Episode 703
July 11th, 2006 - Episode #3 - POV Competition and Ceremony.
Alrighty - I am watching…. show starts out with a recap of the first episode - HGs arrive, Jase and Janelle HoH, Danielle proposes getting Janelle out, Alison runs around and tells everyone. Alison and Danielle nominated.
Roll opening credits….
More from last week - Alison and Danielle nominated - now we see the aftermath.
Alison in the DR says she will inflict pure misery on Janelle.
Danielle in the DR says she was never nominated in BB3 - she made it all the way to the final 2 without being nominated.
Alison says she likes Danielle and doesn’t want to be up against her.
Alison suggests she and Danielle go confront Jase and Janelle about nominations - and they do..
In the HoH room Jase claims they were initially going after George but everyone came to them and said Alison and Danielle were plotting. Danielle admits to telling Alison and George but says she didn’t tell anyone else. Alison claims she only told James and Mike (but in a flashback we see she also told Jase so we know she is not being honest).

Alison leaves but Danielle stays back to talk a bit more - she says she was only throwing out a scenereo but was not suggesting who to go after (Jase or Janelle) - she says Alison is the one that went after Janelle specifically.
After Danielle leaves - Jase says that it was interesting how Danielle waited for Alison to leave before badmouthing her (Alison). Later Alison comes in the HoH room and says that Danielle was lying - she says she (Alison) swears to God that she is not lying this year - quick cut to the DR where we see Alison say everyone is lying this year. Alison says Danielle was pushing it - says she feels like a sucker and that she was doing Danielles work. |

Time for some comedy - we watch Howie’s apparent obsession with Will. So we watch Howie chase Will around - will says he and Howie have one thing in common, they are both attracted to Howie. Will says he is locked in the house with his own stalker. Will hopes his relationship with Howie can incluence what he sees as a season 6 alliance.
Back to Alison, Jase and Janelle are talking about her while she spies on them from the kitchen. Alison decides she will play dumb and if she makes it through this week she will go after Janelle.
Show returns with George being called to the Diary Room (I think this happened on the 4th or July - when they leaked the feeds base on what he is wearing and the fact I think he is not going to be able to find the Diary Room).
George is shown walking towards the bathroom (wrong way George), then shown going upstairs (again wrong way), he tries to go into the HoH room. Jase is shown in the Diary Room saying George hasn’t a clue where he is going in the house.
Janelle claims that she thinks since they BB6 people are assumed to be in an alliance, they might as well be (umm - I think they were in an alliance the minute they entered the house). We see James, Howie and Janelle plotting. James says they need to not let the other plot - get in the middle of the groups when people are talking so they can’t talk about them (the BB6 people).
Nakomis and Danielle are then shown talking outside (note - these are two of the early risers - most likely this convo happened while everyone else was sleeping). Nakomis suggests everyone that was not on BB6 should align, we then see others discussing the same thing. Everyone is trying to figure out how to break the BB6 alliance.
Marcellas enters the HoH room where Janelle and Erika both sit. Erika wants Alison out, Marcellas wants Danielle gone (both resent their fomer season roomies). They are worried about Alison winning the veto - Marcellas is torn because he doesn’t want to pass up an opportunity to get rid of Danielle.
Snoring….. several HGs snore - but George is the worst. We see Will, Jase and Danielle standing over George as he snores. In the morning WIll asks George how he slept and he says not well at all - WIll laughs and says he didn’t either!!
Slip and slide (I think this was last Thursday night when the feeds first came online). Everyone has fun - it seems to be all the guys. The last thing shown was George ‘riding ‘ Howie down the plastic slide.
Power of Veto (POV) time. Jase talks about the POV - explains the rules - someone wins POV - can save themself or someone else. Unlike previous years the extra players will be determined randomly (in theory this will change up the POV since everyone will have a chance to compete).
A wheel is spun to determine who else gets to play for the POV - Alison and Danielle each get one spin. Alison spins and Kaysars name comes up. Danielle spins and George’s name comes up. Mike is selected by Janelle and Jase to “host” the competition.
The HGs prepare for the POV competition and Alison says she will run over Janelle. Mike announces that this will be a ‘diving’ competition so get into your swim suits. It turns out is it “Dumpster Diving” and the backyard is full of trash.
There are 6 dumpsters - each with a competing HGs name on it - the dump contains items from previous seasons - hidden in the trash is veto symbols. The first HG to find six POV symbols and places them on a board in their dumpster wins the POV.
Before they start they bring out more stuff - a bunch of PB&J Sandwiches to start, dumped on the HGs by the HGs that were not competing. Now comes 6 seasons of ’soiled hair.” Finally mud from BB2, “Chum” from BB4 and “Iced clam sundays” from BB6. All dumped on the competing HGs.
Finally the comptition starts….. Early on it was Danielle, Janelle and Kaysar tied at 2…. and in the end Janelle won. Kaysar was next closest with 4.

Jase said he let Janelle win it to take the target off his back and put it on hers.
Alison and Danielle talk, they both tell the other they think they are going (Alison said she thinks she is going, Danielle feels it is her). In the HoH room, Janelle says Alison is mad, then James comes in and proceeds to try to stir things up. He says he thinks Danielle and James are a team. Later James is in the HoH room with Jase and Janelle - they talk about Will and James suggests taking off Danielle and putting up Will. |

Janelle calls everyone to the living room for the ceremony and…… after the standard speech, and Danielle and ALison giving their reasons not to be nominated (Actally Alison says she respects her decidion, and so does Danielle - so neither expect her to use it) and… Janelle doesn’t use it.
As the show ends Alison is seen in the Diary room saying that Janelle better watch out, and Danielle says she won’t go down without a fight.
