Episode #1 6/16/04: And season two begins. The ladies are shown in a teaser for the season driving across the US and they have to stay in trailer parks with people/families they meet along the way. First stop - Miami - the girls go shopping so we are treated to a musical interlude showing the two spending mucho dollars. As they leave the store they find a pink truck pulling a silver streamline trailer. This is to be their home for the duration of the trip. Their biggest complain twas the lact of a mirror in the trialer - Paris says they can get one at Wal-Mart (a reference to last season where Paris thought all they sold at Wal-Mart was walls. Commercial break #1 When we next join Paris and
Nicole they are on the freeway driving their trailer to Smokey and the
Bandit theme. At a toll booth the girls have no money and have to
barter their way through - amid much honking of horms Nicole steps out
and begs for money from passing motorists. This is where the "unreality"
of the show has already begun - I can't imagine any law enforcement agency
allowing this to go on on a toll-road without prior permission.
Next up Nicole and Paris must get gass in their truck - Nicole hits on a guy in a store and he gives her a few dollars - then as Nicole is muching on food in the store without paying the manager approaches.
Commercial Break #2 Ahhhhhhh they saved the fall for after the break. Well she did indeed fall off the horse but it didn't look to me like it bucked her off as much as she bounced off when she got it running fast. So we see the fall and the helecopter arrives to wisk her off to the hospital where she is declared ok. Back on the ranch Paris and Nicole play the guilt card with the owner who feels responsible - they lay it on REAAL thick and he agrees to buy her ice cream and lets them feed the monkeys at the store (yes monkeys) and they then sweet talk him into buying all kinds of things at the local store and using him for all he is worth. Upon the return back to the ranch the somehow talk "J O" (the owner of the ranch) into modeling a pair of chaps with nothing underneath - thankfully his hind quarters were blurred out. Commercial Break #3 And thus ends episode number one - before the credits roll we see several teases for the upcoming season. |
