now.

6pm Saturday Show Highlights:

Big Brother 6 Mister Potato Head Game!

9:50am  I finally watched the video from 7pm last night - yup - sure looks like Jennifer was booted.  It appeared to be right after the eviction - before the HoH competition.  There was indeed a first-aid kit on the counter but everyone except Jennifer was on camera and no one seemed seriously hurt so it might have simply been for a cut that someone got.  No feeds since then. 

8:45 am 8am  Good morning - nope - no feeds....  someone reported they were back but it might have been just a burp in the system where they went black for  a moment.  There is a RUMOR that Rachel was hurt last night and taken to the hospital (update - yup - complete bs - nothing true to it) - the rumor states this was revealed by a person at the CBS number I listed below.  I very much doubt anyone at that number has even ever seen the show - they were just 4 operators answering phones when I called yesterday - the NICE lady I spoke to was reading from an e-mail when she gave me the company line - so the odds that anyone there knows id Rachel was hurt are pretty slim.  But just to cover my rear I will let you guys know there is that rumor (8:45am The post saying that has been removed now).

I'll keep my ear to the ground today and post if there is any news.

6:15 pm Oy Vey - now I am worried...  the feeds may indeed not be back until after the show airs on the West Cost (and I have gotten info I trust now) - we shall see - I really am going off to play poker this time!!!  The post over at SillyHamsters is about as close as we are going to get to the REAL scoop - so enjoy the night and check back tommorow.  Here is the important part of the post:

"Sources tell Silly Hamsters that as in past years, CBS has blacked out live feeds today to avoid revealing secret plot elements.  We hear that the live feeds will be back after Saturday's TV broadcast. "

4pm  Now I just got off the phone with CBS - the number that has been posted all over.  4 poor ladies and a bank of phones - she said they have taken thousands of calls - she just had a statement to read that sounded like a buncha hooey.  You could interpret it to mean the feeds will be off until after the show tommorow.  I would rather go with the Shapiro Production answer below.  Either way - please don't call - they aren't gonna tell you any more than they told me and they KNOW people are mad.

3:22pm  I just spoke with the production company - all they will say is there is a competition going on right now and they are going to have CBS post a message on the official BB site soon saying when the feeds will return - PLEASE don't call and drive people crazy - Ok?  She would not give me an estimate - not an hour - not 6 hours - nothing - she just said AFTER the competitions.
 

2:50pm  Ok - I think the feeds WILL be back after all the competitions and eviction as I said - there is a rumor circulating that the feeds will be off until tommorow after the show is on the air.  Now think about it folks - I like you am paying for the live feeds - not a FISH CAM - if they don't have the feeds on as soon as they are done taping the show for tommorow I will be really ticked off.  I also read that a trusted poster on 'jokers' (a discussion type BB site) spoke with someone who confirmed what I just said - they will be back on tonight.

2:40pm  It has been "fishcam" the whole time - chances are everything is being blacked out until after the eviction and new HoH is selected.  I would guess 4:30 or 5pm at the earliest - but I will post something if I see it. I am not going to keep typing the same thing - just check the time so you know I have checked recently ;)

10:50am  Last night I mentioned something about James thinking a competition would involve shootting - he heard gun type noises out back.  Sounds like that may be the POV competition.  Some type of shooting contest - perhaps each HG gets to eliminate others by shooting their pictures (been done in Survivor immunity challenges before).  Fishcam - so it might have finally started.

10:30am - I think they are still waiting - Ivette just said that they could have slept in more.  Maggie just said in about 6 hours one of them is going home.

10:25am - Hmmm - either its over or they are still waiting....  Ivette and Beau are talking - sounds like Maggie and Jennifer are still nominated....  Ivette says she is fine with either going - the question is who do they (Ivette and Beau) want to stay more.  She says 'if they get rid of Maggie then we have to stay with another pair..."  - she also mentioned to Beau that 'they' were trying to 'recruit' James (they being Howie/Rach/Jan).  My guess is the POV is over and either no one won or Janelle or Rachel won.

10:20am Fish on all cams....  The POV is going on as far as I know.  As I said last night - Janelle, Rachel, Jennifer, April, Maggie and Ivette should be competing (I was wrong - Howie competed - not Rachel).

9:22am  Maybe they will get started on time - HGs were gathering at the couch - Janelle was in the diary room - I heard her say 'ok, thanks, bye' and then the changed to the fishcam.

9:15am  Rachel talks to Janelle and tries to convince her that Maggie is a better target than Jennifer - that Maggie is the glue that holds the other alliance together. On a side note - last night Maggie made a point to her alliance that Howie/Jan/Rachel would try to get them to fall apart and they needed to be strong.

9am  HGs are up and about - in theory the POV AND Food competition are supposed to start in 30 minutes or so - but they always run late.  HGs were on an inside lockdown all night after the show so the crew has been busy outside.

7am A busy morning for me - the HGs are sleeping - nothing major late last night - the Friendship are ticked off - mad at Janelle for calling them names on TV and discussions if Janelle 'cheated' - on the other side Janelle/Howie saying they are sore losers and Janlle aparently really wants Jennifer to be the one to go.  HGs all asleep at the moment.
