12am As suspected I didn’t miss a lot of strategy as I went off to bed.  Up until midnight the Hgs were in various small groups.  It does seem Nick and Daniele may be flirting a bit.  I am sure CBS will pick up on that lil thing and the thing between Mike and Jen.  Speaking of Jen it seems she was kinda recruited for Big Brother by CBS after she made it very far in the Survivor casting but didn’t make the final cut. 

9:30pm  Rather an un-eventful night in the house.  Uneventful strategy wise.  If you are looking to see buff guys and girls in swimsuits and bikini’s this is your night!  Mike and Jen are on a ‘Date’ – not anything formal as far as I know – more an excuse to get dressed up.

8pm  Carol has come to the conclusion that she is going home.  She shed some tears just know and Zach comforted her.  Meanwhile in the ‘little’ room Jessica seemed to be happy that Carol was upset.  To me it has seeemed like Jessica is much more ‘obsessed’ with the rivalry between herself and Carol (remember the $5 thing during the show Thursday?).

7pm More details about the POV contest.  Sounds like the HGs that were playing all hid POV symbols and then the other players had to find them.  I guess Danielle did the best job finding and/or hiding.  Now they are on an outside lockdown while something inside the house is fixed.  They also are getting pizza tonight not sure if those on the slop get to eat it or not. 

6:50pm  The POV contest ended just before 6pm and it appears that Danielle won it.  As far as I know Danielle is a bit of a wild card at the moment – she may or may not use it – I’ll know more later tonight.  Currently however I can see Amber getting close to Daniele so that might indicate she will not mess with the nominations.

2pm  We still have no feeds – which means the POV is still going on.  I’ll be away for a while so I may miss the return of the HGs – but I will know the answer later on so please check back! 

1pm The competition apparently continues.  Feeds remain on trivia. 

12:10pm  POV Competition is going on it looks like – the Trivia (see below) has been back on for a good 20+ minutes. 

11:30am  Still waiting to compete.  Listening to Amber talking to Dustin and Nick.  Danielle and Jameka were the other two  selected to play in the POV competition.  Amber is a lock to stay in the house if the nominations stay the same.  Nick has also said he won’t change nominations.   Amber pulled Jameka’s name to compete and it sounds like Jameka wants to keep Amber in the house as well.

11:10am  Sounds like Nick will be competing not sure whom the other person is.  Kail, Amber and Carol should also be competing.   So I guess they drew the 3 extra names by some process and now they are still waiting to begin.

10:54am  Feeds return – looks like they have not started yet (shocking).  Most of the HGs are sitting in the living room waiting however.

10:30am  Wow – right on time the feeds switched to the “Trivia” screen from last year (at least is looks the same with the addition of the “BB8″ logo.  If you want to see the quiz I recorded it last year – here is my YouTube post - its roughly 8 minutes long.

9:25am Getting ready for the POV competition. Carol and Jessica seem to get along fairly well.  Back in the round bed bedroom Nick tells Dustin and Amber about his night.

9:10am  Dick, talking to  Nick and Dustin comments on how hard it is to be in the house with Daniele, sounds like they aren’t really talking except for superficially.  Earlier Dick said he had not spoken to Daniele in two days.

8:50am   BB announces the POV competition will begin in 90 minutes.  I’ll believe it when it happens – count on it being 2 hours minimum.

8:40am  And just like that Big Brother has told the HGs to get up.  Kail and Jen woke up around 8am and just a few minutes ago BB told them to get up.  I missed the specifics so they may have been told what time the POV competition begins.   Eric talks a bit like Woody Allen, I’m not sure if it is just a ‘bit’ of his or what. 

7:20am  Dick is finally heading off to bed I think.  He is a good HG to have up all night because he talks to himself and thus fills us in.  He says it is ‘not’ for the show.  He also belches and spits a lot.   He just finished a beer by the way.  He mentions that he has been in the house for 5 days.  That is different than Dustin’s comment last night that it has been 6 days.  I suspect Dick may be right and they entered the house on Sunday (it is still Thursday for Dick since he has not slept).

 Here is Dick walking to the bathroom – I now know why the floor is raised – I think it is supposed to have the effect of the room getting smaller (kinda like that scene in Willy Wonka).   The other picture is Dick finally in bed.

 4:40am – Good morning! The HGs, with the exception of one, went to bed pretty early last night. Good thing the “Big Brother After Dark” didn’t run after 12am Big Brother time or the viewers would have been forced to watch Dick all by himself.

Dick is still up by the way, currently in the Diary Room. The man is not very happy with himself for a number of reasons it seems and I can guess as to why. He seems to be very upset about his daughter being in the house, my guess is because he is having a hard time playing a ‘game’ when she will be affected by whatever he does. Working out an apparently LONG time issue with your daughter on a national televistion show isn’t what he had in mind it looks like.

Dick smokes while everyone else sleeps.

So Dick has spent most of the night brooding and has even shed a few tears. He is currently in the Diary Room talking about who knows what. This may be a nightly ritual for Dick, I guess we will find out over the next couple of weeks as he will be there for at least 13 more days unless he gets kicked out or leaves on his own (not that I think either will happen).
