New HoH is decided at 3:25am. 

7/30/04 After 9 1/2 hours of competition - Diane won the HoH challenge when Big Brother announced the other remaining competitor, Jase, had his back heel partially off the box he was standing on.  He was asked to remove his hand from the button he had been pressing and Diane was declared the winner.

It had been a long night for Jase and Diane and they two had been competing one-on-one for four hours.  Here is the order that each person was eliminated and why.

Jennifer 7:45pm - 1 3/4 hrs - She said later that her hands were hurting because she is double jointed in each finger and it hurt to hold the button in.

Karen 9pm - 3 hrs - Seems to me she just kinda gave up and stepped down.
 

Michael 10pm - 4 hrs - Michaels whole arm was shaking - and someone said they heard a 'pop' - he said he hurt his shoulder.  He was very upset to be eliminated and cried while inside with Drew after he was eliminated. Scott 10:30pm - 4 1/2 hrs Called out by Big Brother on a technicality - it seems that both his hands were on a portion of the picture of himself for an extended period of time.  Diane mentioned that she thought he had done it much earlier in the night - and he said he hadn't - then BB came on the speaker five minutes later, said they had reviewed the tape and he had indeed violated the rules.  Scott honestly had no recollection of the incident and was really dissapointed to be eliminated.

Marvin 10:55pm  5 hrs- With a howl Marvin jumped off his spot - he said he had had a cramp in his forearm for an hour.  He had been in distress for quite a while before he quit right after Drew announced the 5 hour mark.

Adria 11:12pm 5 1/4 hrs - Adria was switching fingers on the button when she said one of her fingers 'locked up' and she was done.

Will 11:24pm 5 1/2 hrs - Will got assurances from Jase that he would be safe this week - including not being put up if there was a veto - he already felt he was safe with Diane - so he jumped off his platform after hollering to the other HGs to watch.

Jase 3:25am - Called out by BB on a technicality for having his back heel off the platform.  According to Diane it had been that way for an hour.  Diane did not challenge it it - it was BB that called Jase on it.
