Big Brother 9 Episode #9 Recap

Show begins with a recap of the last week ending with the eviction of Alex and Amanda and Joshua and Sharon winning the Head of Household.
Opening Credits
Post eviction and before the HoH competition - James is happy with the eviction of Alex and Amanda.
Then we see pre-eviction - how Joshua is mad about the switching of the votes before the HoH competition. Joshua fires up Sharon for the HoH competition - and then we see them run the table on the others and win HoH. Joshua says he is mad at Allison for changing her vote ‘at the last minute’ (in reality it was planned for a couple days).
We see the aftermath of Joshua and Sharon winning the HoH.
In the Diary Room (DR) Joshua says that Allison is going home.
Post HoH Joshua vebally goes after Joshua. Ryan feels that he was not justified in his actions- he calls Joshua psychotic. In the DR Joshua seems to blame Allison’s ‘lie’ about being a lesbia as one reason he really hates her (Never heard this before tonight).
We see more verbal harassing by Joshua and then see Allison in the DR complaining about Joshua (not shown is that she claims Joshua made threats to ’strangle’ her). Ryan tries to help her work through it in the bathroom while Joshua talks to others and says what he did wasn’t wrong in another room.
–COMMERCIAL–
Allison tells off Matt and Ryan for not sticking up for her. In the DR Ryan says he saw a different side of Allison, that she was trying to put him on a guilt trip.
Sharon and Joshua get their HoH room and Allison doesn’t join everyone, she goes to bed.
One more bit about the lesbian lie - we see Shelia, Adam and Sharon discussing the whole lesbian lie and Joshua talking about how offended she was. Shelia lies and says that it was all just a joke to her (Shelia didn’t want to tell everyone it was a lie - she was the one that insisted they reveal the lie - but it is being edited to make it seem like it was all Allison’s idea).
Ryan confronts Allison about her lie - Allison seems not to care anymore - she seems to have given up in a why and just smiles at Ryan.
–COMMERCIAL–
We re-visit Matt and Natalie - this is from Feb 14th - almost 2 weeks ago. What is not shown in that Natalie had just performed oral sex on Matt. All we see is them cuddling and Matt telling her not to get emotionally attached.
Food competition. Women wear asparagus colored unitard, men aprons. The entire backyard is filled with asparagus - each male HG must try to match their partners weight in asparagus. The win selected food categories if they are within 10 pounds. 4 groups in all.
The results….
James & Chelsia - Chelsia weighs 117 - the asparagus weighed 118. Beverages and Snacks for the week.
Adam & Shelia - Shelia weighed 131 - the asparagus weighed 140. Veggies and Fruit for the week.
Matt & Natalie - Natalie weighed 116 - asparagus weighed 99. No carbs or a feast for the week.
Ryan & Allison - Allison is 120lbs - asparagus weighed 110. Meat and cheese for the week.
Competition ended with an asparagus fight - Chelsia said it was nice to all work together towards a goal.
–COMMERCIAL–
Natalie paints Joshua’s portrait with nail polish (that was last Monday).
Allison and Joshua exchange insults.
Joshua calls a meeting in the HoH room with everyone except Allison and Ryan. Joshua wants a decision on what to do - he wants to nominate and evict Allison and Ryan. Everyone in the HoH room seems to agree with the idea. In the DR Matt seems concerned that he may be used as a pawn again.
Downstairs Allison says that she can ‘flip’ Joshua back to liking her. She goes upstairs and apologizes to Joshua. Joshua tells Allison that a big reason was the ‘lesbian’ lie (I really don’t think that is the reason - Joshua was mad that Allision lied to her about voting Alex and Amanda out and refused to switch the votes to save them). Allison promises to do whatever Joshua wants to stay in the house, Joshua doesn’t budge. In the DR he says she is ‘groveling to the gods’ at this point.
–COMMERCIAL–
Nomination time. Joshua and Sharon go through the lines for the nomination ceremony.
Here are the order that the keys were revealed.
Adam and Shelia are safe.
Chelsia and James are safe.
Matt and Natalie and Allison and Ryan are nominated. Sharon says that they feel they are the two strongest players. Joshua says the nomination ceremony is over.
Matt says he is mad that he is nominated again. Ryan says that it is Allsion’s fault he is nominated.
