July 25th, 2006. Power of Veto contest and ceremony.
Show begins with a recap of Sunday’s show. We see Will and George nominated and he gives the reasons. Will is a ‘pawn’ and George is a floater and he wants to force the other floaters to pick a side. Janelle says George is up because he has been playing dumb. Will in the Diary Room (DR) says he loves being nominated. George says he can’t compete against the Dr. Will - his only chance is to win the Power of Veto (POV). |

We see James and George butt heads a little. George in the DR says that he and James just don’t get along for some reason. Howie in the DR says he is sorry for George but showing people sympathy didn’t help him last year.
Danielle says she doesn’t want either of them to go home but she right now George is going home.
Jase is shown in the Head of Household (HoH) room talkign to James, thanking him for not nominating him. James says it bugs him that Alison and James went before a floater (George is shown), James says they came to play.
Marcellas talks about all the men in the house. He says he would kiss them all except George. He talks about Kaysar, we see the clip again where he says he is falling in love with Kaysar as Erika and Janelle laugh. He calls him the Iraqi Peach.
Erika and Marcellas debate who should go. Marcellas feels Will should star as a ‘buffer’ against the Season 6 people but he also knows you don’t get many chances to eliminate a strong player.
Jase is shown rapping late at night. Kaysar is doing the ‘beat.’ The room is dark. Jase pulls up George to rap with them. He raps about being thrown out week three.
Next up… Jase in front of the mirror next to Danielle - she talks in the DR about how much time he spends and the face he makes as he plays with his hair. We also see Will and Mike making fun of the face.
George prepares for the POV competition. He tells Howie he is going up against the best player in BB history. We see what appears to be a tender moment between George and Howie, George tells Howie to watch out for the snake (we see an image of James). George says the snake will turn around and bite you.
Finally - the POV competition. James, Will and George draw names. They are on balls in a bag. There are also HG chouce balls. James draws Kaysar. Will gets a blue ball - chooses Mike. George get Jase’s name.
They head out back for the competition.
In the back yard is a tote board kinda thing with thermometer and 6 marks. There are also several items covered with blankets so they can’t be seen. Janelle is apparently the host. The thermometer is labelled with task - if you refuse a task you are out. The tasks get increasingly harder.
First you have to eat slop (Sloppy surprise) - eat one bowl of slop. Eveyrone agrees.
Will quits after a couple bites. George is shaking. Kaysar finishes it. Mike throws up and quits. James, Jase and George all finish.
Next task “Shirt off your back” - they all burn their shirts and shorts (all had other shorts underneath them).
Third task “Sign me up” - other HGs get to autograph the competing HGs bodys.
Fourth task - “Human Blueberry” - Climb into a tub full of blueberrys. All four agree. All four end up looking like smurfs.
Fifth task - give up the chance to compete in the POV next week. James quits. Jase quits. George and Kaysar continue.
Sixth task - shave your head. Both agree to do it.
Since both did all six tasks there is a tie-breaker. They have to choose the most amount of days they will eat slop with a maximum of 6 days. Kaysar writes down 15 - George writes down 60 days. George wins.
(Note - Jase was extremely upset by this - there is a feeling in the house that the competition was made up because they knew George would do anything to stay.)
Jase is shown being upset - George is shown in the DR saying he is back.
The season six people debate who to put up. James wants to put up Mike and vote him out. Others want Jase out - but James explains he feels he will be backstabbing him.
We see Kaysar telling Jase that he is probably going up - he implies that everyone else in the allaince wanted him gone (James sure didn’t). Jase is not happy.
Jase goes out back and in the back yard, in front of everyone, starts tossing things - then he confronts James and says he is surpised that he is going the back door route. Jase says he would not have back doored him. James claims it isn’t but Jase said he would not have bowed out of the POV competition if he thought he might go up. James says it is just a numbers thing.
Jase and Marcellas now get into it a bit - Jase calls out Marcellas for kissing the reas of the Seson Six people and then coming to him and saying they need to get out the season six people. Marcellas is furious at Jase and says everyone is talking about everyone. Right in front of everyone Jase says they have the votes to get Marcellas out. Marcellas says now he understands why everyone hated him on season five.
We return from commercial to see everyone called in for the POV ceremony.
George goes through the standard talk about the POV ceremony.
Will then speaks to the house as a group. Will rambles on about why he is having a hard time playing. He says he thought it was because he liked everyone - then he decided it was because he hates everyone. He says he wants to be kicked out. If they don’t vote him out he will throw every competition including food competitions and force everyone to eat slop.
George then talks about himself… how it is such an honor to be in the house and how he feels he and all of them are getting a second chance to do something.
He ends up saying he is saving himeself. As expected James then nominates Jase.
(What isn’t shown is that Jase actually jumped into the nomination chair before James officially nominated him. If you watch the show slowly you can see Jase moving as George walks away. What then happened is the producers had to ask/tell Jase to move back to the couch several times. He really didn’t want to but eventually did - they then filmed James nominating Jase).
That’s it for tonights show. Check out my Main Big Brother Page to see what has happened since. Voting is tomorrow and right now Jase is campaigning hard to stay in the house.
