After you have run the program, you will have a new folder called "cuseeme10" with 3 files in it. Install the Video Codec You must have a small program (called a codec) on your computer that allows you to see and be seen by others on refs. Click on your Windows Start button, select Settings and Control Panel Double-click on Add New Hardware and follow the prompts until it asks if you want to Search for New Hardware Choose No, I want to select the hardware from a list, then Sound, video and game controllers from the list Click on the Have Disk button, Browse to the new cuseeme10 folder on your Desktop, select oemsetup.inf and hit OK White Pine M-JPEG Codec 1.1 will be displayed. Hit OK and follow the prompts to restart your computer Configure the Software Start CUseeMe using the icon in the new cuseeme10 folder on your Desktop. When it is open, click on the View pull-down menu, and select Preferences. Click on the General tab to change your name. Click on the Video tab to check your camera settings. Make sure M-JPEG is displayed in the Codec field, and your camera is displayed under Capture Device.
