Big Brother 9 Episode #3 Recap

The show kicks off with a recap of last Wednesday’s show. Alex and Amanda win HoH.
Opening Credits.
Once again – Amanda and Alex new HoH. In the Diary Room (DR), Alex reveals that he didn’t want to win it because he didn’t want to make nominations.
The Hgs return inside the house to see their pics on the memory wall. Amanda is not happy with it, however she doesn’t cry. Jen points out that her picture is the first one on the board and that means she will win (which doesn’t go down well with some other HGs). Parker, as Jen’s partner, is very upset she said that.
Parker pulls Jen into a back bedroom and tells her off, she apologizes for it.
We then see Joshua and Allison complaining about it as well. In the DR Allison says that she is still upset that she is paired with someone that has a girlfriend in the house. Allison and Parker talk about being paired with Jen and Ryan. Allison says that she is mad that she is sort of being forced to work with Jen and Ryan (oh thats right – I forgot that on the TV show – the only ones that know Jen and Ryan are dating is Allison and Parker).
Allison tells Jen that she will ‘out’ her and Ryan if she (Jen) attacks her (as in talks bad about Allison).
Later when Allison and Ryan are alone Allison asks for loyalty from Ryan. He seems to promise it to her.
Moving right along we see Amanda talk about her father committing suicide when she was 21.
And just as fast – we see Amanda and Alex getting the HoH room.
Alex has a cross made of steel from the world trade center, he lost his father on 9/11. Amanda cries because she got her father’s favorite CD to listen to in the house.
Allison is still upset with the partner situation. Jen and Parker tell he she needs to keep the secret, in the DR Allison says she doesn’t want to play ‘their’ game (to keep the secret about Jen and Ryan).
–COMMERCIAL–
Ahh, again we see how this season is pushing the limits. Adam is uncircumcised and everyone is laughing about it. He apparently gave Jen a peek since Jen had not seen one before.
Allison talks to Shelia in the storage room and hints that there is stuff going on she can’t tell.
Parker and Jen are worried that Allison will expose them so they talk about outing them before Allison can.
Parker tells Alex and Matt in the HoH room. In the DR Alex says Parker must have known this for 2 days – that means this happened at least on Sunday – or Monday.
Now they reveal the same info to Amanda and Natalie (these 4 were in an alliance with Parker and Jen at this point).
Matt tells Allison that some of them know about the relationship – Allison is mad that Jen and Parker told some of them without even letting her know.
Allison confronts Jen and she says they did it because they thought Allison was going to do it. Allison says that she wasn’t. Ryan is also in agreement it seems and against Allison. Allison tells Shelia in front of them and Shelia confirms that Allison never told her – I think Jen has assumed Allison HAD told Shelia.
–COMMERCIAL–
Allision tells Neil and Joshua. Neil and Joshua and Amanda decide to call everyone together to see if there are any other relationships in the house. They all deny any other relationships.
Matt and Alex feel pretty tight – they feel there are a lot of weak people in the house. They promise each other to try to take the other to the ‘end.’ They bring in Amanda and Natalie and exclude Jen and Ryan. Matt suggests putting up Jen/Parker against Ryan/Allison to eliminate one of the couple.
–COMMERCIAL–
Allison and Shelia decide to pretend to be lesbians for the fun of it. The pull Joshua aside and tell him they are in a ‘relationship.’ Joshua says he is freaked out – says he is in complete disbelief. In the DR Josh seems to be so confused. He runs off to tell Neil. Joshua tells Neil that he believes them. Then Allison and Shelia tell Chelsia and the include more info, that they have adopted a child.
Sheila talks to Parker about Adam. She feels she is at a huge disadvantage with him as a partner. Alex overhears it and tells Shelia that unlike her, Adam is not badmouthing her. Sheila claims she isn’t badmouthing him (but she is). Adam then confronts her and she gets all mad and tears into him and storms off.
Some people feel that the fight might be enough to get Adam and Sheila nominated.
–COMMERCIAL–
Nomination time. Allison is worried because the secret about Jen/Ryan came out. Adam says if he is nominated it is Shelia’s fault.
Nominations are made and wee see the nomination box – the keys are removed in pairs. Here is how it went.

Joshua and Neil
Jen/Parker and Ryan/Allison are nominated.
Alex and Amanda explain that Ryan and Jen have an advantage – so they need to break up that couple.
In the DR – reactions. Allison says she will do what she can to get Jen out. Ryan says he knew if the secret got out – they would be nominated. Parker feels that Jen will screw it up.
Amanda and Alex look forward to the drama to take attention away from them.
Show is over – next show is Tuesday @ 9pm.
