Big Brother 9 Episode #13 Recap

The show begins with the usual recap leading up to the nomination of Chelsia and Sharon.
Opening Credits
Reaction to the nominations - Chelsia is nervous - Josh is revealed. James talks about how he gave Ryan the idea (this all was in the Diary Room).
Sharon talks to Shelia and Josh - how she expected it because the guys were sticking together.
Ryan talks to Josh - says he will not put him up if the POV is used. Josh says he won’t nominate Ryan - and says that he won’t nominate Ryan. In the Diary Room (DR) Josh says until Matt is out of the house he can’t completely trust Ryan.
Chelsia talks to James, says she can’t trust that everyone ‘has her back.’
The HGs discuss what they might do with the $500k and Matt talks over Natalie and ticks her off (yet again).
Natalie goes down to Shelia, Sharon and others and complains about the way Matt treats her - Josh runs and gets James and suggests they suggest ‘back dooring’ Matt to Ryan. They decide to offer Ryan 2 weeks of safety if he puts up Matt.
In the bathroom Matt apologizes to Natalie and just like that she rats out Josh, Shelia, James and Sharon - that they are plotting to get Ryan to back door Matt.
Matt runs up and tells Ryan. Matt says he wants to just play along and fool the others into thinking it will happen.
–COMMERCIAL–
–COMMERCIAL–Josh approaches Ryan as expected. Josh gives him the proposition with the two weeks free from being nominated. He asks Ryan to do it and tell Matt he is just a pawn - then they would vote Matt out.
Ryan reveals to Josh that the plan was already leaked to him by Matt via Natalie (ok - they edited out a bit but it is accurate enough). Josh takes that info and leaves.
Josh tells Chelsia and Shelia that Natalie leaked the info and they are both upset.
Matt comes and talks to Ryan - Ryan lies to Matt and doesn’t tell him that Josh did present the plan. In the DR Ryan says if the whole house wants Matt out - he may have to back door him.
POV selection time. Ryan gets to choose a HG - he selects Adam (not Matt which some expected). Chelsia draws Shelia’s name. Sharon draws Joshua’s name.
Josh, James, Sharon, Chelsia all meet with Ryan and promise him two weeks of safety. He seems to be on board. Adam is the only one out of the loop.
–COMMERCIAL–
The POV competition involves shooting an oversized pool ball towards a POV hole. The player farthest away is eliminated. When you are eliminated you get a prize - one being the POV. But you may not get to keep it - those eliminated after get to take a new prize or one from someone else. The game is called “The Color Of Veto.” Matt is hosting.
The first person out was Shelia. Shelia wins the POV as her prize.
Next is Sharon - she draws a motorcycle and trades it with Shelia for the POV.
Joshua is out next - he draws a ‘letter from home.’ He decides to keep it.
Adam is out and gets $10,000. He takes the motorcycle and gives Shelia the $10k. Shelia was very moved.
Ryan wins the last round. Shelia draws a slop pass and trades it for the POV from Sharon.
Ryan pulls the last prize and it is a red unitard. He trades it with Shelia for the $10k.
Shelia is not pleased to say the least. In the DR she says she was devastated.
Joshua says he was happy Shelia won the POV meaning Matt would go up. Matt feels completely safe.
–COMMERCIAL–
Again we see Shelia is very disappointed to have lost the 10k.
James and Chelsia celebrate her winning the POV. James joins them in the storage room and then Sharon and they let her in on the plot to back door Matt. Ryan comes in and re-assures her as well.
Shelia puts on the unitard.
Talking about the POV game - Shelia mentions that she could have used the 10k and Chelsia says she shouldn’t play the ’single mom card.’ (Now I had never seen that but now that I do I don’t think Chelsia meant it in a really mean way - she seemed to mean it in more of a ‘take my advice and don’t do that because you will look bad’ - but to hear Shelia tell it you would think she yelled at Shelia.)
We then see Shelia complaining about Chelsia’s comment to Adam. She takes that comment and decides that James, Chelsia, Sharon and Josh don’t really care about them and she needs to do something about it. Then she talks to Natalie and says almost the same thing. She feels that ‘they are coming after one of us.’
Shelia gets Ryan alone and talks to him - explaining that she thinks Josh is running the group and they are playing him (Ryan). Ryan says he feels he is next after two weeks. Shelia says they have his back and he needs to stick with them (Shelia, Adam, Matt and Natalie).
–COMMERCIAL–
–COMMERCIAL–POV meeting time. In the DR Chelsia says it is time for Matt to leave. Also in the DR Josh says he has pulled off the biggest strategic move in BB history. Josh says the house is in charge and he is the house.
Chelsia runs the meeting and decides to use it on herself.
Ryan has to replace Chelsia. Ryan says he is forced to make a difficult decision - that the house is divided and he has to put up one of his ‘bros.’
Ryan nominated James and you can tell half of the house is shocked. Matt is all smiles and struts around talking about how they got played. Finally Ryan tells Matt to cool off.
Not show - this drama went on for about 2 hours - I am sure they will show some more of the fallout on tomorrow night’s show.
