I spoke with Harmonie Nation the morning after episode #3 - here is what we talked about!!

Part II  (Part I)

ILoveReality:  Do you think the show is a fair representation of how things were?

Harmonie:  Yeah I think it has been a fair representation – obviously a couple of things are going to be embellished.  A couple of girls that have said a comment obviously its going to be hyped up….

ILoveReality:  Like someone makes a comment about the bugs and then you see an image of the bugs….

Harmonie:  And that’s what really makes it funny, you take these pampered girls – not necessarily all pampered – and you stick them in the outback and its going to be hysterical.

ILoveReality:  So how much of Mary is real and how much of Mary is her putting on an act?

Harmonie:  Its really funny, I’ve gotten to know Mary really well, we still speak too and that’s how she really is.  (laughing) In a way its like sad to me because I’m like “how is somebody like that?”  but in a way I respect her because she does not care about the game at all – that’s how she really is.

ILoveReality:  In the first show when she got all “dolled up” to go talk to Jack privately behind the tent were you guys all surprised?

Harmonie: I had never seen anything like that, and its funny because I didn’t see her until she was ready to go, and I was like “Mary, what the hell are you wearing?” and not only that she even had a purse and I opened it and she had a keychain of her dog and that was it.  She told me, “I brought all these outfits and I’m not going to wear them!!” (as if Mary was frustrated).  I just love her because that’s who she is and on some of the websites people hate her - but that’s how she is.  I don’t think she is upset at all about how the show has portrayed her.

ILoveReality:  Did you get to see much of Australia while you were doing the show?

Harmonie:  We saw a little bit but really didn’t do much site-seeing.  We did see a little between flights but we were not sent to a spa when we were eliminated.

ILoveReality:  You have mentioned Mary and Courtney – have you kept on touch with others?

Harmonie:  Mary, Courtney and Adrian – Its nice to come out of it (the show) and have some people to talk to about it.

ILoveReality:  Of all the girls that are left at this point – assuming Marissa is still in the mix – who would you like to see “win” and would do you think might “win.”

Harmonie:  I would love to see Courtney win, she’s just a great girl and she’s in it for the right reasons.  I don’t know if she will win… I think connections wise she might choose Marissa or someone like that.

ILoveReality:  I could see it coming down to Marissa and Courtney.

Harmonie:  I don’t know why he would choose Marissa but supposedly there is some connection there.  There was the scene where they were making out in the woods and that was apparently the night before I was eliminated and I was talking to Shannon and we both thought that she (Marissa) was going to be eliminated, we all did.  We didn’t know that that happened the night before (the kissing between Jack and Marissa) – so obviously she wasn’t going to be.

ILoveReality:  She (Marissa) said she was going to take things into her own hands and she obviously did.

Harmonie:  The smart way I guess if you are playing the game but not my style.

ILoveReality:  You have a website right?

Harmonie:  Yes – it’s http://www.harmonienation.com/

ILoveReality:  How did your parents decide to name you Harmonie?

Harmonie:  My dad actually named me – my mom was going to pick the name if I was a boy.  My dad is a huge music, nature… everything – he was in the 60’s and was like a hippie and he wanted something that represented everything good and wanted it to bee unique so he used IE.

ILoveReality:  I also saw that you are working on a couple of TV shows?

Harmonie:  Yes – but I was doing it a long time before Outback Jack – because some people think people try to get into show business by being on a reality show.  I want to host my own show – and currently co-host a couple on cable.  One is kinda like a “wild-on”  show where we visit a bar, or a club and interview the owner, take a tour of the place – and recently we have gone to a couple of celebrity events, that’s great and I recently interviewed the cast of the Sopranos and that was great.

I also recently produced a benefit fashion show for breast cancer all by myself and producing something in general is really hard and when you don’t have a lot of help its extremely had.  It was a great success and I think I am actually going to be doing that every year.

ILoveReality:  Thank you very much Harmonie

Harmonie: Thank you very much it was great - keep watching!!

Please don't take Harmonie's responses as direct quotes - I feel I have captured her meanings in each answer but there was some editing done by myself.  She was wonderful to talk to and I really appreciate her taking the time for the interview.

My thanks also to all the great people at TBS for setting up this interview!!!!
