Episode 4 "Adam's Apple"

3/15/04   The show begins with a review of last weeks show.  We then see Neveen again promising revenge.  Matt talks to Neveen and tells her it would have been better had she been banished - then he tells her she needs to "play the game."  Neveen talks about how she is most upset with Kassie (her roomate) - then we see them interacting - Kassie saying she is glad she is still here.  Neveen tells the camera that she is just here to make money now.

There is a group get together and we see Matt tell Liz that he thinks Jordan needs to go.  We see shots of Matt getting touchy feely and gettin smacked - we hear that his "groping" is getting annoying.  Wallace and Shawna are seen kissing in front of the others.

David and Liz go off alone at the bar and Matt talks about how attractive she and Shawna are.  He explains that he is sure not as attracted to Shawna now because of the way she is carrying on - and as they talk we see Shawna apparently disrobing in the pool with others around.  Liz tells the camera that she is attracted to guys with dark hair and dark eyes - that if she took all the guys she liked at home and rolled them into one it would be David.  Dave says that stuff (the frolicking in the pool) can be fun but he'd rather do it... "one on one," finishes Liz.

We then see Brooke and Shawna walking with towels wrapped around themselves - they say they are heading for the shower - Jordan tags along and says he is going with them - we then see a closed door and hear all three of them laughing and the sounds of a shower running.  We also see David and Liz walkign across the grounds and Dave tells Liz he is glad they met and that she is his dream girl.  Apparently some time later David and Jordan are talking about the evening - David tells Jordan that as soon as he saw Shawna hanging out with someone else he decided to hang out with someone else and the "next best thing" was Liz.  The segment ends with a fade-out shot of Liz in bed alone......

After the commercial Jordan is shown discussing the shower incident with the guys - laughing and joking about dropping the soap - then we see Brooke, Shawna and Neveen and Brooke talks about how she thinks of Jordan as a brother and that there is no attraction at all towards him. 

The money is brought out by Simon (the only time we see him is when he brings out them money).   4k for everyone as usual.

Jason is introduced to the audience - he is 26 years old, from Scottsdale and he says he wants to stir things up - says that he is the "bad apple."  He continues to explain that he wants to stir things up because thats when people's true emotions come out.

Jason meets everyone - some seem to feel that Matt will have problems with him.  Another guy whispers to Mike that Jason is a "meathead."    They feel that the "wild kids" can't be allowed to gain control of "Eden."  Jason heads off with Liz to select a room - as soon as he leaves most of the others apparently make fun of him - "Cheesehead" seems to be the favorite name.

Jason finds an apple in his room and is informed he is the first "Adam" and must choose his "Eve" in the morning.  He is cautioned to be careful - that every action has a consequence.  (My guess is that "Eve" might decide which male to banish)

After a brief commercial break....  Jason tells Matt and others that he got an apple already - Matt says "hopefully its a bad apple" then laughs and smiles at Jason and says "hater!!" (as though he was joking).  (Whoa - anyone reading this see Big Brother One?  For a second I thought I was seeing Eddie!!!).  The guests are given flowers for the party that apparently will take place in the evening and we then see all of them in various exotic outfits - mostly made of leaves and flowers.

The party begins - Liz is seen making teasing kissing motions towards David and the clip of her telling the camera how she is attracted to Dave is replayed.

Ruth arrives and yup - I pegged it - explains that the "Eve" will select the next guy to be banished (along with David).  David takes Shawna aside and explains that he will be talking to all the ladies to night to see how they feel about the necklace (the symbol o being 'Eve.')  Meanwhile Matt, Michael and others seem to be speaking in kinder tones towards Jason (go figgure).

Jason tells almost every girl he thinks they are the most attractive, or sweetest, basically flatters them all - and almost all of them tell him to "go with your gut" when deciding whom to choose as "Eve."   Neveen says she doesn't want anything to do with "that hussy Ruth"  (ouch!!).  Kassie says, "you're screwed." 

Jason says to the camera that he wants as many apples as they can bring him.
Matt seems to be worried about his situation - he asks the girls to please let him know if he is going.  The girls are seen talking to each other about who they would vote out - - Jordan is with them - Jordan suggests Matt as the obvious choice.

Jason talks about how he thinks every girl wants to be "my 'Eve'"  - in rapid succession we see shots of Brooke, Neveen and Liz saying they don't want to be "Eve."

Jason presents the necklace to Shawna.

The guys are shown talking to the camera's about the fact that Dave and Shawna will be deciding who to go. 

Shawna and Jason discuss the options - Shawna seems to shoot down Jordan as an option  - they spend a lot of time discussing Matt.  Jason brings up Michael and the fact that he has the most money of the guys ($20,000).

Jordan politics with Shawna to get Matt out - says it is in everyones best interest - another girl walks by and tells Jordan to stop harassing Shawna.  We see a close up of Shawna - hmmm - perhaps Shawna is annoyed with Matt.

Matt and Jordan talk to each other and seem to be re-assuring each other that they have each others backs - and tell each other that if one of them goes the other person will get their money.  We also see a shot from earlier in the night where Matt told Liz that 'Jordan needs to go.'  Matt them works on Jason - Jason tells Matt that he is going to ask Shawna who she thinks should go.

After another break we see Jason talking about the guys with the women - he then leaves with Shawna to decide whom to select.   The men are busy talkign about who might go.  Matt says he thinks there will be a "twist" - Jordan says, "I think I am the twist!"  Then after more talk they start using the term "double twist"  (which means 'headache' to me).

Back to Jason and Shawna - Jason tells her he will go with her vote.  Shawna says she is trying to decide whom she trusts more to stay.  Jason says "who is around you more.... whose weaker....whose weak?"  Shawna, "This sucks.."

On the the Temple of "Double Twist"..........

Ruth asks Shawna and Jason to come forward - mentions that Michael is the richest with $20,000  - then she goes down the guys names and asks them "banish or spare?"

Wallace?  Spare
David?  Spare
Michael? Spare

So its down to Jordan or Matt - Ruth asks whom they have chosen to banish... and we get a commercial - which means we will get to re-live the last 30 seconds in a couple minutes (thank goodness tonight I have it on tape so I can fast-forward!!!!).

and the person they chose to banish is......

Jordan!!!! Jordan looks really dissapointed - and a bit disgusted with Shawna - he then says "keep looking forwards sweetheart."  Shawna glances at him and says, "No worries Jordan." 

Jordan is told he can give half his money to one person - he gives it to Wallace much to Matt's surprise.  And with that Jordan leaves - and we see Shawan mouth the word "wow."  - Jordan vents to the camera about Shawna says she betrayed him.  Matt walks back with the guys and asks wallace if he could feel his heart beating.

Brooke consoles Shawna and she says how bad she feels - that it was all on her.  Jason talks to Michael about he (Michael) did not have any fear - and thats one of the reasons he didn't want him out.  Michael tells the camera he thinks Jason is playing the game "stupidly."  Matt tells the camera that that makes two times he was the 'guy to go' (be banished) but he is still here at the end of the day.

The teaser for the next show  (March 22nd) ---   The guests are forced to 'couple up' - Jason makes a move on Shawna but Wallace 'steals his thunder.'  The romance between David and Liz heats up.  David and Michael's friendship 'hits the rocks.'  The new guest is Claudia, a sorrority girl from Nashville.  A woman will be banished next week.
