Important Stuff:

• Dick Won Part II of the HoH.
  
• Zach Won Part I around 2:25am. Dick gave in and quit . Part II of the HoH between Dick and Daniele will take place at some point today.
• Howie and Kaysar were on the Live Feeds – Cam 4 @ 9pm Eastern tonight.

11:55pm Danielle ‘quizzed’ Dick the rest of the evening even though most of it was more of the joking kind of quizzing (which HG did America hate the most, etc). Dicked cooked dinner while the crew tore down the competition set up outside.

10:10pm Daniele and Dick are packing. It looks to be a slow rest of the evening.

8:55pm While not crying – Daniele certainly seems to be pouting again. Dick keeps saying they will do it, it will be a fairy tale ending. He feels he knows the jury members better than Zach so he will do well in the final competition. Dick is now off in the Diary Room. Zach just finished showering. Daniele seems to be attacking a tub of ice cream.

8:35pm Part 2 over – Dick won Part 2 – Daniele is mad – Dick says they were ripped off not getting a car – he seems to think there was a car every year since Season 3 (he is wrong).

8:05pm Still Trivia.

7:30pm I assume HoH Part II is going on. We have had trivia for the last 90 minutes.

7:10pm Well that was fun – Laremy actually asked one question I sent in (I was identified as “Ryn” from Bigbrother’s Keeper (the site I write that is listed on ifilm.com). I asked if Kaysar and Howie felt that the show was produced differently now that Arnold Shapiro is no longer associated with the show, they felt is was different. One of them said Arnold was something like the voice of reason, the one that kept people in line.

6:38pm The interview continues – it is pretty interesting – Howie is still very much Howie.

6:04pm Howie and Kaysar are talking on Feed 4. If you want to see it get the feeds – I am not going to recap tonight – I will post youtube links tomorrow. I think Part 2 of the HoH may have begun as well.

5:50pm Daniele and Dick are waiting to start the competition – and there is Laremy, Kaysar and Howie on Feed #4. You can STILL mail in your questions they said! askbigbrother@real.com

5pm Now it appears Dick is in the DR and Daniele is out. I think Zach is asleep.

4:05pm Everyone has been up. Dick doesn’t want Zach to host Part 2. He is also apprently mad that his questions are not being answred in the way he would like. Sounds like he wants them to look at tapes from last night’s competition and they have told him they will do it in 5 days (or that is what he said). He is in his bedroom (round bedroom) pretty mad. Daniele is in the Diary Room.

Correction, Dick was apparently talking about the POV video from last Thursday – the Jameka ball incident.  I have no clue why he cares – the outcome couldn’t have gone any better for him. (Thanks Scott!)

1:50pm Dick and Zach are up – or rather they both were – but Dick looks to be back asleep – Zach appears to have recovered much better than Dick.

11:55am Dick is back in bed – he had a bowl of cereal. Zach got up and went to the bathroom and went back to bed.

11:17am Dick up and to the bathroom – he looks really really sore.

9am Nothing changed. I imagine they will let them sleep in as long as they want.

7:50am Everyone sleeping soundly.

5:30am Everyone is in bed. Dick was extremely cold after the competition, Daniele made Zach and Dick food and hot drinks and they did finally warm up. Dick was in pretty bad shape for a while there. But he is ok now. Who knows when the competition will be today.

2:25am Dick steps down – Zach wins part one.

12:05am Ok – that’s it – no sign of either quitting. I’ll post what is up as soon as I can in th morning!! My guess is it will be Dick that is out before Zach.

12am It continues – Daniele driopped out 2 hours and 20 minutes ago – the rabbit is broken – so Dick and Zach are just standing in cold water holding onto their keys. Dick’s smack talk pretty much ended a while ago.

Big Brother 8 Episode #30 Recap
September 11th, 2007

As always we see the recap ending with Zach nominating Dick and Daniele.

OPENING CREDITS

Julie welcomes everyone – goes over the last week again and introduces a segment on Zach nominating Dick and Daniele.

Zach talks in the Diary Room (DR) that he has to win the POV. Dick starts his mental game on Zach – telling him he is playing for second against any of them.

Jameka thanks Zach for not nominating her.

Zach tells Dick he wasn’t trying to win previous competitions – Dick in the DR says that 2 HoH’s have tried to get him out before and two have failed.

Julie teases the POV competition and announces we will finally get to see the jury house.

Dustin is shown checking out the jury house, says he will enjoy seeing people roll in. He see’s Jen show up and laughs.

Dustin welcomes her to ‘losers paradise.’Jen says they will put everything aside and have a blast.

Amber arrives in the Jury house and hugs Dustin.

Next to the Jury house…..Jessica. She hugs everyone – Amber was shocked and happy. Amber mentions that the only ‘good person’ left in the house is Jameka.

Eric enters the house right after Jessica and they embrace.

They all settle in and watch a DVD of Eric being evicted. Eric is apparently still not allowed to reveal he America’s player.

The talk in the house seems to be very anti Dick and Daniele.

-COMMERCIAL-

Everyone prepares for the POV.

Zach and Jameka are shown praying.

The POV comp is revealed in the back yard.

There is a wall to be filled with clues to evicted HGs. you have to put a face between each pair of clues.

And then you turn a wheel to the face to reveal a number.

After you have solved all the clues and come up with numbers – the # answer will reveal how many seconds they have been in the BB house.

Daniele wins the competition and runsd and hugs her dad. Jameka says, “I’m going home.”

This was Daniele’s 5th POV win and ties her with Janelle.

In the DR Jameka says she has no one to blame but herself.

Dick then rips into Dick and tells him he has lost and there is nothing he can do about it.

Dick continues to bash Zach – telling him he is only playing for second. Zach tells Dick he better get his rear on the treadmill – that he will need it.

Dick apologizes to Jameka and says he would have rather seen her in the final three than Jameka.Back inside the house the rowdiness by Dick continues while Zach sits and listens to him.

It is getting a wee bit tiresome.Julie talks to the HGs.

She congratulates Daniele on her POV wins and talks to Dick about his attack on Zach after the POV competition – Dick says he felt there were things that needed to be brought up.

-COMMERCIAL-

Live POV meeting.

Daniele decides to return the favor and saves Dick from the block. Jameka goes up in her place.

The HGs plea not to be voted out. yadda yadda……

Dick must vote in front of everyone.

Dick says it isn’t a hard decision – he votes Jameka out.

Jameka isn’t surprised and hugs everyone.

Jameka heads out and hugs Julie – inside Dick is still very pleased that Daniele saved him with the POV.

Julie talks to Jameka – she says she may stay in touch with Zach via e-mail but she doesn’t see any phone calls. She feels Dick’s actions towards her faith was strategy but it still hurt her. Her experience in the house was wonderful and she now knows that ‘people are just people.”

Goodbye messages to Jameka. All nice of course.

Julie tells Jameka that she has a new Niece – she sees a picture and is very happy. She is off to the Jury house.

Time for the Endurance HoH. The backyard looks like a pumpkin patch.

Julie has the 3 HGs head outside.

It is called “The bunny hop”

It isn’t pumpkins – it is carrot tops.

They have to stand on the top of a carrot and jump over a rotating rabbit while holding on to their key.

So picture a big circle with a long poll going around.

I dont’ think this will last until 6pm Eastern (Showtime).

Back – they pour ‘rain’ on the Hgs – saying the ‘garden’ needs rain.

11:56pm  I am about done folks – I can’t sit here and wait for the end.  I think Dick will drop first but who knows.  I’d suggest getting the feeds if you can’t wait until tomorrow to see who wins part one.  I’ve been watching this for 5 hour – I have to get some sleep!

11:45pm No talking – no water – I think they also have been told they can no longer switch hands as they have kept the same grip since the water stopped. And on cue the water resumes.

11:40pm The water just stopped. Daniele offers words of encouragement to Dick. Dick looks like he is the weaker one at this point but who can say for sure.

11:25pm No talking and an almost constant stream of cold water. Dick is not jogging at times and shaking a lot.

11:15pm Perhaps BB says we are just going to soak you til someone quits. Dick is now noticeably shivering as he tries to keep ahold of his key. Zach continues to trot in place. The cold water does not stop.

11:10pm The feeds are back – but the bunny is still not working. No conversation at the moment – zach trots in place while Dick just stands still in the cold ‘rain.’

10:37pm Feeds returned for a bit – still no moving rabbit – Dick is still smashing Zach but Zach is now fighting back – while laughing at anything Dick says. If Dick is getting inside Zach’s head it isn’t showing. Now we have more water tunnel.

10:26 20 minutes without the feeds – I think they are fixing the rabbit and done’t want us to see – or hear regular people talk to the HGs.10:08pm We have seen brief splashes of the three – Daniele is back outside in a blanket – she is done it seems. Dick is still laying into Zach sounds like – the rabbit is still not moving.

9:55pm “Mike” the competition coordinator came over the speaker and said they were ‘working on a problem’ – that the competition was still continuing – and then we got the water tunnel. My guess? The rabbit may be broken and they may have to come out to fix it. Just a guess.

9:50pm The rabbit apparently seemed to slow right before it got to Daniele and she mis-jumped. She didn’t seem to argue however and ran right for towels. Then she ran to the shower and is now out and getting clothes. Meanwhile Zach is laughing at Dick while Dick continues to try to intimidate him.

9:40pm Daniele is out.

9:20pm The verbal assault by Dick on Zach continues. Zach is not replying it any of it. Daniele seems to be enjoying it – but then again she always enjoys watching her dad pick on the other HGs.

9:01pm Dick has started the smack talking. Insulting Zach in every way he can. Calling him a pervert, saying that Zach’s ex has a restraining order against him. Calling him a ‘panty muncher’ and more. Ahh – another example of Dick at his finest.

8:55pm During a brief trivia it looks like they were splattered by mud as you can see by the back of Daniele’s legs. They may hold off on the rain for a bit. If I were them I would as I am pretty sure it is what is going to doom Daniele.

8:40pm The “Rain” seems to come about every seven minutes or so and last for 5 minutes. I guess an estimate of 4 or 5 rains an hour would be good. Daniele really seems to have problems with the cold water. That is when you can hear her almost crying. Zach and Dick both look like machines out there. Actually now it looks like they are doing more rain – less gaps between ’storms’ – I dunno if Daniele will make 9pm.

8:30pm Again, no big change – one ‘rain storm’ since my last post which lasted for about 5 minutes. It does appear the ‘rabbit’ has sped up a bit. Perhaps one jump every 8 or 9 seconds now.

8:15pm No real change from 8pm – each HG jumping about every 10 seconds. I’ll time the rain and see if there is a pattern.

8pm Daniele is whimpering a lot. Dick has been trying to encourage her but she says she can’t hear him (during the rain portions). Dick is playing barefoot. Zach and Daniele have shoes on. Zach seems rock steady. Dick looks cold in that tank top. Daniele looks to be very cold. I recall Daniele from BB3 – when she was so cold from the rain.
