As I write this I am sitting here watching Dick on what was Day 7 in the Big Brother house. It is 5:15am and everyone else is sleeping but Dick is up talking to the internet.

Which reminds me, thanks Dick for talking to us and letting us know at least some of what was going on in your mind.

I enjoyed the finale Tuesday night. As I expected the best part was the revelation of America’s Player. I notice they didn’t mention that Eric was paid for doing everything her did. I’d expect some sour grapes from the other HGs sooner or later once they realize Eric places 3rd when you tack on the $40,000 he won doing America’s bidding.

The interviews will be out today and videos as well - I’ll take a peek and share my thoughts later today.

Big Brother 8 Episode #33 Recap
September 18th, 2007

Here we go! The announcer recaps the entire season as we watch Dick and Daniele work their way through the house. The two twists are shown - the ‘enemies’ or ‘rivals’ and “America’s Player.”

Who will be crowned the winner of BB8 and how will people react to the America’s Player?

No credits - we go right to Julie.

Julie says the winner will be crowned soon and America’s player will be revealed.

“But first” we see the jury waiting for the final ‘evictee’ - Zach walks in and they all go ‘awwww.’ Eric tells Zach he would have won 6-1 if he had made the finals.

Now Eric is told as America’s player that he must campaign (and vote) for Dick. He says America has chosen wisely.

Zach and Dustin say they can send a message that playing Dick’s way is not rewarded. Eric says the rules don’t say you don’t have to be a jerk.

Jen says she won’t give him her vote and Amber calls her out because she called a truce with Dick during the show. Eric feels Dick carried Daniele.

Discussing Daniele now - they all seem to agree that she was a strong competitor. Eric points out that Dick won three HoH’s and one POV.

Jessica chimes in that Daniele was just as awful as Dick - she was just more quiet.

Jameka calls Daniele the “pimp” and Dick the “ho.”

Dustin says that either Evil or Evil’s Spawn is going to win.

-COMMERCIAL-

Jury questioning time.

Dustin says hi and asks Dick how he feels about Daniele saying her dad was a terrible person. Dick says he is fine with it and he is just happy to be there at the end with her.

Amber asks Daniele why she should give Daniele her vote after what she did to her boyfriend on national television (with Nick). Daniele says that shouldn’t play a part in her decision and if Amber thinks it should, she doesn’t want her vote.

Jessica asks Dick who he would want to be against if it wasn’t Daniele. Dick says he hadn’t thought of it. He says it was all about geitting there. Dick says he did not lie to Jessica - Jessica says that he did - telling her he was safe - and it will be a hard decision.

Eric asks Dick to list why the people from the Jury deserve to be in the final two. Dick goes through everyone and seems to imply that the only two people that deserve to possibly be in the final two are Eric and Zach.

Zach asks them what they will take from the jury members to their lives outside, Daniele kisses all the jury member’s butts. Dick also seems to fight to find nice things to say about the jury members.

Jameka asks Daniele how she did things without her father - she says that back-dooring Jen was her doing, going after Eric when she was first HoH was all her planning.

Jen says hi and that she doesn’t respect either of them but she has to vote for one of them. She asks Dick if being on BB has helped her fix things with Daniele. Dick is surprised with the Q and answers it that is has helped.

Daniele and Dick both give their final pleas. Daniele’s seems to be pretty basic “its been a great time” whereas Dick seems to argue for why he should win. Dick does finish off by saying “we won.”

Now the jury questioning is over and Daniele tells her dad it was kind of crappy that he campaigned at the end. Dick goes outside and says ’something else for her to be pissed at me about.”

Julie introduces the jury. Dustin, Jen, Amber, Jessica, Eric, Jameka and Zach. They all come out to applause - can’t hear any ‘boos.’

-COMMERCIAL-

Voting begins. They place keys to vote.

Eric says it was an easy choice.

Jameka says her vote will be going to someone’s whose game she respected.

Dustin says ‘actions speak louder than words” - his vote is based on strategic actions.

Jen says she would rather vote for anyone else but she does vote.

Zach doesn’t really say much that makes sense - lol

Amber her vote based on strategy.

Jessica voting for the person she enjoyed the most in the house.

-COMMERCIAL-

Julie welcomes Vincent and Charlotte (Dicks son and mom).

Charlotte says it is a miracle they are talking, she says they make a great team. Vincent says his dad has played his game and it got him far.

The first five HGs are introduced.

Nick gets to say hi to Daniele. Daniele says “awkward!” and Nick agrees.

Carol was proud of how Jessica handled herself. Even though she said some hurtful things.

Joe says it was neat to watch Dustin fall apart - but he also congratulates Dustin. Dustin has nothing to say.

Mike was rooting for Zach.

Kail is not surprised Dick made it so far. She knew Dick and Daniele were strong.

Julie reveals that Eric was “America’s Player” - we see clips of Eric revealing he is America’s player. In the video he explains he never got to cast his own vote. Eric says that Dick owes America a ‘big fat thank you.” He also reveals many of the silly tasks he had to perform. Everyone seems to be enjoying it.

Julie asks Jessica what she was thinking? Jessica says Eric just said, “we can talk later.” She isn’t mad at Eric. Not revealed yet is that Eric was paid.

Dick thought he made a great ‘power play’ in the game and it turns out America also was responsible.

Daniele says she thinks it is hilarious, she says she knew the mustard and votes were Eric and everything else was a shock.

Dustin is not surprised and says Eric could sell anything.

Jameka says it makes total sense.

Jen now knows it was America that was responsible for the mustard.

Eric apologizes to Dustin and Amber that he would have never voted them out. He also tells Jessica that everything they shared was true. That he has been dying to tell her all along.

-COMMERCIAL-

Dick and Daniele are still in the house.

Julie begins to reveal the votes. Winner gets $500k - second place $50k

Eric - Dick

Jameka - Daniele

Dustin - Dick

Jen - Daniele

Zach - Dick

Amber - Dick

Jessica - (not revealed yet)

Dick wins 4-2 - Dick and Daniele hug and head out to the audience.

The former HGs greet Dick and all hug each other - Julie says they will be right back.

-COMMERICAL-

Jessica voted for Dick - final vote 5-2.

Dick is going to go around the world.  Daniele she says she is ecstatic.

You can hear Daniele asking when the ‘wrap party’ is - Julie tells her Thursday.

Thats about it - shows over!

9:01pm The replay appears to have kicked in right on time!

8:15pm Still not sure if the replay has started. Nothing but water on the screens.

7:15pm Waiting for the replay to start. Or perhaps it has started… either way we see a water tunnel.

6:56pm Jessica’s vote was for Dick. So he won 5-2.

6:54pm Dick wins 4-2 (Jen and Jameka voted for Daniele)

2pm Still Trivia.

12:15pm Dick and Daniele went off to bed around 6:30am and then around 10:20am the feeds went to trivia. I guess it is possible that it may be trivia until showtime and that would be it.

5:25am I kid you not, while discussing nicknames for the house guests, Daniele just suggested “Wamber” for Amber. She is so proud of herself, she has no clue that on a lot of sites that has been her nickname for months.

5:15am Dick and Daniele have been playing a ‘game’ all night where they name things about each HG. Catch phrases, hated article of clothing, most annoying habbit, nicknames for each HG, etc etc etc.

They have been laughing because Big Brother tells them to go to bed early every night and every night they stay up late. They don’t think they will be told to get up early.

12:25am-2:25am Another movie night it seems as the feeds were in trivia for 2 hours.

Important Stuff: Most likely nothing ‘important’ today on the feeds.

11:55pm  After eating they play cards and talk about former house guests.  They speculate they may get paid at the wrap party (I kind of doubt it).

8:55pm Waiting until 9pm to eat. I guess maybe Big Brother wants feeding time to be on Showtime? Daniele got up shortly after my last note and after they sat outside for a short bit, Dick and Daniele headed inside and played games of checkers and war.

5:50pm Dick playing solitaire.

2:20pm-5:30pm Dick and Daniele both up for this period. Both took showers and talked again about former HGs. Daniele went back to bed around 5:30pm.

12:30pm They went to bed shortly after my last post, and now Daniele is back up and outside tanning, wearing exactly the same bathing suit as yesterday.

7:25am Both are back up.

5:30am They were both up, again discussing the other HGs for the most part. Daniele seems to be over he feelings of resentment against her dad for his Jury stuff yesterday (I am sure if could easily be re-kindled with a few words). Finally around 20 after 5 they try to go to sleep.

12:40am-4am Feeds blocked while they get to watch their gag reel and a movie (I think).

12-12:40am They prepare to watch a movie (still trying to find out what it is).

Big Brother 8 Episode #32 Recap
September 16th, 2007

This should mainly be a highlights show with a bit from Dick and Daniele. It may be shorter than my usual recap. Due to football - the show started late here. The show begins with the replay of the end of last Thursdays show - as Zach is evicted and Dick is very excited.

OPENING CREDITS

Dick and Daniele celebrate Zach’s eviction. In the Diary Room (DR) Dick says it is a happy ending and with him and Daniele it is a happy start to fix a relationship.

Dick points out no ‘team’ has ever done so well. Daniele in the DR says it was worthit - even though she hit ‘rock bottom’ many times.

BB provides them a dinner and they toast to winning.

Now it is flashback time - Daniele thinks she had the hardest time of anyone - Dick says he will ‘give you that.’ We see Dick come down the stairs at the beginning of the show. So they show us all kinds of flashbacks about the begining of their relationship in the house.

Next up some of Dick and Daniele’s many fights.

Followed up by the stirring re-run of his loss to Zach during the endurance HoH competition.

-COMMERCIAL-

Now Dick and Daniele are in the living room talking about the Jury. Dick thinks Daniele will win, Daniele thinks Dick will win. Dick says that Daniele didn’t attack people like he did.

Cure a montage of Dick attacking HGs. Jen is the first example. Then Dustin with the pan banging. Then Amber, Eric, and Jameka.

Good people vs bad people - Dick calls Amber and Jameka the two preaching Christians. Cue flashback to them both praying.

It concludes with the confrontation between Dick and Jameka right after Jessica has won HoH.

-COMMERCIAL-

Daniele had to move out of the ‘little room’ this weekend. As she started to move stuff out she pointed out that a lot of the final people came from that room (Eric, Zach, Jameka, Daniele) - Dick points out that she spent a ton of time in one corner with Nick. Flashback to Nick and Daniele - ending with what seems to be a kiss under the covers.

Then in the ‘big bedroom’ Dick points out the bed Eric and Jessica spent a lot of time in the last few weeks and we are treated to flash backs about them being together and Eric moving to Kansas.

-COMMERCIAL-

Jens reaction to her ‘bad’ picture is shown again.

Now Dick dumping tea over Daniele’s head.

Jen and the cigarette incident.

FYI - the last two incidents were highly edited by CBS.

Now on to Amber - a crying montage. Followed by the ‘model’ bit they did a few weeks ago. And finally the time she blew up on Eric.

-COMMERCIAL-

Comedy time. Zach streaking. Eric wearing Jessica’s clothes. Jen and Eric Wrestling. Some of the contests.

The mysteries of the house. Mustard, the odd votes.

Dick and Daniele talk about what they are going to do. Dick says he is going to Europe, Daniele too - but Daniele says, ‘not together.’

In the DR Dick says it is a dream come true, a happy ending.
