Important Stuff: Jury questioning went from 12am to around 1:30am.

6:55pm Daniele is up and they are outside waiting for BB to tend to a fire that was in the oven (nothing major). Daniele is expressing how she is frustrated with Dick because he said he was going to act one way in front of the Jury (like a ’screw you’ attitude) but when it came down to it he didn’t act that way. Dick tries to explain himself but you can tell she is still not pleased with him.

6:30pm Daniele has been up for at most two hours today. She is in major moping mode. Dick, without anyone to talk to hasn’t had a lot to say. Right now Dick is trying to get Daniele to get up, telling her all the reasons she should not be upset, that the Jury members are just mad because she is still in the house. Daniele says she just wants to go home.

11am Both Dick and Daniele are now sleeping. Dick since around 8am.

2am-7:30am Dick is mostly up - mad - not happy with the situation. Finally goes to bed around 7:30am.

1:40am-2am Dick and Daniele discuss the jury questions. Seems like the feeling Dick and Daniele both got is that the Just sees Daniele as just riding Dick’s coat tale and that he had the harder time of it in the house.

Daniele was not very happy about that at all and ended up going to bed crying. Dick is mad because he should feel happy and yet he is upset that Daniele is mad.

12am-1:40am Just questioning - feeds were blocked.

Important Stuff: Jury Questioning Tonight?

8pm Dick and Daniele are both now up and although I have no absolute confirmation, it seems like they may be doing the Jury questions tonight.

2:30pm Daniele sitting outside, Dick… Still sleeping (yes it is a new picture - he hasn’t moved much).

12:40pm Daniele is in the shower - Dick is sleeping. Their sleeping habbits are completely screwed up. They were both up until around 7am but also slept some during the night. Conversation has been pretty lite. Daniele seems to want to be alone more than Dick.

Early this monring there was apparently the LA walk/run event and it started right near he studio. Dick could hear the speakers discussing it and made fun of them.

Important Stuff: Nothing Important Will Happen Today! lol

9:50pm Again, no big news. Currently Daniele is napping and Dick is playing with a game set BB gave them by himself.

5pm Dick and Daniele have both been in the DR today, seems to me they are already having a bit of difficulty being th eonly two in the house, or rather Daniele is as she seems to be a bit short with Dick at times. But right now they are getting along fine sitting out back.

1:30pm Dick and Daniele finally rolled out of bed shortly before 1pm Dick is now cleaning while Daniele is sitting outside staring off into space. Really.

10am No change - both still sound asleep.

5:50am Dick and Daniele are sleeping. Between the time I stopped watching last night and now all they did was re-hash old events and Dick continued to bounce off the walls, reminding us time and time again that he and Daniele won $550,000.

Big Brother will most likely let them sleep in again as long as they want today. I think the Jury questions won’t happen until Saturday or Sunday.

Big Brother 8 Episode #31 Recap
September 13th, 2007

Here we go! Recap of the previous goings on. Jameka evicted and part one of the endurance competition began.

OPENING CREDITS

Julie greets us - says we will see if Zach can take on the “Dominant Duo.”

We now see the endurance HoH where it was left off Tuesday.

In the Diary Room (DR) Dick says the goal was to not let Zach win Part I or II. Daniele says she told her dad she was not going to be able to handle cold water - we then see the water start on the HGS.

We see Dick start the mental/verbal assault on Zach. Meanwhile Daniele is freezing. It is 2 hours 47 minutes into the competition. Daniele steps back, and falls off the pedestal - she is eliminated.

Daniele is crying and goes inside and takes a hot shower.

Finally Zach starts laughing at Dick for all his attacks. CBS fails to mention that the Rabbit stopped working after it knocked Daniele off and never worked again.

Time is shown as 4 hours and 30 minutes - Daniele is rooting her dad on from the side.

5 hours and 30 minutes - Dick tells Zach he is doing well.

7 hours - Dick tells Daniele he is really hurting. He says he does not want to quit. Daniele continues to encourage Dick. Daniele tells Dick that Zach is hurting too and he has no one there for him.

Gotta hand it to CBS - they make Dick out to be a hero. He quits at 7 hours and 32 minutes - with lots of sappy piano music. The music sounds like the end of a big battle. Daniele tends to his fallen father (OH PLEEEAASSSEEEE - uggghhhhhh).

In the round bedroom Daniele comforts Dick - she tells him all that matters is round #2 and beating Zach in round three.

In the DR Zach says he finally managed to break Dick.

-COMMERCIAL-

Now we see Round 2 which took place last night. Daniele goes to the back yard and finds two large tanks of water with a bridge between them. The theme is ‘chain of command.

You move pieces of a puzzle with red lines on them from one tank to another and assemble them in order to link the red lines between the faces of HGs in the order they were HoH.

Daniele’s time 24 minutes 12 seconds.

Dick’s time 12 minutes 48 seconds.

Zach and Dick will face off in the 3rd round.

Dick tries to comfort Daniele - she says her time was embarrassing.

Julie talks to the remaining HGs. Daniele says she and Dick still have issues outside the house. Dick said he lasted so long because she was there. Zach says his brain was numb to Dick’s verbal assault - just like the rest of his body.

-COMMERCIAL-

Jury house time.

Jessica and Eric still flirting. Dustin and Amber say they are in love. Jameka enters the hosue. Everyone is disappointed.

Back to Eric and Jessica - Dustin says the walls are thin.

Jameka pulls out the DVD of the last ‘week.’

They applaud Zach standing up to Dick.

Dick wins the final HoH.

Dick screams, “We won this thing!” (um, Dick, the finale isn’t until Tuesday - CBS would prefer you hold off a bit on the celebrating!)

-COMMERCIAL-

Hgs plea - Zach says he does not expect Dick to use it. Daniele says she would not be there without him. She would be honored to be sitting with him in the final two.

Dick votes out Zach. Dick yells ‘its over - we won!’ Zach hugs them.

Zach heads out.

In the house Dick keeps yelling ‘it doesn’t matter.’

Julie interviews Zach. He says he decided to lay low when the first alliance was broken up. He thought he could get in good with others later and when it didn’t work out he had to play for himself.

He says Dick’t tactics were horrible but effective. Zach says it will take a while to get to know the outside the house.

Zach said he knew the POV meant everything but he nominated Dick and Daniele for jury sympathy.

Dick and Daniele say goodbye - its all jury butt kissing as far as I am concerned.

Sunday Dick and Daniele talk about the season (I heard it would be a ‘highlight’ show).

Tuesday the vote and Eric is revealed as America’s player.

Important Stuff: Dick Wins Part III and with it the final HoH. Dick Won Part II of the HoH Last Night.

11:55pm  Lots of talk but nothing worth ‘reporting’ - its all about how well they did and re-analyzing things in the house.

8:45pm Ok folks - I am checking out for the night. Dick can’t stop yelling “We did it!” and “I’m still here!” etc etc etc. Daniele already told him she still doesn’t want to talk about “things” and bristled when he started to get into it even a little tonight (outside the house stuff). I’d expect at least one good fight about it inthe next 5 days.

8pm I was wrong - feeds are back (came back around 10 minutes ago) - Dick and Daniele are eating dinner and celebrating. Dick says he thinks Daniele will win, Daniele thinks Dick will. Daniele says it doesn’t matter.

6:50pm I expect “Trivia” until 9pm.

6:06pm The feeds returned briefly and it sounds like Dick and Daniele may have already been given instructions to talk about all the former HGs so they can prepare Sunday’s “Highlights” show. What I heard Dick say was, “Lets start with Carol.” (referring to their favorite moments with each HG).

Then feeds went back to Trivia.

5:47pm Dick votes out Zach.

5:41pm Dick wins the final HoH - beating Zach by one point.

4:58pm Still Trivia - time for the LIVE SHOW. My Live Show Recap Is On This Page

3:50pm Feeds cut to water at 2:30 followed by trivia a few minutes later. I would assume that is it for the live feeds until there are only two HGs left.

2:20pm Just over 2 1/2 hours to showtime. No clue what Zach is up to. Oh wait - there he is - in the bathroom . So Dick is the only one sleeping. For some reason the camera’s would rather just sit on a sleeping Dick than show us Zach. Hmmmmm.

2pm Daniele is showering, Dick is sleeping. Dick has really done NOTHING today.

12:40pm Back inside - all four caps point at Dick sleeping.

10:15am Hgs are up and on an outside lockdown. Here is a great parody video Vee from Tvclubhouse pointed out to me.

8:30am Everyone alseep.

7am Dick and Daniele went to bed around 5:45am but were up a bit longer as Dick noticed somone forgot to close a curtain behind the mirrors and they apparently could see into the area on the other side of the wall. Eventually BB caught on and closed it. Now everyone is sleeping.

5am Zach is sleeping and Daniele and Dick are up sitting at the small table. Daniele is quizzing Dick to help him with tonight’s competition.

12am-5am - Zach sleeping and Dick and Daniele going over things that went on in the house for the quiz today. Earlier it had been silly questions but they are serious now. That is about all they do all night - besides a little laundry. We do find out that they were swimming in the Pt 2 of the HoH competition - at least 2 tanks in the back yard.
