Big Brother 9 Episode #12 Recap
March 9th, 2008
Show begins with a recap of events leading up to tonight’s show. Allison evicted and Ryan wins HoH.
Opening Credits.
We see yet again the events from last Wednesday and see the HGs reactions in the Diary Room (DR) - everyone seems pretty excited to not have to be playing with a partner. Specifically Matt moved right away to the opposite side of the couch from Natalie.
We see Allison evicted 6-0. Shelia cries in the DR - sorry she could not help Allison (yet she didn’t give her one vote?).
Ryan wins HoH. Joshua and Sharon are very worried that they will be nominated as revenge for having nominated Ryan and Allison.
Matt is excited to not be a partner with Natalie - Natalie thinks Matt is just teasing (it is implied that Natalie is psycho by the music played).
Chelsia and James are having a hard time adjusting to being separate now. James is very worried that she is going to align herself with Ryan and others and we see her laughing and joking with both Ryan and Matt shortly after Wednesday’s show.
–COMMERCIAL–
Natalie reads the bible and interprets what it means towards Joshua. With Natalie the music seems to be contemplative - then we see Joshua outside praying - cue organ music like last year.
Ryan gets his HoH room.
Shelia still upset about Allison leaving - tells Adam that she is scared. That she can’t hang out with and talk to the other girls. In the DR Adam can’t understand why she is suddenly coming to him and cryng. Unlike Shelia he feels good about the changes.
James and Chelsia have a heart to heart and reconcile after the separation of couples - they seem to truly care about each other and hope each other wins if they don’t.
Shelia now has her own bed and is very happy about that.
Matt talks to Ryan. Matt tries to explain himself - saying he voted to evict Ryan as a way to keep Joshua from getting to cast the final vote. They talk about an alliance - and then they call over Adam - then James is also added to the mix and they call is the “Bro” alliance.

A quickie showing how Natalie thought there were 27 letters in the alphabet (she counts the word “and” between Y and Z.
Food competition time. This was actually shown on the live feeds on Friday and you can read the details on this page. Chelsia, Sharon, Joshua and Shelia all end up on slop for the week.

Joshua pulls Ryan aside and promises him that he won’t nominate Ryan if he gets HoH as long as Ryan doesn’t nominate him.
A little segment dedicated to Joshua’s dancing.
The four bro’s discuss whom to put up - Sharon is on Ryan’s mind. James suggests Chelsia as the second - in part to show the four guys that he is playing on his own.

Nomination time - I’m going to cut to the chase here - Ryan nominates Chelsia and Sharon.
POV Ceremony and Competition will be shown on Tuesday - and lets just say a TON has gone on since the Nomination ceremony took place on Thursday.
