"Reap What You Sow" - Part 2

3/2/04 Episode 2 :  Opening is a review by the host Ruth England of the way the show works, nothing interesting or new revealed.  That is followed by a narrator's re-cap of the first episode and a teaser for tonights show.

The show finally begins with Matt telling Kassie that he thinks he blew it.  We then see Mary and other women talking about Mary having the decision intermixed with flashbacks to the men all voting for Mary the night before.  Mary lists three guys she has had problems with - Matt, Craig, and Michael.  The conversations continue around the pool - now between the women and the men.  Kassie implies that she is protecting Michael - she tells him she has his back.

Returning from a commercial Mary asks Matt how he is feeling.  The two of them walk off to talk.  Matt tries to explain himself to Mary.. a couple of the guys notice that Matt is campaigning.  Matt tells Mary she should be worrying about Craig and David.  When Mary returns to the others David asks her what Matt was talkign about - she doesn't tell and David proceeds to kiss up to her (verbally).  We see Michael talking to Brooke and he tells her he will not campaign to save himself.  Now we see Craig defending himself, telling Mary he held out to the bitter end (before voting for her).

The guests prepare for the evening dinner - Matt tells the camera he thinks it is himself, Craig or Michael.  He sais "Forever Eden" really meant "Forever Matt" and he is not ready to go home.  At a small get together Craig is seen pushing very hard towards Mary - explaining his reasons reasons - but its very apparent Mary does not appreciate his putting pressure on her.
Craig seems to feel confident he is not leaving.  Michael is very quiet at dinner, Matt seems nervous and we see flashbacks of things he has said about Mary in the past.

The banishment ceremony begins.  Ruth asks Mary to go to the man she wishes to banish and give him the envelope that came with the apple (last night).  She walks around the men and as one of the other women gasps we are treated to a commercial (cliffhanger).

The show resumes and we see a reply of the previous segment - (just like they used to do on Paradise Hotel).  Mary hands the envelope to Craig.  Ruth asks him to step forward (I suspect the envelope is not telling him he is kicked off).  Ruth asks Mary to explain why she picked Craig.  Mary says he was the only one that befriended her and seemed interested yet he did not come to her defense.

Ruth tells Craig he is banished.  She then says "BUT" - Mary can now choose to banish Craig or spare him.  Mary is offered two cards one to banish one to spare.  She chooses one (not revealed).  Craig opens the envelope and reveals that if Mary has chosen to banish Craig she will be banished as well - if she has chosen to spare him she will be safe at the next banishment ceremony.

Mary revelas the card  - she chose to banish Craig - so Mary and Craig are both banished.  Ruth tells them to give two of their four coins to remaining contestants.  Mary gives her two to Neveen, Craig gives his to David.  Two new contestants will arrive in the morning.

The remaining women seem a bit upset over Mary leaving.  Neveen and Kassie decide they want a part of the single room vs the small rooms they are in.  The guys argue about it but then they do a varient of odd and even and Kassie wins so the girls get the big communal room.   Next the drinking begins and truth or dare.  Kissing, lap-dancing, lots of fun.  Michael tells the camera he is attracted to Kassie and we see them head off together.  Men and women end up sharing beds although the only indication of romance would be between Michael and Kassie and that seems minimal.

With the morning we find people waking up in each others beds - again its implied the possible romance between Michael and Kassie.  We see Brooke and Kassie talking about drama and perhaps creating some.  Others join them at a hammock and then we see some man named "Simon" who brings them all four more gold coins.

The men and women are isolated at their respective dining areas waiting for the new people to arrive.  We see a new guy on a raft.  Then a shot of Ruth by a tree with Craig and Mary's name tags on them.  The new guys name is Wallace (28, Stockbroker) - He meets Ruth at the cauldron and is told to burn all of his ID.  The men greet their new member.  A woman now arrives -  Liz (Elizabeth, 23, Sales Representative) - she does the same as Wallace and then meets the ladies.  As the ladies are greeting Liz we see a comment from Shawna - she talks to the camera and says that Liz will easily screw over any of the other women.

Ruth comes to the womens area and tells them that last night was a shock (two people being banashed) and now one of the remaining women will be banished - Liz is safe.  Ruth tells the women that they need to choose the most desirable man.  They discuss it and agree on whom to choose.  The show ends on that note.

The next show will be Monday the 8th (this seems different from what we had been told).
