Evicted HG To Return - All Signs Point To Endurance Competition.
March 12th, 2008I will be recapping tonight’s show LIVE on this page - click.
Tonight one of the evicted house guests (HGs) will return to the Big Brother house. Based on what I have heard it should be Alex if the producers select the one the public wants to see return. When the former HG rejoins the show tonight there will almost certainly be an endurance competition to crown the next HoH - and if the producers follow previous seasons, the returning HG will be allowed to participate in the Head of Household competition too.
There have been three other instances of a former HG retuning, three if you count Sharon’s return this season when Neil had to leave the show.
The first instance was during Big Brother Three. Amy Crews was voted out and came back in by popular vote of the HGs. She participated in, and won, that night’s HoH competition with involved staying in a tub filled with all kinds of vile things like dead fish and eels. Even though the initial plan by the HGs was to vote Amy out right away (”Operation Revolving Door”), Amy’s second stay actually lasted over a month before she was voted out for a second time.

The second time a house guest came back was during Big Brother 6 when fan favorite Kaysar Ridha was voted back in the house by the public. He participated in the HoH competition which involved holding a button down. Kaysar and Jennifer were the final two contestants and Jennifer promised not to nominate Kaysar so he let her win. She then nominated him after the Power of Veto was used and Kaysar was voted out one week after he returned.
The house guests have been on an ‘inside lockdown’ since early Tuesday evening. Although it isn’t proof that there will be an endurance competition - it seems that all signs are pointing that way since there hasn’t been one since the show began with the exception of the initial one that was not shown on the live feeds because the show had not started.
