A STAR IS BORN®: SHOW SUMMARY …“You Don’t Have to be a Star to Look Like One!” American Idol Meets Extreme Makeover for a Brand New Reality Series! If you’ve ever seen one of those talent shows and thought, wow, with just a few slight alterations and polish this person could be a superstar?? A Star is Born® is a new reality series with audience participation and voting like American Idol, Star Search etc. but the six finalists are put through a complete makeover from head to toe and work on their music or fashion videos with some of the top talent in the entertainment biz!! The audience then selects the winners by talent, overall star power, charisma and style! This week we begin our talent search for new footage of young and talented hopefuls to literally create a star! Our dream team of star makers will select the finalists and go over their makeover plan of attack. After their cosmetic procedures, training and beauty treatments were completed, each of the recipients of the A Star is Born Makeovers will return to their previous lives with a new confidence and composure. Hear from their family members, friends and co-workers, see their hometowns and witness the surprise reunion of these three remarkable individuals. Then we begin the journey of making them a star! Six people will be chosen from among thousands of applicants across the country to have their dreams come true — to change their looks in an effort to lead better lives and polish their talents to strive for stardom! Through the skilled expertise of a group of doctors; a cosmetic surgeon, eye surgeon and a cosmetic dentist, along with a dream team of hair and makeup artists, stylists and personal trainers, A Star is Born® will transform their lives and ultimately redirect their destinies to possible Superstardom! Winners receive a $100,000 cash prize and a recording, modeling or acting deal. We are in Search of Our
