By way of confirmation avid problem still exists with WP CU-SeeMe Ver 3.1.1 Build 004, releasedMarch 30th 1998, I received the following response from A WP Technician;when I asked him if the original 3.1 Build 25 bug had beenresolved (which involved going in and out of certain verisons of WP reflectorsoftware and apparently disguised problems with Cornell and Godette's Enhanced reflectors as a result. )Subject: Re: Ver 3.1.1

Dear (Sanitized for protection);
This was our main reasonfor version 3.1.1 we are very certain that this
is no longer the case. However if you are connecting to CornellReflectors
or the Enhanced Reflector, then there may still be problems. Theseproblem
are fully documented in the release notes and should give all the
information we have at this time. If you find this to be otherwiseplease
eMail me so that I might look into this further.

Dear (Sanitzed for protection)
Thank-you for your support of Cu-SeeMe. First the Receptionrate does not
usually cause any degradation of video signals and if it is youshould
mearly lower the Max Recieve within your reflector configuration.I would
only suggest this however if your using a smaller amount of bandwidthsuch
as an ISDN. It would be simpler though to upgrade to the MPCS (Meeting
Point Conference Server) which has built in bandwidth managmentand would
cut back as it saw the need.
As far as the v3.1 client problems sending video, it appearsthat this is
due to an error within the client itself. We are working on a fixfor this
and expect a new release sometime in April.
