Big Brother 8 Episode #20 Recap
August 19th, 2007

The show begins as usual. A recap of the eviction of Dustin and Daniele winning HoH for the second time. Who will she nominate?

Opening Credits

Amber cries over Dusting being evicted. Dick can’t believe he is still in the house. Jessica says she was able to get Dustin out without getting her hands dirty.

Eric in the Diary Room (DR) says that it feels good to get him out. Eric approaches Jameka and says ‘it was a group choice.’

Amber in the DR says, “I got so played.”

Amber and Jameka talk, in the DR Jamek says Eric is the person to blame.

Daniele shown winning her second HoH. Dick says it is like a story book.

Amber says that the only person she has in the house now is Jameka.

Eric and Jessica are happy, Eric feels he picked the right week to make a big move.

Dick and Daniele celebrate her win, Dick says she doesn’t need others input on who to put up, she implies she will be doing what she wants.

Jessica, trying to keep in good with Jameka, talks to her about things, Jameka asks Jessica if she has any side deals and she says if he did she would ‘disown’ him.

Daniele gets in her HoH room, Zach is surprised not to see pictures of her boyfriend and a letter from Nick.

Daniele talks to Amber out back. Daniele says that it was nothing she did, it was Dustin’s arrogance. Amber says if she needs to put her up then do it, but she doesn’t feel she is a threat to Daniele.

We now get to see words that Amber doesn’t know. Examples are given, charismatic, outed, back doored, perceived, implication, peanut gallery (they inserts laughter from the peanut gallery on that one).

Eric talks to Amber. He says he realized that he would be the first one to go when the right person won HoH so he had to make a move. In the DR Amber says she can forgive but she won’t forget.

Beer Pong is shown. this isn’t the version I played in school, we actually used a ping pong table and one cup. But they use ten cups per side and when the last cup on one side is eliminated, the other team wins. There have been bets involved and Eric had to pay up on several of them, including wearing very tight girls shorts and Jessica’s dress.

Amber and Jameka talk to Dick about what transpired the weak before - Dick says that he had to make them hate him. He also says that Dustin was dumb to volunteer to go on the block. He doesn’t say there is any agreement between himself and Jessica and Eric. But after he leaves the room Amber says she doesn’t believe him and there has to be a final four agreement between Dick, Daniele, Eric and Jessica.

-COMMERCIAL-

Toga Time and the food competition. A giant beer pong game is set up in the back yard. The theme is a fraternity toga party. “Slop Pong”

Volley Balls and 55 gallon drums. There is also a chance to qualify for a big dinner for everyone.

They go back and forth. In the end the Red Team consisting of Eric, Dick, Zach and Jessica won 10-9. The whole house also won the Big Meal (they had that yesterday by the way). Jameka and Amber are on slop. Jen already was from her POV thing a couple weeks ago. Daniele is HoH so not slop for her.

The HGs return to the house and find he table is smaller now.

-COMMERCIAL-

Jessica and Eric - Eric says, “We are officially bad asses.” Dick tells Eric to give Jessica a little kiss. She says Julie asked about her and Eric when she was in the HoH room and she said she wanted to stay focused on the game. You can still see them all flirty.

Jen asks Daniele about nominations, Daniele claims to not have anyone in mind yet.

Eric is charged by America to get Amber nominated. Its an easy thing to do (it is one of the people Daniele has in mind so its not like he was having to bring up a new name).

Nomination time. Here is the order that the keys came out.

Jessica, Jen, Dick, Zach, Eric. Amber and Jameka are nominated.

Daniele says she nominated Amber and Jameka because they get along with everyone and she might not have a chance agains them. She says she is giving both of them a chance to fight for the Power of Veto.

Amber things she is destined to win the POV and she and Jameka will be the fina two.

Daniele in the DR reveals that Jen is the real target.

9:55pm Daniele may be depressed that she didn’t get anything from her b/f for her birthday. Eric seems to be trying to make her feel a little bit better and reassure her.

Amber is telling Jameka that she didn’t have to make the deal she made, that she wasn’t the target all along. Silly amber!

8:30pm Party time for Daniele - her 21st birthday - but everyone except Dick thinks it is her 22nd. Amber, Jen and Jameka are not allowed to eat the cupcakes.

8pm No chance for strategy talk when you are all hanging out together! Here are all eight remaining house guests.

7:17pm Amber is telling Jameka. She said she had promised Daniele not to tell anyone but she is going to tell Jameka - 7 minutes! For now she just tells Jameka they are safe. Daniele hasn’t been alone with Dick yet to tell him, but I am sure she will. No one can keep a secret in this house.

7:10pm Amber has had a sit down with Daniele and sworn on her daughters life (sound familiar?) that Daniele is safe if she (Amber) gets HoH. This is so that Daniele will save her with the POV tomorrow. Amber says she won’t tell anyone she made a deal. Daniele says she is not going to tell anyone either. Gee - wanna bet they both do? Lets find out.

6pm Jessica and Eric are finally up. Jameka and Amber speculate about who might go up if Daniele uses the POV tomorrow. Jameka thinks it will be Jen, Amber wonders if she should talk to Daniele, Jameka says to wait - but she can if she wants to. She warns Amber that “they” (Dick and Daniele) will want to make a deal with her to take her off. Frankly, there is no need, Daniele will be going after Jen no matter what.

4:55pm Dick doing cannonballs and really really enthralling talk is what ig up now. Eric and Jessica STILL sleeping.

3:45pm This may be the slowest day yet for the HGs. Eric and Jessica are still sleeping. I think Jameka just got up the way she is rubbing her eyes. A very lazy day and so far no word on when/if Daniela and Amber get their prize.

2:10pm Jen, Daniele and Zach are up - Dick was up earlier for a bit and is either in the diary room or has gone back to bed. Amber is up as well.

7:50am Eric and Jessica are finally heading inside and to bed.

7:15am Jessica and Eric are still awake in the back yard. They are talking about their future together - it is very tongue in cheek but if course they are still flirting and are snuggling a bit. Earlier Dick was out back talking with them but even he has gone to bed.

12am-7am For as much time as they were up and as much talking as they did, the most I see that went on last night was Eric and Jess seem to feel that it is a good thing to get out Jen out this week and they have to go after Zach next week. Eric thinks that if they get Zach out next week they will have an advantage over Dick and Daniele.
