As the new HOH, Drew has nominated Diane and Nokomis - Diane because she flunked geography and Nokomis because when he called the number on her neck, some guy answered who insisted that asteroids were hurling toward Earth and the universe would be doomed unless Nokomis was allowed to win BB, and, subsequently, take over the world. And here we thought the number would be a registration hotline for People Who Want to Tattoo a Necklace on Their Chest to Save Money on Jewelry.

I, for one, think we should let Nokomis take the Grand Prize. After all, she cared enough about us to try and save us from floating aimlessly into the Great Beyond. She also put her hair through the ringer just to entertain us. And she elevated the power of the pinky finger to equal that of the pointer, best demonstrated by Tonya of BB3, and, in a different way, Robert of BB4. Give her time, and she'll soon have the pinky on par with the all-powerful middle finger.

The HGs are given a luxury challenge during which choice pieces of their clothing are destroyed. Gone are Nokomis's skater jeans, which is a good thing - but, unfortunately, Diane's Kentucky Butt pants are still around. Cowboy loses a yellow shirt, but we all know there are more where that came from.

The HGs are given the opportunity to participate in a three-minute shopping spree, and they make good use of their time. They all come away with more than twenty new items of clothing apiece, including several in purple, which Bunny is taking as a personal affront to her sensibilities. Cowboy is excited, exclaiming, "They didn't gimme no yeller, and yeller is mah favert color, but they did gimme some purple, and that's mah second favert. I just wish I had a shirt with yeller and purple together."

Nokomis tells Drew, "I don't think you like me very much. You've put me up three times." She says she is going to work hard to win the Veto. I say concentrate more on begging Cowboy to help her plan the next family reunion. Sing "We Are Family" at every opportunity, and talk about how Wyatt Earp and Jesse James and Quick Draw McGraw all shot people who messed with their sisters.

Cowboy tells Diane all about the Horseman alliance. "How did you come up with that name? Chess?," asks Diane. "No," replies Cowboy, "Jase came up with it, probably because I'm a cowboy." "Speaking of Jase," says Diane, "we used the Six-Finger Plan to get him out." She proceeds to tell him all about it, and he begins to realize that Drew was part of it. He confronts Drew about his role in a fellow Horseman's eviction.
Cowboy: You turned on one of your own and got him kicked out of the game! Why did you do that?
Drew: You don't understand, Cowboy. Everyone wanted him out. He was driving the whole house crazy! He was peeing on things!
Cowboy: I did that, too.
Drew: He never wore a shirt.
Cowboy: Me neither.
Drew: There were headbands, pit stains, and those weird noises he made. Flat irons, pink shirts, writing notes to some guy named Dan on the wall. All of that was involved in our decision.
Cowboy: Well, I ain't never done none of that.
Drew: Exactly. It was all too over-the-top, man.
Cowboy: He sure knew a lot about Brad Pitt, though. More than Diane knows about geography.

Drew and Diane discuss the upcoming Veto competition.
Diane: I don't want to win it. If I do, I will take Nokomis off the block out of loyalty to our pinky swear. She takes that stuff seriously and will collect on any fingers owed to her. I still want to learn to play the piano.
Drew: So I need to win the POV.
Diane: If you want to keep Cowboy in the game, that's how it needs to be. You need to win it, or he does.

The boys decide to hold a fashion show for the girls. They put together different outfits to model, and Cowboy insists on incorporating fringe and spurs in every one of his. Drew can't walk the runway without a pair of sunglasses, even though the fashion show is taking place indoors. Bunny secretly wishes for Will to reenter, giving his two cents on the attire - or Jun, who would have made it more interesting with her knack for making clothing out of vegetables. Right now, Drew's preppy outfits could really be livened up with a tomato bra and lettuce Speedo underneath. Everybody's crazy about a sharp-dressed HG, but it's a bonus if you can snack on him, too.

Diane wants reassurance from Cowboy that he will keep her in the game if he wins the Veto. He agrees that he will because he made a deal with her, even though his family and Nokomis's family will hate him. Not to mention the Hell's Angels, hard core punkers, or any people who think nothing of hammering tacks into their skin or drawing skulls on their labia. I don't know about you, but if I were Cowboy, I would want to stay in good with those guys. They're in cahoots with the Mafia, and if he's not careful, he could wake up to find a Horseman's head on his comforter.

Diane wants reassurance from Drew that he will take her to the Final Two with him. He tells her that he wants to go to the end with her, to tell everyone they did it together, as a couple, because it's never been done before. Please excuse Bunny while she goes into another room to puke. Not because this conversation is making her sick, although it is - but more because she wants to show her love for Drew. It worked for Jase, didn't it?

Hoppy trails,
