What you missed this weekend and will see tonight - a mini-recap. (Spoilers)

9/7/04 So you actually tried to get away from "Big Brother" this weekend huh?  But it keeps dragging you back in?

This has been one of the craziest weekends that I can recall in Big Brother with all the goings-on Friday and then a fresh round of nominations, veto competition, veto ceremony all taking place since then.

So lets re-wind to Friday - for those that caught the TV show they led you to believe that Drew was the HoH until Saturday and the "Live" show Saturday was actually live - sorry to dissapoint you - Drew was only HoH for about 12 hours - Marvin was evicted Friday afternoon and Jennifer (Nakomis) was the new HoH Friday night.

Saturday Jennifer, consulting with Karen, nominated Drew and Michael - the thought being that Michael would go out this week.

However - Saturday evening Diane, worried that Drew might go instead AND wanting to secure her place in the house, figgured out that if she won the POV she could save Drew and Jennifer would have to put up Karen in his place.  Then Diane and Drew would vote out Karen.

Diane approached Drew and Michael with this plan Saturday night after nominations and both agreed to it.  I am still not sure if Drew will remain loyal to Diane or Michael if he has to choose but for the moment that does not matter. In some type of "escape from a cage" Power of Veto competition on Sunday Diane pulled it off and won.  At first Karen and Jennifer were not concerned but it slowly dawned on them (as they watched Diane, Drew and Michael constantly sticking together) that Diane might use the POV - even though they felt that she was in the famous 'pinky swear' alliance  (Diane explained to Drew that she never physically 'pinky swore' with Karen - only Jennifer).

So - yesterday - Diane did indeed used the POV and saved her love (oh - Diane and Drew also both used the word loooooovvveeee with each other this weekend) so Jennifer had to put up Karen.

Karen is feeling 'back doored' - and knows she is gone Thursday.

Diane and Drew have also come to the conclusion that at this point in the game you have to lie to keep your sanity - so they have been telling Jennifer that Michael is gone - just to keep Jennifer and Karen off their backs.  I don't think Jennifer or Karen are buying it though.

There has also been speculation by the HGs if the next HoH competition will involve all the remaining HGs or if Jennifer will be excluded from competing.  If BB follows the same course they did last year, then Jennifer will not be allowed to compete.  Last year Alison, Robert and Erika competed for HoH while Jun sat out.
