Big Brother 8 Episode #27 Recap
September 4th, 2007

Recap of the last couple weeks – the Dick, Daniele, Eric and Jessica alliance dominating then Zach winning and Dick and Daniele deciding to make a side deal with Zach. Nominations of Jessica and Jameka.

OPENING CREDITS

Zach explains himself exactly like he did on Sundays show – now we see reactions.

Zach, in the Diary Room (DR) says he is, “Judge, jury and prosecutor to both of them.” He calls himself a “dreamcrusher.”

Jameka feels that Zach has an alliance with Dick and Daniele, Jessica wishes she had tried to get Zach out last week, Eric says this is exactly what Jessica had feared.

Jameka and Jessica talk about Zach’s speech – can’t believe he feels threatened by two girls. They both really want to win the POV.

Daniele goes up to the HoH room to talk to Zach.

They discuss the way Jessica stared at Zach during the nomination ceremony. Then they go on to make fun of the way Eric looks around with his eyes (out the side) and they mimic him.

They discuss the POV competition – they hope Eric doesn’t win it (because if he did Zach would have to nominate Dick or Daniele.

Eric in the living room talks to Jameka about all of his regrets – that he keeps maiking the wrong moves. He indicates that his feelings for Jessica may be becoming more important than the outcome of the game for him.

In the Diary Room he talks about being Amrica’s player and how he is trying to do the right things but how it is turning into a bit of a nightmare for him.

A clip from dinner where Jessica mentions saying as a child she wanted to be the President or a waitress (Daniele is a waitress) – Jessica means nothing bad by it however Dick turns it around and says a Stripper or the President. That sets off Daniele. Dick and Daniele butt heads and she gets up and leaves the table.

Afterwards Dick confronts Daniele about how she didn’t need to be rude towards her, that his comment wasn’t directed towards her. She pretty much ignores him and then walks away from him. You can tell it frustrates Dick. Outside Dick yells that they (BB) should have put him in the house with one of his ex wives.

Eric and Jessica are now shown talking.. they know Eric needs to win the POV – or Jessica (but Eric will be put up if she wins it). They know if Jameka wins it one of them will go home.

-COMMERCIAL-

Janelle enters the back yard (this was early Saturday morning – 12:30am). She examines the back yard which has been set up for the POV competition.

Zach announces it will start shortly, everyone will play. They head out to the backyard which is all decked out in pink. They see a picture of Janelle and Eric says she looks like “Miss Piggy” and “It must be after the weight gain” (not knowing Janelle can hear him). The others giggle at the comment.

Janelle makes her entrance to cheers – Eric appears a bit red-faced.

Janelle describes the competition – it is similar to previous years with the ‘morphing’ face thing except this time two faces are ’swirled’ together and they have to pick the two names and put them on the board, then press a button and move on to the next swirl picture if the two names are correct. 4 minutes to answer as many as you can. The most points in the end wins POV. Before they face the swirling pictures they are spun in a pick chair several times.

Daniele up first she seems to do very well.

Jameka does not get as many as Daniele.

Dick is next and he and Janelle flirt a little

Eric is very dizzy after his spinning, he doesn’t seem to do well.

Zach appears to do second best to Daniele.

Jessica also seems to do well.

Results. Dick – 4 puzzles, Zach – 6, Eric – 3, Jameka-2, Daniele-7, Jessica-4

Daniele wins POV.

Daniele has the power to send Eric, Jessica or Jameka home now.

-COMMERCIAL-

Janelle says goodbye to everyone. Hugs all around.

Back to reality, Daniele says to Dick that Jessica, Eric and Jameka are ‘pissed.’

Daniele high fives Zach in the HoH room. They discuss sending Jessica home so Dick and Daniele only have to compete against Eric for HoH.

Jessica is mad and upset – wants to be left alone (this is said to Eric).

Now we see Dick reflect on Janelle’s comment to him (she said he was ‘hot’) – Daniele can’t believe that Janelle called her Dad ‘hot.’

Eric and Dick talk in the hot tub. Dick talks like Jessica is safe, that Jameka should know she is going to go. In the DR Dick says that Eric is over confident, he and Daniele can send home anyone they want.

Later on Eric talks to Jessica, she says, “If I go, I go.” Jessica says that really Eric should be on the block instead of her. Eric really thinks she is safe and tells her so, they talk some more and end up making out.

-COMMERCIAL-

Eric has to mimic Dick (America’s choice). Eric says it should be a lot of fun. He must mimic Dick on 3 occasion. First time in the back yard. Dick finds it amusing. Second time was a bit later the same night. He basically copies all of Dick’s actions, including spitting. The third time was yesterday morning. They eat cereal and Dick ends up throwing spoonfuls of milk on Eric. (Task Complete)

Dick analyzes the POV options by himself one morning, Daniele comes out and joins him.

Daniele seems to feel Eric has been deceitful yet she and Dick have been ’straight up’ strategically (personally I think they all have been deceitful – but whatever – lol). They think they need to play the POV in a way that they can get the farthest.

-COMMERCIAL-

POV Meeting time.

Daniele announces she the meeting is beginning. Jessica and Jameka speak.

Jameka says she would love for her to use it on her but she will respect her if she doesn’t.

Jessica says it is hard being on the block against Jameka but she would be nice if she used it on her, but if she doesn’t, she understands.

Daniele says it has been a season of ‘back dooring’ and she isn’t going to use it this week.

Nominations remain the same. POV Meeting is over.

Important Stuff Today? Jessica suspects that Daniele and Dick may be voting her out after Daniele screwed up a comment about the next HoH competition. Daniele thinks she has covered her tracks and has told Eric that Jessica is safe. The most important thing about today? 11:55pm  Eric and Daniele talked about former HGs – the most interesting thing I saw was that Daniele said when Nick confronted Jen about Nick reportedly wanting to ‘make out’ with Jen, Jen told Daniele she should go put on make-up because it was going to be on TV.

10:15pm Daniele can’t figure out why Jameka has such a problem with her. Why she seems ok with Dick but not her. My guess is because Dick went to Jameka and said she was going home and Daniele has always been cold to most of the other women.

8:15pm Dick and Zach were discussing Jameka and how she was going to be in the house this next week when we got the blue screen – now it just returned to the feeds and some are inside talking (Eric, Jameka, Jessica) – outside Dick is discussing strategy with Zach and Daniele. Hard to hear over the hot tub noises.

6:45pm Dick has again talked to Jameka, telling her he is sorry she is leaving, not letting her know she may very well stay. Jessica and Eric still have doubts about their alliance with Dick and Daniele. Jameka is off by herself in the hammock.

5:15pm Daniele relates her screw up about 3 vs 4 with Jessica and how Eric has asked if Jessica was safe. Daniele doesn’t feel bad about deceiving Eric because of the “Nick situation” (feeling Eric was responsible for Nick’s eviction).

4:15pm Eric speaks to Daniele and asks her for re-assurance that Jessica is staying this week – Daniele replies, “No worries.”

3:30pm Interesting screw up by Daniele at some point today based on what Jessica told Eric. Jessica thinks she caught Daniele goofing up – she asked her her thoughts on the next HoH competition and Daniele mentioned it will only involve 3 people, then corrected herself and said 4. Jessica thinks that means she is going (and it sounds like Daniele screwed up). So their suspicions are raised again.

1:10pm It has been a quiet day so far on the feeds. Jessica was organizing her clothes, not sure if she was preparing to pack or just getting organized. No real game talk at the moment, Dick, Zack and Eric are asleep it seems. Daniele sunning and Jameka and Jessica inside at the dining room table.

11:35am After almost a 30 minutes trivia session the feeds came back around 20 after and everyone was up.

Daniele tells Zach that Jameka came up to her asking if she had anything to say (apparently about Dick and Daniele voting her out) – Daniele said she might talk to her later. This is probably what got Daniele to suggest Dick there there is a chance she might stay rather than guaranteeing she was leaving.

10:55am Wake up time.

10:35am Dick went back to bed and Daniele worked out, now she is going to lay out and tan it looks like. Everyone else sleeping.

9:15am Dick and Daniele are the only two up. Dick has been up and down all morning, Daniele has been up for a while. They have discussed the plan with Jameka and now Daniele thinks Dick needs to hint to Jameka that she may stay. She wants to secure promises from Jameka to keep then safe through the next eviction (which will be the same night – but they don’t know that.).

5:40am The house is sound asleep.

12am-4am Jameka took a shower, Dick was up talking to Jess and Eric – but Eric seemed more concerned about making the moves on Jessica – who still seems very reluctant to return a ton of affection. It was a very early bed time for the HGs all things considered (that most of them slept in until after 3pm).
