8/10/04 Jase keeps working for 'good tv,' meanwhile the rest of the HG's have their own ideas.  Big Brother reaches the halfway point.

With Jase the next person out (yeah - its a lock), he still keeps his chin up and his eye on the camera.  He has been heard several times over the last few weeks talking about making "Good TV."  Yesterday, after he was put on the block by Jennifer (Nakomis), he went a bit balistic, ripping into Diane and telling her to kiss his rear (ok - thats not the exact working he used).  He then huffed off and began packing his clothes.  But being the good actor he claims to be - he didn't forget he was on camera - so while packing he took several breaks to check himself out in the mirrors, making sure his clothes were hanging just right.
 

Jase has promised Michael that he will stir things up up until showtime Thursday, but when it comes to showtime he plans on going out nicely. It will be interesting to see if the remaining HGs treat him nicely when he leaves.  The original idea among some of the HGs was to all remain seated and let him walk to the door with as few of them as possible. Another suggestion came up yesterday though - so don't be surprised if as Jase walks out the door the twins kick it closed and holler, "Now thats good tv!!"

The plan is to have a big party after Jase leaves - the only thing that might spoil it is if Michael were to win the HoH competition.

Big Brother decided to let the HGs have a pizza and beer party complete with music last night.  So for over two hours the feeds were blocked out (Since music is copyrighted - CBS would have to pay royalties for any music broadcast over the live feeds - which is why HGs are not allowed to sing). 

The reason given for the party was that the HGs have reached the "halfway" point in the show which according to the HGs is scheduled to end September 25th.  I wonder if that really was the reason or if the producers came up with an excuse to allow the PB&J folks eat something as well as allow the stress level to be lowered a bit after the blow ups that followed the Veto Ceremony.

Voting is Wednesday - chances are today will be a calm day unless Jase decided to stir the pot a bit more.
