Cast Bios|Tim ("Joe")|Ingrid ("Jane")|Amanda ("Jane" #2)|Episode Recaps|Joe Schmo Home Episode One recap: The show begins as we meet "Joe" and "Jane" in front of the mansion that will be home to the show, from here on known by their real names of Tim and Ingrid. These two think they are going to take part in a show called "Last Chance For Love" - a 'reality show' along the lines of all the other "romance/dating" reality shows out there (Bachelor/Bachelorette, Joe Millionaire, Mr. Personality, For Love or Money, and on and on and on). We then see several other folks walk up
to the house, as a matter of fact I counted 6 extra people that I had not
noticed in the promo pictures I had seen (no worries - they were quickly
disposed of in a tribute to the stereotyping of reality shows).
Once they dismount and eliminate the 'extras' (told you they wouldn't last long), everyone heads inside. Everyone except Piper and Austin mingle on the patio and we get to meet each character a bit. Then Austin and Piper come out and each guy gives Piper a gift and each woman gives Austin a gift. The gifts are strange and silly except of course the ones from Tim and Ingrid. I mean Bryce (The Stalker) gives Piper a frog!!
After the game Derek meets with the contestants and explains a "twist" - and for what seems to me no reason a falcon flies in with a message taped to its foot - and the message reveals that Austin will eliminate one of the ladies that night - Derek also reveals that the persons Piper and Austin select in the end will win 100k but Austin and Piper can't know that. Now while Ingrid, Ernie, Austin and Piper spend time in the hot tub (oops - spoiled the results of the contest!!), Tim and the other guys talk in a room overlooking the hot tub. Bryce reveals his "stalker" tendancies by lurking about the balcony staring at Piper and company and telling TIm and others that he is the only one that really 'knows' Piper.
All in all it looks like another great season of Joe Schmo with future games like "Taste My Treats," "Bound By Love," and "Bangers and Mash." No "Hands On The Hooker" this time like in Joe Schmo One but ya can't have everything!!!
