Big Brother 8 Episode #6 Recap
July 17th, 2007

Show begins with the recap of last episode, Dick and Daniele nominated by Jen. 

In the Diary Room (DR) Joe feels like Jen’s excuse of ‘negative energy was ‘bullcrap.’  He feels the only negative energy is cause by Jen.  Dick says Jen is an idiot and they have butted heads since day one, Daniele says Jen is jealous of her relationship with Nick.

Daniele and Dick are taking things well – but Amber is shown in the DR crying.  She says she loves them both so much.

Dick says being nominated against Daniele may cut short their chance to fux things between them.  In the DR Daniele says she is in to win and wants to stay even if it means her dad has to go.

 Nick talks to Daniele and exposes the Mrs Robinson alliance.  He feels he can trust Daniele more than those in the other alliance.  He tells daniele he will take the fall before her.  He tells Daniele he has developed feelings for her and he isn’t just playing a game.  Daniele tells Nick that she isn’t 21 yet so now he knows a secret too.  He asks her if she really has a boyfriend hoping that was a lie too, but she really does.

Zach and Mike wonder about Nick’s trustworthyness and Zach says the only way they will know for sure is if he votes to evict Daniele.

-COMMERCIAL-

America’s Player Time – Eric must sleepwalk and climb into bed with Joe.  The stipulation is given that he must stay in the bed until Joe throws him out.  Even though he does get into bed with Joe, Joe never technicaly throws him out so he apparently fails.  By the way, the actual ’sleepwalking’ ocurred Monday around 9am  Big Brother Time.

Later on Joe asks Eric if he sleepwalks and Eric denys it.

Players are picked for the POV – Jen pics Mike.  Dick draws Amber.  Danile draws Joe.

Jen picks Dustin to host.

Amber has a mini breakdown because she doesn’t know f she should throw the veto or play hard for it – Jen comes in the room where Dustin and Jen are and lets Jen know that if she wins it and uses it Jen might put up Dustin.

Jen tells the same thing to Joe – but Joe doesn’t feel Jen could put up anyone that would hurt him.

Amber tells Daniele and Dick what Jen had to say. 

Daniele and Dick both rip into Jen for what she said.  Mike actually somewhat defends Jen.

Then Zack and Jameka kinda get into it a little.  More of that to come later I’m sure.

Back to more of Jen and Dick – they go at it some more and we get a commercial.

-COMMERCIAL-

POV Competition – Cuthroat Christmas. 

6 gifts – one is POV.

Curling it the game.   Closest to the red line wins.  Loser each round gets a gift - next off can take the 1st losers gift or select a new one.  Etc Etc until all gifts are out.

Joe out first.  He selects a gift – it is a Slop Pass.

Jen out next.  She gets a new gift – a red unitard she has to wear for a week.

Mike out third – he gets a Big Brother Date.

Dick out – he gets a plasma TV.

Amber out next – she threw the competition so Daniele would win the POV.    Amber gets to be handcuffed to a HG for 24 hours.

Daniele wins the POV.

-COMMERCIAL-

The results of the POV competition?  Jen loves the “Unitard” and Amber decides to be chained to Kail and they do pretty well together.

For some reason Eric feels the need to try to get Jessica nominated – Jen turns him down yet again.

Nick and Zack talk and they decide to go after Joe to replace Daniele.  Nick in the DR says he has to keep trusting Nick.

Zach then goes to Jen to suggest Joe.  Others enter the HoH room and suggest Joe as well.  Jen seems to tire of the discussion – leaves – goes downstars and sees Nick talking to Daniele – and gies back to the HoH room and announces she will nominate Nick.

-COMMERCIAL-

POV meeting.  Daniele uses it and Jen puts up Joe in her pkace.

Show Ends.

Tonights America’s Players Vote – Tell Eric Who To Vote To Evict – Link To Voting Page – voting ends at 3am Eastern.

12am Those watching on ShoToo between 9 & 12 were probably not too interested.  Jen got a bit tipsy and, with Kail was seeing if they could come up with the votes to evict Dick.  Jessica and Eric humored them and so I think Jen and Kail actually think they are voting to evict Dick.  Jessica had no such plans and Eric didn’t either, but then again Eric will be ‘told’ who to vote for -  so he may vote to evict Dick even though he doesn’t seem to want to (I stillfind it stupid if he HAS to vote for whom ‘we’ tell him to).

8pm Finally watching tonight’s show – my recap is here.

7:50pm The ladies discovered that the salsa, which is considered a ‘condiment’ by Big Brother and therefore ok for the slop eaters to eat – they have turned it into a ’soup’ of sorts.

7pm My oh my – where have I been? Well it has been a very slow day in the house and I was spending time with my kids putting up a net on the used trampoline we got this summer. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! lol. So I just finished catching up on the feeds and here is what has been going on.

Joe is doing just what Carol did last Tuesday, scrambling for votes. Kail and Mike seem to want Dick out but they need six votes to evict and I just can’t see them getting them. Even five votes, which would force a tie, would be hard to get.

11:45pm If you are interested in watching a lot of people sunbathing, today is the day to tune in.

10:55 Jen had re-made her ‘unitard’ into an ‘uniswimsuit.’

10am The house is mostly still asleep (Tuesdays usually do not have anything scheduled), Jen and Kail (I think it is Kail) are discussion strategy in the HoH room while still in bed with the lights out.

4:40am Daniele has gone to bed, Dick is cleaning up and will be off to bed shortly.

4am Ahhh, the POV competition was Curling – or something close to curling based on Dick and Daniele’s conversation. Dick doesn’t think the house knows he and Daniele are in a strong alliance even though Jen caught them in the Storage Room once (Most of the HGs do think Daniele and Dick are closer than they would expect though).

3:45am Daniele and Dick are the only two up and they are having quite the conversation, almost all Game. Dick did briefly bring up Daniele’s boyfriend and asked her how he thought he was handling the situation between her and Nick. She pretty much brushed the discussion off but did seeem to imply she was keeping Nick at arm’s length. They also talk game, Dick will nominate Jen and Mike if he gets HoH – Daniele will probably nominate Zach and Jen.

12am-3:30am Not a whole lot game wise appears to have gone on. They played around with the lawn ornaments and Joe seemed to work a little for votes but I think he knows he doesn’t have a shot.
