Big Brother VII

Will approaches Danielle and lets her know they will try to let her win the POV since there are so few people - then hopefully Janelle will put up George or Marcellas.

Cut to the red bedroom - we see Mike and Erika in bed - Mike asks her for a kiss. Erika in the DR says that she likes Mike - Mike says BB brings out the showmance in him. (FWIW - I think they were a couple before the show began - they are playing it off as just a ’showmance’).

Mike re-enacts a proposal like he did with Krista with Erika. In the DR Mike says he is just trying to make Erika feel better since she is having a rough week.

Marcellas goes to the HoH room to confront Janelle since she has been distant towards him every since she started hanging around with Will and Mike. Marcellas says he only has one deal and it is with Janelle (in the DR Marcellas laughs and says he would have said anything). He and Janelle seem to kiss and make-up. They hug and all seems right with the world for Janelle and Marcellas (Marcellas says in the DR that he will nominate her if he gets HoH).

Discussing the ‘Coup d’Etat’ - (they only call it ‘the special power’). Will says they need another clue - and there one is in the back yard - a giant needle and thread. They all speculate - Will says ‘you reap what you sow’ and several others to Mike. Janelle whispers ‘a wolf in sheep’s clothing’ to Howie. She tells him to go guess it. He does. Afterwards Janelle tells him not to tell the others what he guessed - she tells him to tell the others he guessed ’spool of lies’ - he does that and no one seems to believe him. Will says he has never heard of that expression.

Time to pick players for the POV competition. Janelle admits she gave up the right to compete for the POV. Janelle draws a ball - Will. Erika draws a ball - her choice - she chooses Marcellas. Danielle draws Jame’s name. It seems only 5 compete since Janelle can’t.

Before the competition the “Legion of Doom” (Will, Mike, James and Danielle) comspire and they agree that the guys are just going to try to keep Erika and Marcellas from winning so that Danielle will win.

The back yard has a mechanical bull, flamingos and a spinning chair (items from previous BB’s). Nicole form BB2 is introduced as a host. The competing HGs seem to be lined up behind podiums like in a game show.

The competeing HGs must try to beat times set by returning HGs from previous seasons (hard to explain). They will watch the ex-Hg set a time / score in an event and then all bid to see who can beat it by the most. The person that bids the highest gets to try.

First returning HG contestant - April (BB6). April eats 15 pieces of sushi. 5:04 was her time.

If you meat or beat the time you bid you can eliminate another contestant. If you don’t you are eliminated.

Bids are revealed: Erika 5:03, Marcellas 3:30, Danielle 5:03, James 3:20, Will 2:56.

Will must eat 15 pieces of sushi in that time. Will says he is about to show April why she isn’t an “All Star.” Will actually has no problem finishing the sushi (he is shown goofing around - what he revealed later in the house is by then he had 30 seconds left to finish one or two). Will completes the task in time.

Will eliminates Marcellas.

Next HG to arrive - Scott from BB5. He runs around the back yard. He has to score 10 points as fast as possible with the flamingo toss. He does it in 1:58.

Will in the DR says he and James agreed to have James try it. James bids 1:40.

James competes and scores 10 points in about 1:49. He eliminates Erika. Janelle in the DR says it looks like James has a deal with Danielle. Danielle in the DR looks happy as can be.

Jack from BB4 returns to ride in the spinning chair. He spins for 2 minutes and then carries a glass of champaign across the back yard on a platter in 37 seconds. James bids the lowest with 20 seconds. He throws the competition in Janelles mind. Will says he was embarrassed to be in the Legion of Doom with James his acting was so bad. James eliminated.

Hardy from BB2 returns to ride the mechanical bull. He lasts 59 seconds. Danielle bids 1:00 - Will bids 3:00. Will only lasts 1:26 and hurts himself in a very private place in the process (or course he was throwing the competition too).

Danielle wins POV. Janelle feels betrayed.

Danielle, Mike and Will celebrate in the storage room. Danielle says Janelle and Howie are very mad at James.

Janelle grills James for apparently throwing the competition. James says he didn’t throw it. They manage to get past this somehow and Janelle says she will put up someone from Chill Town (Will or Mike) in order to ensure the other one votes Erika out. James reports this to Will and Mike who run right upstairs to talk Janelle into NOT putting one of them up.

Will and Mike work their magic on Janelle and Howie. Will goes so far as to suggest getting rid of James since Janelle can’t trust him.

On to an event that occurred Sunday night. Will, Erika and Janelle in the hot tub. Someone suggests they take a group shower. Will goes to wake up Mike - int he DR they say this is “operation double date.” Mike explains the plan is for Mike to get close to Erika and Will to get close to Janelle. That way the women think they they are playing the guys but in reality the guys are playing the women (another classic diary room for Mike and Will).

The girls get ready and the guys toss Howie out of the HoH room. All four climb into the shower while Howie overs outside the HoH room missing it all (Nothing happened folks - they stages this cause they knew it would make ‘good tv’ although Janelle was tipsy and probably would have done more if Will had reciprocated). Mike remarks that the entire shower thing was all strategy (wink wink).

Janelle talks to Marcellas and tells him everyone thinks she should put him up. Marcellas says if she does he will go home. Janelle decides not to put him up. She tells Will and he talks to her and explains why she should - telling her she needs to be strong - she is a warrior, etc.

Danielle is shown pacing the floor - thinking about using the POV.

POV ceremony - Danielle says she is happy to have it but sad someone has to go home. Janelle says that since only two people have not been nominated and one is Howie, she will have to nominate the other person, Marcellas.

DR comments - Marcellas furious, Will happy, Janelle seems content - thinking Marcellas is safe.
