Food Competition Two – July 21th
The title of the competition is “A Balanced Diet.”
They have a big table on an angle before them with holes in it. There are several sections marked off – Red area is Slop, Yellow appears to be “Beef (?) and Veggies” – Orange is “Bread and Kumkwats” – Green is Ice Cream and Beer. There is a red “Slop” hole in the middle at the top. If they get it all they way to the top they also earn a caterred meal that day. (Actually I think there may be multiple things on each color – but we didn’t get to hear James name them all). I have heard them say “meat, ice cream, and beer” for the green area – but also beer for the yellow – so I am not positive what the board says where.
James and Erika guarentee them food and a feast for Monday by moving the bowling ball all the way to the top without it falling in a hole. They do this by sliding a bar up each side. There is also a ‘gutter’ on each end.
Mike and Diane get them the same, they get the bowling ball all the way to the top. Food and a caterred meal on Tuesday.
Now they are getting a break because it is very hot out – so we have “Flames”
Danielle and Will compete for Wednesday.
Finally a team isn’t perfect – they start to lose it and end up sinking the ball in the Orange area – which means the get the items in the hole the ball dropped in – and everything in the area’s below. In this case I guess the hole said “Bread and Kumkwats.” Aparrently they could try a second time but they decide not to. No caterred meal on Wednesday.

Janelle and Marcellas compete for Friday (today)- Marcellas is very nervous.
They end up dropping it in a yellow hole so they may take a second try. We have flames for now (they only get 2 tries I think).
Back from flames -Marcellas and Janelle are trying again…..
And the results are the same. No Slop but only Beer and Veggies (at least I think it is beer – hard to read…)

Jase and George compete for Saturday.
Jase and George take a really long time – they are still in the green area as I type this.
They made it all the way and George is worn out.
The last day to play for is Sunday – we have flames at the moment and I am guessing there will be special rules for this day – or it will just be given to them - hard to tell.
Back from the flames – Mike and Jase must be competing for Sunday.
Jase and Mike make it – here is the final board before their “Feast” is added. They did pretty good for the week. Today will be the toughest.
