Big Brother 9 Episode #2 Recap

The show kicks off with a recap of last night’s show. Jen and Parker with the “Power Couple” title.
Sharon says she and Parker hit it right off so she doesn’t think she will be going home any time soon.
Adam is very worried because he knows he and Sheila have been disrupting the house.
We see Adam describing his job to Matt and Natalie with Shelia there - he calls some the the people he works with ‘retards’ and Sheila gives him grief - he says he works with them all day and can call them whatever he wants. Adam seems to not have a problem with it and Shelia is not pleased at all.
Back in the house we see Shelia badmouthing Adam, saying she doesn’t want to leave but Adam is creeping her out.
Outside on the hammock Parker talks to Jen - he says Sharon didn’t tell him exactly but he figured out it was Ryan. Parker calls him the ‘real snake.’ Jen decided to tell Parker that she and Ryan are a couple in order to save him from Parker’s wrath.
Shelia confronts Adam some more and he is mad that she is trying to go after him on it.
Now on to Ryan - he and Allison talk, we see Ryan checking out Jen and Allison checking out Ryan. In the Diary Room (DR) Allison says she is attracted to Ryan. Then we see Ryan and Jen talking in whispers and finishing up by sneaking a kiss.
–COMMERCIAL–
Alex and Amanda… We see them touching and flirting with each other - both say separately that they are attracted to one-another.
Outside at the pool table Jacob talks to Adam and Ryan. Jacob bad mouths Parker - calling him a snake. Jen joins them and Jacob continues to bash Parker, calling him heartless. In the DR Jen says that she is worried that Jacob is bad mouthing her partner.
Jen goes and talks to Joshua - tells him what Jacob was saying. Parker comes in and she relates the same thing to him. Parker goes outside and confronts Jacob on his comment.
Parker wants to know who called him a snake - (Jacob has implied someone else did it). Parker proceeds to wake up the entire house to find out who called him a ’snake.’
Parker talks to everyone in the living room - asking them who called him the names. Jacob says he will not call the person out - no one else will admit to it - so people say that he is either a liar or he won’t “man up.” No one admits to it and in the DR Sharon is upset - saying that Jacob made them a big target. Sharon bawls out Jacob later as they go back to bed.
–COMMERCIAL–
Parker pulls Sharon upstairs to quiz her on the “Snake” comment. She says she can’t tell him - but implies if he guesses she will give him a signal. He starts naming names. Finally he guesses Ryan and she indicates it was him.
Outside Parker talks to Jen and tells her what he suspects about Ryan. Jen becomes worried that Parker will want Ryan out so a bit later she reveals to Parker that she and Ryan have been dating for almost a year. Parker says he is ok with it and Jen re-assures Parker that she will remain loyal to him (Parker) and she wants to win with him.
Ryan walks over and Jen tells him that Parker knows about them. In the DR Ryan says he can’t believe Jen gave up the secret so fast. Ryan decides that he has to tell Allison too to be fair. Allison is a bit more shocked than Parker was. Allison also questions the loyalty. She doesn’t feel she can trust Ryan. We see each one pretty much say they can’t trust the other.
–COMMERCIAL–
Funny bit time… Shelia complains about Adam’s snoring. We see her complain and Jen, in the DR says she is too negative.
The plasma screen announces that there will be an eviction today. Parker and Jen are distressed about having to kick someone out.
Parker does most of the talking as they stand before the group. Jen cries as she announces that Jacob and Sharon are gone, apparently based on the incident when Parker woke everyone.
They hug everyone and leave. Julie apparently does not greet them, they are just gone.
Jen is upset about having to kick out Sharon.
Shelia is happy to still be in the house. Adam thinks he needs to keep playing ’stupid.’
–COMMERCIAL–
HoH competition - everyone is eligible. Eric and Jessica are brought in to run the competition.
The competition sounds like the Dating Game. Highest number right to six questions wins. I am not going to recap this… it is rather silly. And I am still watching it and it was REALLY stupid and dragged out. And Eric drives me bonkers when he furrows his eyebrows.
Alex and Amanda end up winning.
Show ends with them speculating whom Alex and Amanda might nominate.
