Tonight - The First Live Eviction Of Season 8 - What To Expect
July 12th, 2007
It seems to me like a months since Big Brother 8 started and it has only been a week for the viewers and 13 days for the house-guests (HGs) who entered the house on June 30th.
And finally one of the HGs will walk out the front door and talk to Julie. The show will be live and here is what you can expect to happen. Oh, I will also be re-capping it live on the fly on this page so click this link to check out my thoughts as I watch the show.
Before we get to the actual eviction we’ll pick up where the show ended Tuesday, with Daniele not using the Power of Veto. That locked in Amber and Carol as the candidates for eviction.
I am sure the producers will spend the majority of the pre-eviction portion of the show with clips of Amber and Carol scrambling for votes and they will weave the clips to imply the voting may be close (it won’t be). Eric of course will be shown voting and we’ll see if he followed America’s vote (my guess is America will tell him to vote out Carol based on Amber being presented sympathetically on the show Tuesday).
Expect also a small tease about Daniele and Nick and their budding ’showmance’ and some feel good pieces on Carol and Amber as the nominees.
Then the eviction will take place and you can count on Carol to be walking out the door. She’ll carry herself well I am sure and hopefully will be smart and not come across as too bitter about the whole BB8 process.
Then we will have the first live Head Of Household (HoH) competition. Kail will not be allowed to participate. I would expect a “Quiz” type of competition - be it paddles or buzzers. Many HGs don’t want to win so I would expect Zach, Dick, Nick, and possibly Daniele and Jameka to all fall out early. The person that probably needs to win the most is Jen - she just is not well liked in the house.
Once a new HoH is crowned the show will end, but later on on the live feeds we will get to see the new HoH get the keys to his/her room and then watch everyone line up to kiss up to them as he/she will have to make nominations on Friday.
