August 13th, 2006 - New HoH, Noms & Food Competiton
Opening shows the eviction of Kaysar and the first HoH competition. The ‘malfunction’ of Howie’s buzzer is shown but not of Mike’s (his didn’t light up the question before and Julie missed it). -Opening Credits- The house reacts to Kaysar leaving. Erica is sad, Janelle talks to Will and claims George swore on his children to vote to keep Kaysar (a flashback reveals he didnt’ do that). |

Now in a flashback to the HoH competition Mike’s light is not shown lighting up. And then Howies in the next question. We also see that James had to hit his twice. Then we see Erika ‘winning’ the HoH competition. James says he was happy and it seemed techinical difficulties went his way. Mike announces there will be a re-play for the forst time in BB history and he is not happy.
Allison Grodner (executive producer) calls all the Hgs into the living room over the speaker and announces that there were a number of technical issues - that the buzzer did not function correctly and they will need to play it again. Allison appologizes to Erika - Erika says it is ok. They then go outside to re-do it - instead of buzzers they move a wheel to a/b.
Julie is hosting it….. 10 questions again… A or B - move the wheel….
Q. What were the former HGs called in the chant - Spirts or Ghosts?
A. Spirits - all right. (not shown on the show)
Q. Predominant color of the wall the mime shirt taken from? Red Black?
A. Red - George and Will eliminated.

A. Holly - all right. (not shown on the show)
Q. What did Alison say the mime did to her? Crazy - Insane?
A. Insane - Erika, Howie and Marcellas eliminated.
Q. In which hand was the spider in bunky’s hand? right left?
A. Left - all correct. (not shown on the show)
Q. Why did Eric say he was back? Revenge or so they never forget him?
A. Never forget - James eliminated.
Q. Spirit that mentioned bagels before or after the one that said meow?
A. After - both right. (not shown on the show)

Janelle a few minutes after winning the re-do of the HoH competition.
Marcellas in the Diary Room (DR) says it is the worst thing that can happen.
In the red room Danielle and Erika aren’t happy. They knew she could not play for the POV. Erika asks is the whole night just happenned - Danielle says yes.
Janelle and Howie talk - they say to go after Erika and Danielle - James comes in and tells them to go after Marcellas but Janele says no.
Now talk of the Coupt d’Etat. Big brother will not tell you if you are right or wrong - that will be revealed on Thursdays show (I don’t think we knew that). They examine the sheep. James and Danielle talk. Danielle and James rush to guess and they are fllowed shortly by Erika and George - no one else guesses right away.
Danielle guesses - Do Not Assume

In the yellow bedroom it is plain that Howie and Janelle are clueless. They call in James and he tells them his guess. Neither of them has heard of the phrase (doh!!!).
Dealing with the cold water. Will takes a ’shower’ in the kitchen bathroom since it is the only place with warm water. He hoses himself down and then sprays Janelle who was there joking with him.
James and Mike talk in the workout room about trying to save Danielle - they hope to get her to nominate Marcellas with Danielle.

In the end they won food for every day except Wednesday which was Daneilles ’slop cakes’ (which they felt were too crunchy). They also won a BBQ.
FYI - Danielle did indeed make the one item that didn’t win them food - but she also made the burritos and helped Janelle with her pasta and Erika with her Alfredo stuff. She was very much the leader on this tasks (sorry - feeling like the ‘editing’ short changed her).

Will comes to the HoH room to try to work out a deal to save Danielle and get Marcellas out. It doesn’t seem to be working.
Silly time. Howie, Janelle, Will and Mike made a video last week when they had no hot water. They called it ’shower with me’ but BB in its editing keeps that part out.
Back to strategy. James talks to Janelle. Janelle basically sticks to her guns and says she wants Danielle out and wants to nominate Danielle and Erika. Of Danielle she says, “The b**ch needs to leave.”

Nomination time.
(Not on the show — Just for fun - on Friday Erika predicted the order the keys would come out - let’s see if she was close: howie james will marcellas mike george)
Hgs gather for the nomination ceremony - here is the order the keys are revealed: James, Howie, Marcellas, George, Will, Mike - Erika and Janelle nominated (ok - Erika was off - lol).
Janelle says she nominated Daneille because Janelle nominated her. She tells Erika she has been a floater - that she admires her as a person but despises her gameplay.
At the very end we see a clip of Mike kissing Erika - the ‘romance’ that I mentioned a couple weeks ago and again a couple days ago.
