Big Brother 8 Episode #22 Recap
August 23th, 2007

Do I really need to say it? A recap of everything that happened in the last week. Ending up with Jen and Jameka nominated.

OPENING CREDITS

Julie does the stinking recap as well - ughh….. finally ‘new’ stuff post POV ceremony.

Jen is not happy that Daniele lied to her, she had told her she was safe last week. Daniele says she is sorry but she doesn’t seem to be that sorry in the diary room.

Post POV meeting Dick tells Jen that she should have expected it since she has said she didn’t care about the money or winning. Dick tells her she should concentrate on staying instead of being bitter.

Jen talks to Daniele in the HoH room. Daniele says that the fact that she (Jen) wants her dad out of the house makes her want to not keep her around.

Jen in the Diary Room (DR) says she always gets the last laugh because she is always having fun.

Amber and Daniele leave on their trip.

Jen talks about not going to the Jury house. Jameka says in the DR that it degrades the integrity of the game.

Jen gathers her stuff and puts it in garbage bags and places it in a few hidden places in the house. Dick asks her if she is leaving - she says she might as well pack now. Jen is also seen cooking even though she is on slop.

She says ‘why not?’ when asked if she is going to eat. Jen heads back in the house and finds Dick’s cigarettes, she dumps them in a trash can and pours bleach over them. That is why she his her clothing.

Outside Dick realizes he might need to get his stuff and he realizes she has gotten into his cigarettes. She won’t tell her where they are and he calls her names. He looks all over the house and finds her clothes - he takes all of her clothes to the HoH room.

Jen walks outside carrying food and sits down and begins eating. Not revealed at this point is that Jen knew Dick was getting his cigarettes replaces and Jen was very mad about that because she says that she was told she could destoy them.

Jen is called to the Diary Room. The clip shown is actually from the next day where she announces she has an penalty vote against her. I would have sworn the vote was for destroying Dicks cigarettes - what we heard after the incident was Jen found a loophole that allowed her to break food restrictions. Interesting……

The big confrontation between Dick and Jen is shown. Dick blows smoke right in Jens face twice and Jen tries to knock the cigarette out of his hand. He does appear (to me) to almost stab a her with the lit end of the cigarette - finally Jameka pulls Jen away as Dick and Jen continue to yell at each other.

That all took place Monday night by the way and I have some of the unedited video posted on this page, warning - Dick’s language isn’t edited out on that page.

-COMMERCIAL-

Amber and Daniele go to NYC to be on “Power of 10″ - this was Monday to Tuesday night.

In New York at the taping, there was one ‘friend’ to support them. For Amber it was her cousin, for Daniele is was Nick (from BB8).

We see the taping - or a portion of it. It will be shown in full on Tuesday.

Julie talks to the HGs live. Amber said it meant a lot to her & helped her get her focus back. Daniele said it was well needed and very much appreciated.

Jen on breaking food restrictions - she said she was upset with Big Brother and thought she would eat.

Eric is shown in all the various attires he has worn and not worn in the house.

-COMMERCIAL-

Julie talks to Daniele in the HoH room - she credits herself, her dad, Eric and Jessica with pulling it off. Daniele says she would like to stay with him to the final two - she thinks others will vote for her over her dad.

Jen and Jameka pleads their case. Jen doesn’t seem to care much (she assumes she is gone) - Jameka’s is a bit more of a plea.

Live voting.

Amber: Jen

Eric: America votes to evict Jen.

That is 4 votes with the extra vote against.

Zach: Jen

Jessica: Jen

6-0 Jen evicted but first…..

-COMMERCIAL-

Jen evicted - Dick leaves before she gets up - Eric does not hug her and then as she is about to leave he tells her they are all happy to see her go.

Jen meets Julie - the remaining HGs celebrate.

Julie talks to Jen, said she was full of surprises. Jen says you never know what you are going to get with her. Jen said she didn’t have a ig strategy, learning things from people and hopefully teaching people things.

About Dick and all the things he said to her, she feels he said a lot of things that were inappropriate.

Goodbyes from the HGs - Jameka, nice - Eric, nice - Dick says she should have gone sooner - Jessica says sorry to see her go - Zach wishes her well - Daniele apologizes for putting her up - Amber says she is a beautiful girl and just needs to dig a little deeper to find the person beautiful person inside.

Julie says Jen will help with the HoH competition.

-COMMERCIAL-

HOH competition - Jameka and Daniele can’t compete.

The others are sitting over dunk tanks - they will answer questions about the evicted HGs and if they are wrong Jen pushes a button in studio that will dunk them.

Last one un-dunked is the new HoH.

Joe said ___ was in need of a slop diet. Zack or Jameka

All right - no one dunked.

Carol said ____ would do the worst in a spelling bee. Jessica or Amber

Eric wrong (he said Amber).

Kail would give her bible to ____ . Dick or Jameka

All wrong - she said Dick.

Nick said he would least like to see ___ streak? Eric Zack

Amber and Zach wrong. He said Zach.

Who said their experience was like the movie “Meet the Falkers” ? Joe or Mike?

Dick wrong - Jessica HoH. Joe said it.

11:55pm It was a low stress evening with very little game talk after dinner (at least up until now).

Eric spent a lot of time talking to Amber and his relationship with his long ter relationship (which according to Eric was in a break before he came in). He figures that she will either want nothing to do with him when he gets out or she will say she realized how much she cared for him.

Jameka cornered Jessica in the HoH room wanting to talk strategy. Jessica didn’t want to commit to anything but was heard saying that she would not put Jameka up. That makes sense as she seemed to be interested in nominating Amber and Zach earlier and going after Amber.

9:15pm Food finally arrives. And the game talk has begun.

Dick ran up to Jessica’s room to talk nominations - sounds like she wants to put up some combination of Amber, Jameka or Zach. Dick wants her to put up Amber and Jameka and Zach if a POV is played - they seem to want Amber out this week. We’ll see what Eric has to say once he talks to Jessica - however - he might do well to wait until her gets his orders from America.

Eric has taken Amber outside to talk with her and he seems to be talking like he is guilty of something. He is explaining everything - they are both lying to each other with some things. Amber said she doesn’t hold the ‘back pocket’ comments against Eric but I heard her tell Jameka just this morning that she didn’t forgive him for it.

7:15pm Hgs waiting for dinner I think.

7:05pm Not a lot of game talk, more, “We’re glad she is out of the house,” talk.

Amber and Jameka did speculate on who Jessica will nominate. I wonder myself.

5:55pm Jessica wins HoH.

5:38pm Jen evicted 6-0.

5pm Feeds returned for a bit - no game talk, they will be dining on In Out burgers tonight after the show.

3pm Trivia since 2pm and before that - just house cleaning.

1pm Lock down is over - now its cleaning time. Nothing to report so I’m sure Jen is going.

12:15pm I am guessing they are staring to go stir crazy.

10:30am - HGs on lock down in the HoH room.

9:15am Jessica got up - worked out a little, showered, ate, and went back to bed.

5:20am Amber and Jameka heading to bed and Dick is already there.

5am Daniele has gone to bed, Dick is in the DR and Jameka and Amber are talking strategy. They rehash the fight between Dick and Daniele except in this version Daniele hasn’t told Dick she has a deal with Amber so Dick is just mad at her for not making one with her.

4:45am Dick, Daniele, Jameka and Amber are still up. They are bored and can’t sleep.

Amber thinks her boyfriend will have a promise ring at the very least for her when she gets out of the house.

2-4:30am Not a lot of game talk, no deals, I am now 99.99% sure Jen is going home tonight, the big thing will be who wins HoH. If Dick, Eric or Jessica do then chances are Jameka or Amber will go home nxt week, if Amber wins it she says she will go after Eric and Jessica. I haven’t a clue who Zach will go after although I think it would also be Amber and Jameka.

1-2am Round two of Dick and Daniele - this all personal stuff, not game. Round and round they go and nothing changes. Later Amber and Daniele are alone and Amber says she doesn’t care if Dick knows about her deal with Daniele.

12-1am Dick is mad at Daniele for the deal he made with Amber - that she didn’t include him - they have a very loud argument in the HoH room which then changes to being personal and Daniele throws Dick out of her bedroom. He tosses his bags of clothes over the railing and down to the lower floor.
