Just a few things to let you know about. Since quite a few of you probably are not looking at the top part of the board, I want to post here where we can keep you up to date on some things going on.
First, I just want to let you know there is another Big Brother area on the board - TVCH Exclusives.
It is outside of the Big Brother Area and just a suggestion, you should Edit Your Profile to add it in so when you do a search for new messages the posts will show up.
This is going to be where we let Moon post Moon's Memoir's and where the TV Show summaries will be posted by the authors. We will also set up the voting histories there as well. Moon's Memoirs will contain a variety of topics including summaries of the live feeds. If you haven't read them yet, please check them out.
We will probably try to set up a VIP area in this same place. Unless you are specifically a poster for any of those areas, you won't be able to post in there. This is so in the TV Show Summaries, the summaries are all you see and they won't be buried under a bunch of posts and in archives. The intent is to put control of the posts with the people doing the actual work. Anyways, don't forget to edit your profile to include that area.
Next, speaking of editing your profile, the default right after you register on this board allows your email address to be visible until you check the box that says to hide it. Just something you new guys should be aware of.
If you are trying to register for an account and you are using hotmail or yahoo, you need to email me for assistance. If the username you apply for is vulgar, hateful to a houseguest or not in keeping with the spirit of the TV Clubhouse, your application will be disapproved.
You need to have a valid email address in order to get an account - no getting around it. The password letter is mailed to the email address you provide. This past week, I had 6 applications where the email address was typed in incorrect.
The registration is instant, the approval might take a few hours. The accounts are approved mainly by Ryn and myself and occasionally we need to sleep or look like we are working in our day jobs. If you register for an account and you don't receive an Initial Discussion letter within a four hours, please send me an email. bbfcgail@aol.com
Please - if you are having a problem with your
account, email me! Don't email Neil or our moderator account it will slow your request down by hours, maybe days.
