Big Brother 8 Episode #15 Recap
August 7th, 2007

Recap as always – Jen and Kail nominated.

Opening credits…

Kail and Jen each nominated for the third time, neither surprised. Dick tells them that one of them is going home this time.

Dick continues with his verbal assault on Jen.

Eric knows they plan to ‘back door’ him. Jessica tells Amber and Dustin. They decide Jessica needs to humor Daniele and Dustin. Dustin emphasizes that the five of them (including Jameka) need to stick together.

Eric fills in Jameka. Jameka and Kail speculate why Dick and Daniele are breaking away from the group. Jameka says that ‘they’ won’t prevail (Dick and Daniele).

Daniele talks to Zach, Zach says he feel Nick got shafted and Daniele says that ‘they’ (the LNC) made her vote out Nick. In the Diary Room (DR), Daniele says she knows she can use Zach’s loyalty to Nick.

Dustin, Eric and Jessica re-affirm that Dick and Daniele are making a big mistake.

-COMMERCIAL-

Name selection for the Power of Veto (POV).

Daniele selects Zach. Jen selects Dustin. Kail gets house guest choice and selects Jameka – then Daniele selects Amber to host.

POV competition time. “Numbers Don’t Lie”

Highest number bidder must complete the task – Lowest bidding number eliminated.

“Show me the bunny” how many hours will you wear a bunny suit? 0-120

Kail, Jen, Dustin and Zach write 120 – Jameka write 110 – Dustin 100 – Dustin out.

“Dump the funk” Dump what we called manure over your head once an hour up to 24.

All write 24 hours.

“10,000 cash” -person that write the highest from 0-10,000 wins that amount but is eliminated.

All wrote 0.

“Sloppy Summer” how many hours up to 720 will you eat slop?

Zach eliminated at 250 – Kail and Jen put fill amount – 30 days.

“Power Shortage” Most number of HoH comps you will forfeit – up to 5.

Kail and Jameka write 5 – Daniele eliminated with 3 (Jen 4).

“Money Walks” How much of the prize money – up to $250 will you give up to win the POV.

Jen puts 250k and ‘wins’ the POV. Kail bid just shy of 250k and Jameka bid 10k

-COMMERCIAL-

Bunny suits being put on.

Jameka is shown crying to Amber, realizing that she won’t be able to compete in HoH for 5 weeks. And that means she won’t be in the HoH room – or get mail from family. Jameka gets extremely emotional and goes off by herself to pray (cue the BBorgan music). While she is crying and praying Jen is shown complaining about her bunny suit.

Daniele hugs Jameka but in the DR Jameka says Daniele is her fathers daughter (lies).

Daniele pulls Jen into the HoH room and asks for her vote to evict whomever she puts up – Jen agrees and they guesses it is Eric (she knew whom Daniele wanted to put up).

Dick apologizes to Jen for his behavior and asks Jen to lay off Daniele – in truth he is doing it because he needs Jen’s vote.

Dick pulls Jen up into the HoH room and proceeds to say that Eric has been playing everyone. That he needs to pay the price for voting Nick out. In the DR Jen says she is not sure if she is ready to commit to teaming up with Nick.

The dumping is shown – this went on Saturday-Sunday.

Dick talks to Jessica and claims that Jen is the one that said Eric was playing both sides (it was actually Dick).

Jessica talks to Jen and Jen says Eric was telling lots of women they were his “Number One” – Jessica says she feels like Eric has been playing her for a fool.

Jessica goes to Dustin and says she believes Dick and Daniele now. She goes to Jameka and tells her how she feels and Jameka says she thinks they are just trying to turn them against each other. Scene ends with Jessica deep in thought.

America’s player – whom must you convince you want to take to the final two? Jessica. Eric is happy about this because that is who he would like to take to the final two.

Now we see Eric trying to fix things with Jessica. She seems to listen to him and BB says ‘task completed.’

Back to the dumping – we see more Funk being dumped.

Confrontation time – Dick confronts Eric – this happened Sunday evening. He accuses Eric of everything he has been saying the last few days – and Eric argues back.

Inside Dustin actually asks Daniele if she would consider nominating Dick. Daniele can’t believe that Dustin suggested she put up her dad and in the DR she says she might put up Dustin,

-COMMERCIAL-

POV Meetng time.

Kail says she does not expect to be saved. Jen says she has earned it and she will use it on herself. Daniele must make a new nomination.

Daniele says she was closest to Nick and he was set up – so she nominates Nick.

Meeting over.

Eric says it was a desperation move. Kail thought she was going to be completely safe and she isn’t so sure. Dick is excited. Jessica feels there will be a lot of butt kissing this week to her.

10:45pm There hasn’t been a ton of game talk – Dustin has told Jessica about Amber and they feel that Jen is working with Dick and Daniele so they can’t trust her.

So far I think Amber is going ot stay true to her promise to vote out Kail. But once again the voting is not until Thursday. Over 36 hours until Eric or Kail leave.

7:55pm Amber says to Dustin that neither she or Jameka can vote Eric out because they both swore they wouldn’t. Amber wanted Dustin to go to Dick and bargain with him – that if he voted out Eric they would owe him one. He isn’t buying at all.

7:40pm Earlier Jen told Jameka and Amber that Eric will not be putting up Dick and Daniele if he wins HoH. For some reason they BELIEVE Jen. That is why they are thinking he needs to go. Amber is now telling Dustin and Dustin says “I can’t believe Jen.” Dustin looks to be furious that they are even consider it. Wow.

7:30pm Whoa…. Jameka and Amber may have now decided to vote Eric out. I’m waiting to see a discussion for myself but those two have spent a lot of time talking today while Jameka was working on Amber’s hair and this 24 hour bed thing for Dustin might bite him in the butt.

5:20pm <yawn> They all ate dinner – Daniele is hanging around with Kail and Jen a lot now. Kail and Daniele are whispering like crazy but for now none of it matters much if you ask me. Dick wants to talk to Jameka at some point tonight – she kinda sighed when she agreed earlier.

2pm Kail has finally admitted to Dick (in front of Daniele and Jen) that Dustin was the one that let her know she was safe last week (Dick joined them in the HoH room).

1:25pm Besides Kail, Daniele and Jen chatting in the HoH roo, I think everyone else may be sleeping. The feeds just went to the water tunnel so perhaps they are being told to get up. The inside lockdown may be over as well. Still no additional info on what the banner plane said.

12:05pm Still on an inside lock down – when I hear exactly what the banner said, I’ll let you know.

11:50am It sounds like Dick, Kail, Zach, Daniele and Jen all saw the banner and at least part of it was related to Kail and my have tried to reveal that she is financially better off than she had portrayed.

11:37am Big Brother went old school – we just heard the old piano music from the ‘front of the house’ cam days.

There may be another banner – HGs seem to be on inside lock down. Kail jokes that it might
