Big Brother 9 Episode #18 Recap

Show was delayed due to NCAA Basketball.
It begins with the usual recap - we see Matt voted out, and Adam win HoH.
Opening Credits
We see Matt voted out - Natalie hugging him, asking him for another and he doesn’t give her one. After he is gone Ryan hugs her and says, “Sorry.”
Lots of Diary Room (DR) stuff. Natalie knows the game is over for Matt. Adam says the alliances are now well defined and he is with Ryan, Sheila and Natalie. Joshuah feels safe with Ryan and their secret alliance.
Now DR reaction to Adam winning HoH. Adam doesn’t want to have to make decisions and put a target on himself. Sheila says Adam can be a hero. Natalie is all excited. Chelsia and James are both bummed.
Post live show - Natalie and Sharon congratulate Adam quietly. Joshuah comes and talks to him as well - kissing his butt. In the DR Adam says he doesn’t want to deal with all the fakeness.
Now Ryan talks to Adam - says they (Adam and Ryan) are still working together.
Natalie sits and stares at Matt’s photo. In the DR she says he is the one person she could trust (lol). She says she has to be strong now - but she us used to it.
With the group in the house Natalie talks about Matt being upset when he left and that is why he pushed her away. She is used to getting close to guys and then ‘them departing.’
Natalie talks to Chelsia and tells her that she is mad at James for breaking his word. Chelsia says they she is playing for herself.
Ryan and Natalie huddle now and she tells Ryan she is rest to play. Ryan says they have to keep on Adam because he is easily swayed by others.
–COMMERCIAL–
1st bit back after the commercial is about Sharon and the Guinea pigs. We see her feeding them and calling them “BEE BEES” (baby’s) - Joshuah and Adam hate it - then BB pulls their funniest bit of the season and has the Guinea Pigs saying Sharon is nuts and needs to go on the block. Kudos to whomever came up with that one (I’m going to edit it out of my recording and post it on youtube tonight - too funny)!
Adm’s HoH room time. He got lots of babyfood. In the DR he claims that he likes it - but not that much - Natalie hopes he will share some with her.
Who is going to go up? Joshuah decides to mess with Sheila’s head - says that Adam is considering Joshuah vs Sheila. Sheila says she wasn’t expecting that. Joshuah plants the thought of putting Sheila up in Adams head (Adam really never intended to put up Sheila as far as I know). Joshuah secures his own safety with promises to have Adam’s back.
Adam and Joahuah - who were outside talking, head in and mess with Sheila. She tells Adam to do whatever he wants - but she can’t understand why he would do that to her.

–COMMERCIAL–
Luxury Competition…. This took place at 12am Thursday (about 5 hours after the live show ended Wednesday). The HGs are all dressed up. Adam tells them they will be competing to watch the new movie “21.” They are all excited.
They head out to the back yard which is set up like a casino. Adam tells them they will have to count cards and pick the ones that add up to 21. 1st player to win 4 chips wins and gets to bring 3 other HGs with him/her.
This is very confusing to explain in type so I’ll just tell you who wins / loses.
Ryan gets the first chip.
James is wrong and is eliminated.
Adam wins a chip.
Sharon is wrong - eliminated.
Ryan wins another Chip
Joshua is eliminated (hmmm).
Natalie wins a chip.
Ryan wins a third chip.
Ryan wins a 4th chip. He wins the screening.
Ryan invites Adam, Natalie, and James (ok - something weird is going on).
Ah - here it is - Adam announces that Ryan can go for a $21,000 prize package if he wants to - but he will risk the screening of 21. One hand of Blackjack and if he loses the other four HGs get the screening.
–COMMERCIAL–
Ryan gambles and goes for it.
Ryan - 9, 9 - has 18
Dealer has 3 showing - Ryan should Stay and does.
Deaker gets a 10, then a 6 - 19 beats 18.
Joshuah, Chelsia, Sheila and Sharon get to watch the movie.
Bible time with Natalie. She sees things to do with the number 8. She rushes off and tells Sheila. She wants to fin 8 group of 8 (this is actually from weeks ago).
The HGs see the table has now shrunk.
Adam considers who to put up - Natalie hounds him that he HAS to put up two people from the ‘other’ alliance (James, Chelsia, Joshuah and Sharon).

Nomination time - here is the order the keys were pulled.
Natalie, Sharon, Ryan, Joshuah, Sheila — Adam nominates James and Chelsia (totally expected).
Adam feels that by doing what he did the house will be evened out.
In the DR Natalie says it is payback. Adam says he nominated them for Matt. Chelsia says whichever of them doesn’t leave will pay Adam back.
