I hope you find these pagesuseful...that was the intent. From my experience as a refmon myself, Igrew weary of trying to explain why rates are important, how to set thevarious versions up and dealing with people who just wouldn't listen whyit was important or how it affected other users.
My intent is to supplementyou and your pages. Not all reflectors have their Max/Min levels set torestrict, so I've intentionally adopted a SUGGESTED RATE LEVEL that shouldprove functional for most users in most reflectors. When Cable, 56k andISDN become more the standard, I'm sure we'll all revise our thinking onrate settings. However, if you have comments or feedback, most of you knowwho I am and have my email address... If you don't, ask another ref owneror operator.
However, I have now addedan email link on the bottom of the front page. Use it if all else fails.
These pages have grown tremendouslyover the last year and a half...and it's all because you took time to writeand help put the information together, clarify where necessary and generallycontribute.
In the meantime,PLEASE feelfree to link to these pages. Just drop me a note and let me know...I'llput a link back on page 3. If you'd like a "banner" to use, there are twobelow; The first blue one is the one on "Link Exhange" at the present time. The second is the banner used at the top of each of these pages. Downloadand insert your choice as needed. They're not fancy, but nothing on thesepages was meant to be: they're functional and load fairly fast.
